I have created a group of stickies from client discussions and as I link them together I realize that it would be helpful to connect them into a mind map. Is it possible to easily perform this task? I’ve connected them but when I move them around the connected cards do not move and flow like a mind map which would be helpful.   Thanks, Glenn

Hi, I established already in the forum that I as team admin/owner can’t delete a board which is not owned by me. So the question is now, can I force the ownership of a board to me? Or can I at least going forward restrict who can create boards? I want the users still have the opportunity to edit boards and within the boards, but I do not want them to be able to create them without my approval. Looking forward to hopefully a positive answer. Miro and Zoom : sharing Miro board through new public access feature  I am running a consultant plan since a couple of weeks.  I had several times the same problem: a Miro board link shared through the new public access feature and by using the Zoom chat feature did not appear as an actionable link at my meeting participants. Sometimes sending through e-mail or through Slack worked. 70% of the time I had failures. I set the “can edit” option in the public access to board link. Is this a known error?  Very annoying when you work with a client. Thanks for any advice, hints, work arounds, etc.  

I have a corporate customer and I want to run my presentation skills online-course for this company on Miro board. There will be 41 participants. And this online course will last for 4 weeks. Each participant will have his/her learning trajectory. The new task will appear on board every other day and participants will do their homework in the corresponding frames before the next task appears. Along with the participants there will be 4 of my assistants. Their job will be to help the participants when needed and give them feedback on their work. May be if it works well I will run more courses like this for groups from 5 to 50 people. What plan should I choose? Is “Consultant” a good option for this case?

Hi, I’m new here. I’m a maths teacher. Due to the covid-19 I have to convert my classes to online. I’m looking for a platform that allow me to have whiteboard that have real time collaboration and screen sharing. Screen Sharing in Miro doesn’t share another Chrome Tab. Does Miro have this function? Cause I’m teaching primary student, So i will need to show them some virtual manipulative in another website. Pls advice. Thank you in advance. Stay safe :)

I want to allow people with link to edit a board (together). I’ve just signed up for the consultant plan. I follow the instructions, click on “share” at the top right corner of the board, and only get the option to invite to the team by email. How do I activate the option to share a link?   Thanks!

How do you delete a participant from a board?

I’m setting up the Retro board. Instead of writing notes at the meeting (what worked well, not worked well questions), I’d like the member to fill the note before the meeting without others to read it. Fun Retro app had a text blur setting until the facilitator to reveal it. I was wondering if there is any solution for Miro?

Hi All, Just starting to invite Day Pass users to a Team and we’re finding that when they log in, the first screen they get to is the “Pick a template” screen, if they X out of that, they are on a new Board of their own creation. I find this (as did our first Day Pass user) very disorienting. Is there a way for new users to come directly into the board list view? If not, how do others deal with it? Just include instructions to click out of the template, out of the board, and into the board you’d like them to join? (seems like 2-3 extra steps that virtually every new Day Pass user would need to take.   Also, can you invite Day Pass users just to a board, or do they have to be on a team (with access to all of the boards on that team)?   Thanks in advance,   David

Hi guys,   I wanna run a workshop using a prepared Miro board but I don’t wanna to make all materials visible at the same time and from very beginning. Is somehow possible to have Miro board’s part covered and during a workshops make them visible to the collaborators?   Thanks for the help!   Ania

Is there a way to temporarily freeze and disable participants from freely scrolling around the Miro interface while we’re working on a collaborative project? I would love to be able to temporarily freeze access so that I can keep all participants on the “same page” and focused on one board at a time when necessary. Any insight on how this can be done would be very much appreciated.

I am thinking of using Teamgantt as a project management tool, however I have come to really like the Miro whiteboard concept.  I need both! I want the whiteboard for collaboration and the ability to use the notes/frames/etc. But I am not happy with the Asana or Kaban cards for tracking tasks and status of tasks.  Has anyone used teamgantt?  Can anyone recommend a good task tracker that works with Miro and is not basic, basic.

Hi there, I am kind of a rookie here but I find the toll of great use. Thanks ! My question would be : I am currently on the free plan. There’s a lot of nice features, but I would like to have more than 3 boards and to use projects. But most of the time, I am using Miro alone and sometimes sharing content with people I mentor.  What is the best plan for me, as I pretty much alone in my team (TTeam plan needs 2 users min as weel as the consultant plan); Any advice ? Running a workshop here in the next month and I am trying to find the most user friendly way to enter people’s responses. The issue is this: I have a segment in my workshop where I ask open-ended question. For example, “What are some healthy habits?” I would like even the least tech savvy attendees to be able to enter text. I have tried using stickies but they are quite difficult to use because they require you to double click in a specific spot. Furthermore, the formatting toolbar that appears is unnecessary and could lead to further confusion. Any thoughts on what tools to use?

I’m running a workshop on Wednesday. I’d like to use Miro for participants to put virtual post-its on a board. I don’t want them to have to create an account - I want the experience for them to be as easy as possible for them. (As it is with Jamboard, the other option I might use). Can I do this with the free account? If not, can I use the consultant account?  Which brings me to problem number 2 - I’ve tried signing up for a consultant account, but it only gives the option for 2 consultants or more, and there’s just one of me!   Thanks in advance for your help...

Hey team - Is there a way to expand textboxes like how cards currently do? I’m creating a pretty in-depth timeline for a project and the way cards appear aren’t very helpful since it takes up so much space, the text is extremely small unless you zoom out too far and the title can’t be boldened/formatted. Textboxes are far much more useful for this particular use-case so adding a function to be able to expand it like cards to reveal the same type of area to write notes would be awesome. Pls advise. Thanks! 

Hi all, I have an issue with downloading models and frameworks as pictures.  I always want to export the single models as pictures and if I click on the button export nothing happens beside a continous sign of loading.  Can you help me out with that issue? A screenshot is attended to this blog post.    Thank you very much! By the way: I love the tool!   

I am currently within a team on a FREE plan. I want to have another space, my own space that is for my clients and projects. If I 'upgrade' will i damage the FREE space that the team is working on? (I am not the owner of the FREE space. Will I still be on the that team that holds the FREE space? I need both: 1) to be part of the original team on the FREE plan and 2) create my own CONSULTANT plan space to work on other types of projects.

I’m really confused as I just paid for 3 additional licenses (with me making it a 4 person team).  I received the invoice with a copy of the charge hitting my credit card.  However when I go to add folks to my team it stated that I only had 1 additional full license.  Therefore, I have 2 folks that I can’t add (even though I have an invoice saying I paid for them).   Who can I contact for support?

Hi everyone,   I’ve been using Miro for a couple of months and it’s been great. I wanted to know if there was a drop-down menu feature that I could add to the boards. Basically, when a team member is updating a project, I would like them to be able to choose a status from a drop-down menu that I create. Is this possible to do?   If a feature like this is not available, I know that Miro is now open to developers, correct? How would I go about asking a developer to create a tool like this for me. What would they need know know (coding wise)? This feature and others I have in mind are quite important so I would like to find a way to implement it as soon as possible.
