Hello,I created a new board of type Flowchart and I hare a question:I saw that there is a note option on the left top corner of the screen but all the notes I wrote there are for all the board.Is there a way to add a note and connect it to a specific element in the flowchart? I don’t want to add a note on the board because I have a lot of elements there and adding notes to the board will be too massy, I want to see the note only when I click on a specific element.Is there a way to do it?

Hello, For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to fill the initial oval of my mindmap. I’ve tried the highlighter, however if you go over even a little bit of what you highlighted, it causes that area to appear darker than the rest of the highlighted area.  i can change the color of the outline of the oval, but no fill. Thanks, Bob

Hi,I recently upgraded and now can’t login. It’s not accepting my password (which I know is right because I use a password locker), then when I try and change the password I am getting a response that my email address isn’t recognised despite it being the one my invoice and receipt have been sent to. I tried logging in via Google with the email address associated with the account as I thought perhaps that’s what I had done originally; which has logged me on, but my upgrade isn’t associated with the account. Have tried both Safari and Firefox with the same result and checked my other email addresses just in case but there isn’t nothing associated with Miro in them.  Any thoughts?

I am a therapist, new to using Miro.  I choose the option to be able to just share the link with my clients.  This is due to nothing will be saved.  I shared the link but they weren't able to access the edit to allow them to use the pens to draw.Can someone share with me what I am doing wrong?  How I need to setup this option KindlyLisa

Hallo, ich hatte gerade folgendes Problem:Auf der Tafel war ich mit einem iPad, ich mit einem Laptop und Person B mit einem Tablet.Als Person B etwas geschrieben hat, war es für mich ganz normal. Für Person B verschwand der Text allerdings nach einer Sekunde wieder, so als ob mit einer Art Zaubertinte geschrieben worden wäre.Woran könnte das liegen?Oder gibt es diese Art Zaubertinte tatsächlich und Person B hat sie aus Versehen aktiviert?  

I notice that I can connect cards with arrows when they are outside the table. But it is not possible when they are inside. So, I figure it out that I can link the cards between each other, when they have any kind of hierarchy (Notice the small arrow on the second image). If you need to know which card a task refers to, you can touch the arrow and it will take you to its original card.I hope it helps!

How can I add a board to two different projects? (Sort of like having a "shortcut" file in one folder and the real file in another folder in Microsoft land). ie NOT a copy, but the same file (board) accessible directly from two different projects. Thx

I am talking about the Miro web plugin SDK and its capabilities.I am successfully using the WIDGETS_TRANSFORMATION_UPDATED event to react to widget transformations like resizing and draging.The problem is with the eventually consistent nature of this event. The event only fires when I release my mouse button and stop resizing or moving a widget. I would like to react to these changes quicker on the fly as the widget is still being resized or moved around.The basic use case is that I want to change the background color of sticky notes depending on their location on the canvas. Currently the user has to already know where these special areas are and then drop the widget in that location. It would be a much smoother user experience if I could update the color of the sticky note immediately as it enters the correct area.This type of feature is known as a drop hint and it is commonly found in high quality UIs.The Miro web client already has all this data, because obviously the vanilla widge

Hi team  I am trying to use https://miro.com/api/v1/organizations/id/members API and it seems it requires a session token. Can anyone help me with steps to acquire session token for MIRO. 

I’m trying to change admin for my team on my free account from a previous staff member to myself. I expect it’s why I’m also having trouble changing ownership of boards through the sharing settings, which don’t show up the drop down option to change to ‘owner’. Appreciate you’re help on this :)

Even if I reinstall, still missing. Anyone has the same issue ?

I participated in a workshop where the facilitator used Miro. He sent everyone a link. Every time I want to re-open this board I need to find the link, and it’s a pain. I can star the board to make it easier to find, but what I really want to do is figure out where the board is in the Miro app. How do I know what team it’s in? What if I’m not a member of that team? Is the link / start the only methods available to get back to the board??

Hello! I created a board with an email that does not exist anymore… With my new e-mail I lost the ownership of the board. Moreover, all other members have comment rights but no one has edit rights to share edit rights with me. Is is possible to switch the board ownership from a former email (that does not exist anymore) to a new email? It is super important for us to have this board back. Thank you

Hi everyone,This is the problem:I can have external editors on any given board in my Team Plan if I share with them the Link of that board and set that everyone with the link can edit.Why do Miro have this kind of feature BUT won’t let me enable a non-team user invited to the team to edit any given board as well?For security reasons that would be better and I wouldn’t have to worry about someone leaving my Team and retaining the access to that board OR I wouldn’t need to change the password to that link everytime a person leaves the team.There is any way to enable this kind of access to my boards? Or I have to pay for seats in this case?Thanks in advance,Lucas 

Hi team, I would like to know that If I prefer to apply for a membership with have 5 people on the team, How much will I have to pay for my membership per month?And once I create the board and share it with another person which is not my team member, just share it with them for a while. Will you have any additional charges or not? and How?

I have noticed that other members in the board can shut down the sound of the timer. How can I eliminate it?

Hi Miro Community!I’m totally new to this tool and would need your expertise :) Thanks in advance for reading my post! We bought 6 licenses (Team plan) because we want to hold 6 parallel sessions (one host for each session) with non-members joining. I bought the 6 licenses and my issue now is how to allocate the licenses to the other 5 persons?When I see my subscription details, it says well that only 1 license is allocated.The problem is that when I want to add a new member, it says that this person will have a 7-day free trial, but I don’t understand why as we have bought 6 licenses in total.Could you explain me how to provide the other hosts with login details?Many thanks!! 

Hi I have purchased 4 licences for my team but we also want to open some of the boards to the wider team? When I add none team members on a free licence they don’t seem to be able to edit a none project board? Is it the case that everybody in the company needs a full licence if they ant to contribute to a board? Thanks Ian

This is new and unusual. When I select the text feature, instead of creating a text box that is in a frame or sitting on the white board and connected to the content in that space, the text is placed on an overlay. The text size stays constant when I zoom in and out, and it cannot be selected to delete. When I select all the text content from that object, there are greyed out words “Type Something” that remain. When you pan around in the board space that text stays in the same place. I can’t get them to go away! Not sure how to switch back to the normal text functions. Thanks! 

Hi,I’ve pasted a Google slides link for a specific slide within a presentationMiro inserts this as a preview, which is great!However, the preview is of the first slide, rather than the specific slide I pasted.Manually navigating slides within the miro preview is reverted on reload, so this is also not an option.How can I set the Slides preview to display a specific slide, rather than beginning from the first slide? Thanks  Lehe

I upgraded to a Team plan.However, when I open a board created by another company, I cannot use the paid functions.Is this a Team plan?If I have a Business plan, can I use paid functions on boards created by other companies?

I’m a math tutor converting from AWWapp to Miro. I did a lesson today on the free plan before buying the team plan. My student wasn’t able to export the board, only me. Will that be the case when I will by the team plan?  Will I be able to send them the link as an Anonymous Guest Editors and they will be able to export it? Thanks!
