I have been testing “tags” on a story map. While I can add them, I can’t seem to click on them to filter them, so am a bit confused on what the use of tags are for besides just color coding? Am i missing how best to use “tags?”   

Im trying to figure out how to have a conversation with teammates on a card in a story map (this could be extended to other use cases in Miro).   I noticed as I create a Story Map, either on the card or the modal when you open it up, there is no way to have a “conversation" on it. So far I figured out how to add a separate “Comment” from the toolbar. This way they feel disconnected. Figured I may be missing something. Is this something that is offered?       

Hi All! I am really happy to use miro, it is a piece of a nice digital product. Unfortunately, my team came across a surprising event. We were using the free plan for testing and we added to the team a few members. One month later 20 unknown users appeared in our team. Is this a bug or in the free plan miro community gains access to our content and can join our team without our permission?

When I go into active users it will say someone has access to one board yet they can access any of them. It says I have access to 11 but I can also access any of them. How do I fix this? If we have consultants that should only have access to one board this is a huge security flaw.

Hi, can someone please give more information on anonymous board editors, external board editors, and external board viewers and commenters? Do any of these roles require licenses? And what is the difference between them?  We are thinking of licensing Miro, but need to understand how this works to know how many licenses we would need to buy. 

guys, on a recent demo vid there were some really nice instructions integrated into the board explaining functionality i.e. copy/paste / how to write comments etc. Is this available anywhere?

currently working on a toy project for rolling dice. it needs read/write on a board.  https://github.com/megonemad1/MiroDicePostIt I’ve tried a bunch of different things. but i keep getting either “A client must have at least one registered redirect URL” or “A redirect_uri must be supplied.”   I’ve tried a bunch of different things any ideas? I’m aware: 'https://' + window.location.host + '/success.html' results to the wrong thing for github pages. fixing that doesn't fix the problem  

I struggle with the dimensions of the templates and frames on my Miro-Board. My case is:  I have a Miro Board with different activities, for each activity I made a frame of template.  All the frames together, are the flow of the workshop.  But how do I know how big the frames must be? When is it big enough for the participants to have a good overview, to read the text in the frames when they zoom in? And how are my letters?  What is a good size of the frame to get a good structure of your board? Or, is anybody willing to share his or her template? I have a requirement and trying to find if this is possible or not. I have custom designed cards. while providing training i want those cards to be available to my clients as a stack, so that during a collaboration session anyone can use them multiple times. Just like the Stack of Sticky notes i want my custom cards to be available as a stack. Is there a possiblity of doing so.

I have created a group of stickies from client discussions and as I link them together I realize that it would be helpful to connect them into a mind map. Is it possible to easily perform this task? I’ve connected them but when I move them around the connected cards do not move and flow like a mind map which would be helpful.   Thanks, Glenn

Hi,  Does anyone know how you can edit an already made custom template and/or delete it?

Miro and Zoom : sharing Miro board through new public access feature  I am running a consultant plan since a couple of weeks.  I had several times the same problem: a Miro board link shared through the new public access feature and by using the Zoom chat feature did not appear as an actionable link at my meeting participants. Sometimes sending through e-mail or through Slack worked. 70% of the time I had failures. I set the “can edit” option in the public access to board link. Is this a known error?  Very annoying when you work with a client. Thanks for any advice, hints, work arounds, etc.  

Hi, I’m new here. I’m a maths teacher. Due to the covid-19 I have to convert my classes to online. I’m looking for a platform that allow me to have whiteboard that have real time collaboration and screen sharing. Screen Sharing in Miro doesn’t share another Chrome Tab. Does Miro have this function? Cause I’m teaching primary student, So i will need to show them some virtual manipulative in another website. Pls advice. Thank you in advance. Stay safe :)

I want to allow people with link to edit a board (together). I’ve just signed up for the consultant plan. I follow the instructions, click on “share” at the top right corner of the board, and only get the option to invite to the team by email. How do I activate the option to share a link?   Thanks!

How do you delete a participant from a board?

I’m setting up the Retro board. Instead of writing notes at the meeting (what worked well, not worked well questions), I’d like the member to fill the note before the meeting without others to read it. Fun Retro app had a text blur setting until the facilitator to reveal it. I was wondering if there is any solution for Miro?

Hi guys,   I wanna run a workshop using a prepared Miro board but I don’t wanna to make all materials visible at the same time and from very beginning. Is somehow possible to have Miro board’s part covered and during a workshops make them visible to the collaborators?   Thanks for the help!   Ania

Running a workshop here in the next month and I am trying to find the most user friendly way to enter people’s responses. The issue is this: I have a segment in my workshop where I ask open-ended question. For example, “What are some healthy habits?” I would like even the least tech savvy attendees to be able to enter text. I have tried using stickies but they are quite difficult to use because they require you to double click in a specific spot. Furthermore, the formatting toolbar that appears is unnecessary and could lead to further confusion. Any thoughts on what tools to use?

I’m running a workshop on Wednesday. I’d like to use Miro for participants to put virtual post-its on a board. I don’t want them to have to create an account - I want the experience for them to be as easy as possible for them. (As it is with Jamboard, the other option I might use). Can I do this with the free account? If not, can I use the consultant account?  Which brings me to problem number 2 - I’ve tried signing up for a consultant account, but it only gives the option for 2 consultants or more, and there’s just one of me!   Thanks in advance for your help...

Hey team - Is there a way to expand textboxes like how cards currently do? I’m creating a pretty in-depth timeline for a project and the way cards appear aren’t very helpful since it takes up so much space, the text is extremely small unless you zoom out too far and the title can’t be boldened/formatted. Textboxes are far much more useful for this particular use-case so adding a function to be able to expand it like cards to reveal the same type of area to write notes would be awesome. Pls advise. Thanks! 

Hi all, I have an issue with downloading models and frameworks as pictures.  I always want to export the single models as pictures and if I click on the button export nothing happens beside a continous sign of loading.  Can you help me out with that issue? I am currently within a team on a FREE plan. I want to have another space, my own space that is for my clients and projects. If I 'upgrade' will i damage the FREE space that the team is working on? (I am not the owner of the FREE space. Will I still be on the that team that holds the FREE space? I need both: 1) to be part of the original team on the FREE plan and 2) create my own CONSULTANT plan space to work on other types of projects.

I’m really confused as I just paid for 3 additional licenses (with me making it a 4 person team).  I received the invoice with a copy of the charge hitting my credit card.  However when I go to add folks to my team it stated that I only had 1 additional full license.  Therefore, I have 2 folks that I can’t add (even though I have an invoice saying I paid for them).   Who can I contact for support?
