Is it possible to use miro to record (using screen recording) an online course from which I would gain revenue?

Hi all, I’m considering a reasonably large scale deployment of Miro and can’t quite work out what the client experience will be. I like that they can be partitioned into teams - great - but what I really want is to be able to invite them to a workshop so that they can edit a board without them having to create a Miro account. Privacy is important, so I need to be able to manage their access.  Practically, there’s no way this would work if I had to ask all my clients to sign up to a third party software and create a new account. If I could send them a link and a password so they can click, type and straight in that would be perfect. Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

in my newbie state i opened an account for an org and that org pays for the account. Now i have another org who also would like to use miro (good advocate here). So I opened another completely different account and it is being paid from a operate account. i would be administering the payment of both.   i the noticed one of the team members who is also on both teams has the option to flick between the account with their same login. i on the other hand have two different emails, two separate accounts.   Is it possible for me to merge my two separate accounts into the one login profile?   Peace   Robin

Hey,    I will host my first remote workshop with Miro tomorrow and was wondering if there is a kind of follow-along mode?    what I mean is: I use presentation mode to show some stuff before we beginn to work with the board.  Is there any way to do this without using screen share?    Additionally is there a collect users function? So if I want people to focus on a special area at the board can I push everyone there to see it or do I need to rely ob facilitating them  move there? 

  hi all,    I’m a teacher exploring using Miro for replacing whiteboard as we move to online education.  I also do some collective drawing exercises so I’m excited to try Miro as a tool in online workshops, etc.  One issue I see is that if I am sharing a board with someone, they can see my drawing update in realtime but if I translate / zoom those transformations are not shared.  For example, I could fill the space with notes and then translate over and draw something else, but their screen is not updated when I change and drawings can quickly become out of the field of view for my students or others I am sharing with.  Is there a way to pass translation and zoom on to other people?    I’d like to make sure they see what I see.  I am a big fan of the infinite canvas model (where you can draw, and pan / zoom, etc) but it feels like unless there’s a way for them to know that the drawing is offscren, it’s un-useful and potentially kind of harmful as I could be drawing in a place they can

I’m sure this is super easy, but I can’t figure it out. I want to create a line numbered 1 to 10 for people to use to prioritize sticky notes. The timeline template is along the lines of what I want, but I can’t figure out how to create my own line like this with 10 evenly spaced dots along the line, each labeled (1, 2, 3, etc.) below the line (like Q1, Q2, etc below). Hy, I can’t find how to add cards, on the phone app ? There is no choice, like on the computer app… I am talking about cards which enable to create actions with date and owner. Thank you in advance. Florence

Hi - can I create animations in Miro like can be done in powerpoint?  

I want to upgrade my plan to a customer plan from 1 member. Originally I already created more than 5 blackboards and two were blocked. I understand that by updating my customer account I will lose the boards that I have already created? Is there a way to avoid it or am I not understanding the specifications correctly.

Hi Guys, Would anyone be able to let me know what I am missing? I have created a frame in preparation for a collaborative workshop, but am encountering a  spot of an issue, whereby when a sticky note is place on the frame and is then moved - the sticky note is relocated and justified to the top left of the frame. Any one else encountered this and over come it? Thanks  

Hello, I am trying to add a button to WidgetContextMenu if the selected widget is a Sticker and it is not locked. I can get the type of widget from the widget object, but it is not clear where i can garner if the widget has been locked or not. This leads to my button being accessible on locked objects, as shown: Can you please offer any guidance on how to tell whether the widget is locked from within the plugin code? Hope this is clear and thanks in advance. Oliver.

I would like to use Miro without having to click each time on my mouse to enter a box to type.  Is there a shortcut to enter a box when you use the arrows to go to the box?   Thanks, Kevin

Hey - I’m searching a solution for conducting Assessment Centers online. One challenge is to enable participants to VIEW a document, but not to DOWNLOAD it. When I invite a quest (view only) he can indeed download documents… Is it possible to block the download-function? Thanks Regina

I can log in fine via Safari and the Mac desktop app using my email and password.  But when I use Chrome (my default browser), I keep getting redirected back to the login screen. Does anyone else have this problem or advice?

I’m an admin for our organization. I’m doing some cleaning and need to delete old projects in a Team that is no longer used and should also be deleted. How do I delete the projects/Team?

Hi, is there a way to lock the board information (i.e., board name, description, preview area, etc.)?  I have a board we are using for a large group and someone keeps deleting the name of the board (it keeps showing up as “Untitled” in my dashboard). Thanks!

About Security; if domain is known, can anybody enter my board or can I control it?

I know you can add metadata through the API, but I cannot find documentation on how to add meta data via web plugins, I’d like to add a “session_id” to the group of objects I create via a single button and I need a way to group them up for future use.

Hi, I’ve read that 25 users can use the video chat feature for a video conference. I’ve not been able to find out how many of those 25 people can I actually see. Is it one active speaker system? All 25 in a gallery view? Something in between? Can it be changed? Thanks for any help. KD.

Hi, I’m trying to give a non-team user “Can View” access to a board under out Business level account.  When I do this, I get a message saying only members of your team can edit boards.  Am I not understanding how this works?   Thanks Mark
