(Consultant Plan) Move Project from one team to another...can it be done?

Hello!We’ve throughly enjoyed using Miro over the past few months and our usage has only skyrocketed as most people and teams discover new ways to apply the tool.As our usage has increased, so has our organization. We now have Teams set for each Business Unit and Projects and boards within...we do have some straggler users and projects that we would like to re-organize into the new structure. Is there an easy way to take a project (with several boards within it) and move from one team to a different team? Thanks in advance!

'Password exceeds length' message wrong

I tried to sign up for an account using a long password, but it failed and the message read something like “Password can not exceed 60 characters”. That message is wrong, I tried with a 60 character password and it still didn’t work. The password can not exceed 59 characters. Please fix the logic or the error message. Thanks.

Printing frames WITH titles

I would like to Export to PDF and print, but the Frames are not exporting too, so the content is floating without context. While printing will not be the main way of interacting, occasionally it is needed. Is there a way to Print or Export that gives that option? Rob.

Adding Monthly Licenses to a Yearly Consultant Plan

Currently have an annual license under the Consultant Plan and would like to add 2 more licenses as monthly. It doesn’t seem like there’s any way to do this. Can I get help on this asap please?

Hello, hello, Is it possible to invite external guests to become members of certain Project within one Team without them being part of the Team itself? Every time when we have a meeting we need to send an invitation for every new board we make within the project, would it be possible to just make an invitation for the Project but without them being able to participate in other Projects within the Team? Can two people with paid accounts be on each others teams?

Our office has two separate teams. (we don’t need business level yet). All members are paid. SOME members of one team want to share boards with the other team (we don’t need team merging). Can we add members from the other team to our team without paying again for them, and without having them be “guest editors?”

How many members do i need to purchase?

Hi, I read the documentation, but it is not clear for me how many members i should add in to Team Plan. I am a Scrum Master and we are using Miro Boards for Retrospective, Mindmaps etc. I am mostly managing all but they are contributing to our sessions in Miro. What happens if they are not involved as a member? Thank you.

Zoom level on open

Is there a way to set the default view or zoom level of a board when opening it? Here’s my challenge: I’m creating workspaces for different groups, each group has their own board to collaborate on. When I share the links the board is either zoomed way OUT (you can’t see any detail) or is zoomed way IN (you can only see one or two details but with no overview). Is there a way I can set what people see when they open a board? Thanks in advance.

A group of Ux Designers invited me to collaborate on a board but I accept the invitation and it sends me to my account home page however I am not able to see the board that I was invited to and I have searched. What can I do?

People Requesting Access to Non-Public Boards

I have people with a URL to one of my boards asking for access to boards they don’t have the URL for. The boards they’re requesting access to aren’t in the same project as the board they do have access to. How are they seeing boards in projects they shouldn’t have access to, and how do I disable visibility. I should note, these people are not on my Team or part of my account; they’re users from clients I work with.

When I first sign up to Miro, the platform guided me to join my firm’s team. But when I quit and create my own team to try some features, I found I cannot go back to previous team, even I deleted my current team. Can anyone help?

How to insert intermediate step in mindmap?

How can I insert an intermediate step in a mindmap? I already have a wide map with various branches now I like to subdivide and insert a subtopic. The image shows exemplary my problem. One annoying approach would be to create a new branch and write each step again… I guess you have some smarter solution? I appreciate your comments and support.

Getting a missing XSRF token message when editing a JIRA Card

I’ve just configured the JIRA Cards add on for Miro, and can create JIRA cards from MIRO without any troubles. However, when I try to edit any JIRA card the below message flashes up briefly before disappearing, and no changes are made to the JIRA card. Has anyone else had this issue or knows how to fix it? XSRF Security Token Missing

Major Performer Lag Issues & Crashing

Hello all, I am using: Chrome Browser Windows 10 Laptop I have a massive site map I am building. The site map also has ‘data entry fields’, so it can be quite large. For example my site map looks like the attached images. I have usually between 500 - 2000 objects per ‘screen group’ in my sitemap. When I select a large group of objects with the intent to move them from one area of the frame to another for organization purposes… The whole Chrome window locks up and freezes. If I have ~200 objects, it still locks up but unfreezes after 6 seconds or so. With 500 - 1000 objects it locks up and crashes entirely. I cant exit out of the tab and re-open the tab, the Miro tab still ‘spins’ and doesnt load. I must close the entire browser when this happens, and re-enter Miro to edit my sitemap. Problem Summary: As a user, when I group or try to move in a multi-select object fashion, the whole chrome tab locks up and crashes for 500 - 1000 objects. How can I avoid this crashing? Miro WITH-N a Virtual Conference Centre - Who'd like to join in?

