Hi, As I write up my thesis, I have real difficulty reading it in work.  I am wondering if there is a way of editing it in MIro, so I can write comments, move text - write ideas in comments boxes and zoom in and out as I try and refine the chapter. I have tried pulling the chapter into Miro, but can’t separate the pages.  Also tried pulling in text, but again this is a little limited and doesn’t preserve the word document. Does anyone know if this is possible, and if there is a slick way to do this?  Thanks for your help Pete

Hi all,  I have just logged into Miro today and noticed a new blue icon with three lines going down the middle.  Does anyone know what this is? or what it does?  Just curious!   

Hi everyone I have the consultant plan and was hosting a session today with a group and I used the “public link to board” to create the link for the them all to access as Anonymous Guest Editors. A number of them said they could not access the board: they said when they clicked the link the only option it gave them was to create an account. I’m so puzzled as the majority of the rest of the group, using the exact same link, were able to get on just fine. And it wasn’t just one person having the problem - it was several, and they all said the same thing. Alas I wasn’t able to ask them to take a screenshot to show me.  This is the first time I’ve encountered this and I couldn’t find anything to help them troubleshoot it, and didn’t want them to have to set up an account to be able to access it during our session!  I’d love to know what to do in the future if this happens, or how to avoid it in the first place. It’s really important for the kinds of sessions I host that people can simpl

Poor integration with notion. Mind maps do not update when I make changes, some do not appear at all. Attached photo number 1 and 2 this is how it looks in your website, photo number 3 how it looks in notion  

I created a rather large board for two workshops. When I try to to duplicate it, a message on the top of the screen pops up saying “sorry, something went wrong”. Any idea why this is happening? I tried logging out and back in and all different variations of duplication. Still no luck. Copy pasting it onto a new board doesn’t work because, as other users have reported, there are hundreds of items locked and I can’t bundle unlock them - and so they won't get copied...

I’m trying to find my way around Miro to analyse if this is a good tool to adopt for real-time remote presentations to clients. In this case, can I create my workshop board and share the link with the client so they can view only that board? And if they can, will they be able to access video/screenshare option so I can conduct the workshop live online without being one of my team members/users?

I’m trying to use presentation mode. The frames are there but they are viewing all the frames instead of a slideshow view. Do I still ‘invite-view only’ ? What if they already are an editor on that board? I even tried screen share and they said they can see the beginning of the next slide (does that mean I made the frames to big? what size should the frames be? frustrated  

Is there a way to back to a previous point in time in the activity log? When I closed my last session a large branch of the mind map I made was deleted, I see where it happened in the activity log, but is there a way to get back to the point where that happened?

Hi, I already can invite as many people I wish with the free plan but only I can edit 3 boards. So i would like to subscribe to Consultant to have more than 3 boards but i would like to be sure that i can invite many people as with the free (even if they cannot use the pay features). I have integrated my google drive with Miro, and I’m now able to search and add google docs, sheets, and slides directly into my miro board. However, when I click on the edit button, I get an error message that reads: Why is this happening? How do I get to edit my files from within Miro?

Hi all,   I am having some issues with load time in my Miro board. Even with 3 users, certain images seem to be loading perpetually, while others are very slow to materialize. I have a good internet connection.  What is causing this? Too many elements? Too many frames?   

Our company has several pockets of licensed Miro users established as separate teams. I can’t figure out how to provide access to my board for people outside of my team without using a public link. (I don’t want to use public links.) Miro prompt me to add these already licensed people as additional licensed users on my team. This makes no sense and is really annoying. Can anyone help?  

Hi all,  I have a new Miro board, and have enabled the voting plugin with 5 votes per person, however when i share my board with other users, they don't see the voting session i set up… is there something im doing wrong?  Shouldnt users just be able to click the link to the board and start voting (even as guests?)?  PLease let me know if you have tips/tricks.  Thanks!  Jenna 

Hi, We’re running a POC on Miro and would like to understand how we can achieve the following; One of our third-part developer companies already have a Miro account  We would like them to access our instance / Teams / Boards, using their own account/sign in without having to burn our own licences Is this achievable? We are a fellowship with about 60 users at one time. As fellows graduate, we would like to transfer those Miro Licenses to the new incoming fellows. Is this possible?

Hi, I’m trying to upgrade my free plan to a consultant plan. However, when I log in I do not see an upgrade button in the upper right corner. Clicking on the consultants plan on the pricing page sends my computer in a loop searching on my dashboard, with no result. Can any one help here?   Many thanks, Koen  

We’d like to use Miro for a session upcoming Monday to get interaction into a session. We just checked the tool and were wondering if there is a private editing mode with external guests at Miro as we do not want the attendees to make an account by themselves. Is there any opportunity to have a private Miro session with a secure link or a public link with a password?   Thanks for your support!  

Is there any way to measure distance? Something like a ruler tool, or if a line can be drawn between two points with a length display? Thanks!

Is it possible to place (3rd party?) chat windows on a miro board?  

I just spent 40+ minutes on a custom template, and then once I figured out how to access it, I accidentally deleted it instead of the bad one.  There has to be a way to recover this, right?  Any help ASAP appreciated!

I have a problem with cards : I try to associate an action (= card), to a personn who is contributing to the board. But, when I click on the icon (:who), I have no choice, only my name, even if we are 4 people working on the board (there isn’t any list, with names of people contributing) these people don’t belong to my team, but they have been invited with the link, and have registered with their email.  One more information : I have already facilitated a session, and created such cards ( with attribution of people for each action), and now, it doesn’t work !! what’s happening ?  Thank you in advance,  Florence

Hi It seems I created all of my board in a size that Miro wants me to zoom all the time if I add something new. Could I resize the whole thing to a 50% view for example?

Is there a way to link the kanbans or other elements like tables or external numbers the chart table?
