My team is working with a consulting company and we have shared our Miro Boards with them directly  They don’t have access to our corp network, so we’ve manually added their email addresses to the boards as editors.  We are not using the public share links.  They are able to do everything that editors can do, except for using the “Bring Everyone to Me” functionality.  I’ve seen where “Guest Editors” cannot use this function, but our consultants shouldn’t be considered guests as we have added them manually and sent the invites directly to them.  We need to be able to have them bring everyone to me.  They have been able to do this previously.  What do we need to do to make that happen?

Is there a way to change the margins in Sticky notes?  I notice that there is so much wasted space outside of the text between the text and the end of the sticky note and want to know if that space can be lessened. Id much rather give that attention to the size of the font and not blank space,  Get my point?

Hi, accidentally I closed, without saving my last document. is t any way i may recovery it? 

This normally works fine, and I’ve just opened a support request with Miro so hoping it is just a temporary issue but thought I’d check if anyone else has experienced errors recently in restoring RTB backup files? I get a Loading… message for a few minutes and then a “Something went wrong” message.Kiron

 just experiencing problem with the miro (web or app) , I can’’t add any picture by copy paste the image, or via google search or iconfinder. It is just loading and stuck. I tried using different account with different laptop still have the same problem. Note Two laptop :first laptop using windows 10 1909second laptop using windows 10 2004. 

Hi,I am unable to edit my own boards that I created over the period of few months.I cannot add new boards or edit my own boards. Please let me know how is this possible. Has anyone blocked my access ? If so who has done it. Interesting is that when I send the link to other people they can edit my boards.Please help. Miro is like the air that allows me to live. Without it I am fading away. Thank you in advance.Pawel 

When I try to export my artboards from sketch to board Miro using plugin by Miro I have always error (screen attached below). I have no idea why that appear although plugin recently pretty good worked. I need help how to solve the problem. Perhaps do you know similar analog of plugin for sketch? I will be grateful for any help, thanks.    

So on computer, mouse track pad, option,drag is a quick way to copy a bunch of objects.  But, on iPad with finger or pencil there are no modifier keys.  Help says the is no special NAVIGATION mode.  But is there any way to get ctrl , cmd, option modes esp. with the pencil .  This would make the interactions on iPad consistent.

Hi, I would like to get a Object of the whole, complete miro board. Found this article in documentation: https://developers.miro.com/reference#get-board  But it doesn’t include any miro board command that can be used like with board widgets for instance which have something like this: miro.board.widgets.get()tried miro.board.get() but the feedback I get from console is that it is not a supported function, so the question would be if there is any integrated way of getting the whole board as an JSON object for the sake of “replicating” / “duplicating” the board contents on a new board for instance. Also, how should I go on about getting custom board objects like images to get them on a new board since I would like to get the exact copy of a already existing board which may include .jpg (or similar) files on it. Alternatively is there a different / better way to do a task like this? Thanks for any suggestions

Is it possible to snap objects to the grid that’s shown when you toggle on “Show Grid”?I can’t find any info about this feature (all of my searches bring up info about Grids, which is the table-like tool).Thanks.

Please help me with the main tool. I need to select several objects and, say, move them to another place. For that I need to switch a hand into an arrow. So I do it, switch a hand into an arrow. But when I want to select and move, the arrow changes into a hand! That is so annoying. What should I do? I didn’t change the settings. Everything was OK. Now it changes the way it wants. 

Hello, I am working on a group assignment for which I created a board but this morning when I tried opening the url with a shortcut I created it says it has been deleted.The same message for everyone else on my team who tries to enter the board. I can’t find any trace of it ever existing at all, so I can’t restore it from my trash.Can anyone help? We have a presentation tomorrow and it is very much needed.. 

Hey all, When I opened one of our workshop boards today I noticed that 95% of the content was missing: There were probably more than 50 frames on the board, all disappeared without a trace. The weird thing is, not everything was gone. Two frames remained, one seemingly intact, the other one missing content as well. These two frames are the last ones I worked on yesterday, and the frame that looked complete was the last one I touched. It looks like everythings older than that has vanished.I first assumed that one of my teammates might have deleted something by accident, but when I checked the activity feed, I couldn’t see any deletions. The last changes where made by me, and when I stopped working yesterday, the board was fine. I tried everything, web client, browser version, I asked others to double check – but the content is definitely gone (at least for the time being).I have already created a support ticket, but I was wondering if anyone experienced something like this before and fo

I had some brainstorming thoughts and ideas within a text box in Miro. Oddly it decided to delete everything without knowledge and revert to a previous day’s activity (thinking those same activities happened today).I am unable to find a method to contact Miro support, how can I get my text back?

I need to reallocate board ownership. BUT when I click on the Share button I see this → Unfortunately there’s no option for reallocating ownership here.Is anyone able to help me fix this?

I actually like to pay for the services that I use. It seems fair to me. So hanging out on the free version of Miro doesn’t sit great with me. It SEEMS like the thing to do would be pay the $15/month for a consultant account which would feel good to pay for what I’m currently getting for free, and would be good for me to have extra boards, templates, backups, etc.  All good.  BUT . . . It seems like if I do that, an important feature that I currently get for free would suddenly get VERY expensive. Right now when I run a workshop for a community, I set them up on a board, give them a set of tasks, they can all see each other, by name, moving around and interacting with the board. Then they can keep working with it on their own time as needed ongoing.  Perfect. My understanding is that if I go to the Consultant plan, my clients either can’t edit (maybe - not sure about this?) OR can’t see each other by name (this seems pretty clear).  OR I could pay 30 (community members) X $15 per month

I am copying many cells from excel into Miro, and there are lots of blank cells on different rows and columns which come through as empty sticky notes in Miro. Is there any way to quickly select all empty sticky notes within Miro? Side question, rather than the import from excel coming through as sticky notes is there any way they can come through as rectangles? Thanks in advance,

I am playing with using frames and export to CSV. The information you get in the exported file seems to be ordered around what order you added stuff to the board rather than how it appears visually left to right and top to bottom.  This can get quite confusing when you move stuff around or use copy and paste.  As a test, I tried adding three triangles to a frame and added text to each one, numbering them 1, 2 & 3 respectively.  The first time I exported to CSV they appeared in that order, however when I changed the text in each triangle to now read 2, 1 & 3 respectively left to right, the exported CSV had them number 3, 1 & 2!?  This is going to be really annoying as I want to use the intuitive and visually pleasing GUI Miro offers to do Value Stream Mapping, extracting the text in the process boxes and the data underneath in a grid into Excel for calculation and analysis as I can no longer guarantee that the extracted information is in the same ‘order’ as it appears visual

What is the difference between miro app and miro in a browser?

I know that the paid plans include “unlimited” boards...but how many can really be made and stored in Miro? Can you have...1000? A few thousand? I’m re-tooling my work plan and was planning on trying to break a lot of big boards into lots of boards that only have a couple frames on them…Has anyone made a couple thousand boards and had no issues? Or is that too crazy?