Hi I’ve been a little quiet here the last few days as I was off visiting a different paradigm of tool set. Virtual conference centres One example is QUBE which is proprietary (& quirky!). Another is Virbella which provides a campus on which one can buy office suites and conference halls (starting at $100/mth for 10 people). After a few days of playing my view is miro (or mural or deskle or conceptboard or awwap or twiddla…) are plug-ins to that host and not the primary ‘top’ piece of the connection chain. There have been a lot of wish list posts here that would expand miro to be all things to all users - an impossible goal. A goal i’ve been instinctively uncomfortable with. Its upside down. Like expecting a spanner to drive nails and paint door frames. Because of that ‘forced’ feeling I’ve had disquiet that things I want to do don’t work smoothly in miro. It makes for a UX that’s awkward in places. Now I’m imagining the drawing/ thinking tool as a point solution that fits inside the ev

Is it possible to show in MIRO already existing JIRA issues?

Usually I am creating the card in MIRO and link this card to JIRA. In JIRA a new issue will be created, which is linked to MIRO. But what is about existing JIRA issues? Is there a way to show these once in MIRO?

Get in touch button in the education form not working.

Hello! I am a design student and due to the ongoing pandemic condition we needed an online whiteboard collaboration tool. Miro seemed perfect for our needs. So, me and my friends decided to make free accounts on Miro and one of us apply for educational account. But I am trying to summit my application for the past 20 days and it seems like the get in touch button on the bottom of the form is not working. At first I thought, they might be getting so many requests that's why they decided to close it temporarily. So, yeah tell me what do I need to do:- If I can get education account myself or do I need to have my institute arrange it for us through you guys. It might be some other issue with the button, I don’t know for sure. Thank you, Manav

How do I shrink default text size 'User Story Framework Mapping' Cards

Hello! I searched and did not see this question asked before… So here it goes. Context: This whole post is regarding ‘User Story Framework Mapping’ Board Template. Question: Is there a way to shrink the text size on the ‘Cards’ of the ‘User Story Framework Mapping Template? It is difficult to read when the text expands. Example: See Image Attached. Basically I have many ‘activities’ which are like: User Module 1 - Sub Module (A) - Type (A) User Module 1 - Sub Module (A) - Type (B) User Module 1 - Sub Module (B) - Type (A) User Module 1 - Sub Module (B) - Type (B) For example: Community Area - Friendships - View All Community Area - Friendships - View single relationship - Detail Community Area - Following- View All Community Area - Following- View single relationship - Detail Community Area - Followers - View All Community Area - Followers - View single relationship - Detail As you can see on the screenshot, the only thing that I can see is ‘Community Area...’ and none of the text. [RESOLVED] Fonts have stopped exporting to pdf

I’ve been using frames on a large miro board to render presentation slides as a PDF document. Until a week or so ago Miro’s fonts were passing thru and showing up in the pdf. But now they are not and it is really frustrating. The rendered files look the same in acrobat and Mac preview and older exports still look fine so I don’t think it is on the reader side. Any ideas what could be going on? previous “correct” export” from a current export...

Cannot Move an Icon Where I Want it

Within a frame, I have some text. I then insert an icon and the icon moves to the top left of the frame and doesn’t let me move it anywhere else on the board except outside of the frame or in the top left of the frame. How can I move the icon where I want it to be (free form)?

Mind map moving a node link on iOS

Hi this is a pre sales question as I’m loving mind map but there is one issue that is blocking me us using it for our company, how is it possible to move a node in mind map on iOS (or any tablet)? All of the online resources completely skip the fact there is no keyboard to hold down the control key when using an iPad etc, so the documented method of being able to move items around in a mind map appears to be impossible on a tablet? This seems really odd as it would be simple to add a touchscreen button or option to enable the same functionailty as if a keyboard CTRL key was held as you drag, but after a great deal of time searching and trying to find a way it appears to be impossible? Is this the case? If so it breaks a crucial feature of mind map and means we can’t adopt it
