When I create boards for training, I lock absolutely everything that I don’t want participants to move, because it often happens that new Miro users will accidently move something, and then be completely distracted when they try to figure out how to undo what they did my mistake. My boards can also have a lot of content. I create backgrounds that I lock and put movable items on top of them. Many of you do the same.Locking things and then unlocking them again to modify, rearrange, or adjust them takes a lot of time. It’s not effective to drag-select multiple items to lock them when you have many things mixed in that you don’t want to move. And I want to lock the frames too, of course.Another difficulty with locking and unlocking many items in a bulk lock is when I might want to unlock and adjust only a few items leaving most of the board safely locked. So I end up Shift-clicking on dozens of objects to lock them, in batches or at once.Has anyone discovered any tricks or best practices f

Hello,Despite having “show collaborators’ cursors” enabled in my board preferences and “show cursors” enabled as well, I can’t see the cursors.But my collaborators can acutally see mine and others cursors as well on my own board.If I open my board in a private tab (I’m using Chrome) cursors are showing on my own board. If I go on my collaborators’ board I can see their cursors.The problem is only affecting my boards and my own vision but I can’t find anything beside the two options I already enabled.  Anyone as the answer for this ? :(Thank you.

Hello, my team is working with big and complex process maps/diagrams in Miro. Sometimes we need to add some steps into the process map after it is mostly finished. However, in that case, it would mean we have to adjust the rest of the map manually to fit the shape and it can destroy the whole map and connectors etc., especially because we also use swimlanes.Do you know if there is some more elegant way to adjust it more automatically?In ideal word, the way I imagine it could work would be like a duplication of the shape including the connector and spacing I guessThanks for any ideas! :) 

I have an issue that started with this board yesterday (1/14/26) were is is auto scrolling far away from my diagram and wont let me recenter the flow so that I can view/update the diagram. I have researched a few things on my own and came up with this list:The board auto-scrolls uncontrollably to extreme coordinates.Content appears briefly in board history but becomes inaccessible.Ctrl+A selects nothing, and the issue persists after copying to a new board.Likely a corrupted object with invalid coordinates.Here is the board url:  

Hello!I have encountered a problem with the boards’ names dissappering the moment I open them: they are visible at the top, but no longer such in the project. If i close a board, i cannot open it unless I restart the miro app. This problem does not appear on a browser version, it seems to be only on the app, with  completely reinstalling the app clean not helping.

Hi there,Ive looked around the forum but still can’t resolve this. I’m a team admin on a free plan. There’s three boards I no longer use and there doesn’t appear to be an option to delete? I also want to delete the three team members assocaited with these boards and that’s showing as a bug. See screengrab.Please help! Thanks. p.s. Tried chrome extensions, incognito browser etc.  

Hello Miro Support Team,I am currently working with the Miro API and using the "Update card item" endpoint (PATCH https://api.miro.com/v2/boards/{board_id}/cards/{item_id}) to manage card details. My goal is to remove the current assignee from a card. However, I have tried setting the assigneeId to null, an empty string, and even omitting the field entirely, but none of these approaches seem to unassign the card.Could you please advise if there is a supported method for unassigning a card via the API? If not, is there a planned update to allow this functionality? Any guidance or workaround you can provide would be greatly appreciated.Thank you for your help.Best regards,Syrnikov Pavel

I am a Team Admin, but every time I try to delete other members I see the message “Something went wrong...”I tried to do it in incognito mode, I tried deleting cookies, but the same message appears.Hope you can help me with this bug.Julia

Hi Everyone, Till, yesterday, I could write with my pen on my surface and things nicely appear on my board and now suddenly when I choose my pen to write , I can only draw straight line!!!!How can I resolve this issue please.

I am unable to move Jira cards into sections on the Miro timeline. I can move them out of the grouped sections but cannot move them in.

I see numerous people have asked for this and you close every single one of their request as a duplicate and yet you still haven’t done anything about it. This should be industry-standard to give your users an option to not go blind using your product.

Hello,When I created the account with my work email I was suggested to join a team from my company. Since I found my team in the list I joined. I created a new board and worked on it.Then I checked that the team I joined was old - I am not sure if they are in this company anymore or not, but they are no longer in my team. And the Team Admin was definitely not working here anymore.So I decided to leave. I thought me being the owner of a board would be enough to be able to get to it later. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. I lost access to the board even though I am the owner.How can I get it back? It was more than  days works to set it up. I am also on free plan.

This is not a “wishlist” idea, this is a proper complaint.After all these years, Miro board still lagging so much ti makes it unbearable to continue working like this. I mean, paying for a business account and not having fundamentals it’s ridiculous at this point.Either I use the desktop app or the web app, either it’s my home internet connection or the office, the lag is still there. Switching windows is always making Miro boards “reconnect” and wait until everything is loaded again and again and again.On top of that, god forbid I am on a video call and I load a Miro board, is going to make everything crush for a moment. Again, either the desktop app or the web app.We love Miro for what it is, so please fix that so we can continue loving it.

Is it possible to remove this blue Prototype button? It gets in the way all the time when working with small icons and opens a large popup when accidentally clicked. 

i am a new member , having difficulty navigating you site , watched all 7 learning video , can`t get back to it, also was looking for the weekly swing list can`t find it, i watched the zoom today was  great experience, tried, to massage, idon`t know why  my message was erased multiple time , is it a way to talk with somebody on the phone to help navigate the site ? thanks  

I just had a brief collaborative session with a remote colleague on a board. We were working on a diagram.We used text boxes to ask questions and explain our ideas. It seemed counterintuitive to work this way as it created a mess.Have I missed a chat feature or any other way to have this quickfire discussion on the board? Or is a Teams call at the same time the best way forward?

Hi! After the year changed, I haven’t been able to add new boards to spaces. I see the + sign in the right corner but it’s unclickable. When I click “Home” I see the shortcut “Blank board”. This creates a new board but it’s not assigned to any space yet.I’m the company admin in our Enterprise environment. There shouldn’t be any access right issues. Has anyone else experience the same? I’ve tried Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome browsers.

I had to downgrade to a free account after getting laid off. My account says I have 37 boards (34 view only) but i cannot find the 3 editable boards. When on the Home page, I only see view only boards. How do I get to my 3 editable boards?

It is not possible to delete a user from a project. Am a Team Admin. 

Can anybody help? I just signed up to Miro so I could create some boards for a project, part of a UX Design Course I am taking. However after signing up and going to Miro, all I see is a blank space. There are no boards, no ability to create a new board, and no sidebar to give me any other options. It’s like the relevant content is being blocked. I literally cannot start or use anything in Miro. I have blocked any extentions in my browser, deleted my cache and history, tried on multiple browsers, in cognitto mode, tried on both Mac and PC, and yet there are no boards and no sidebar, or ‘create’ button anywhere to be seen. Either on the desktop (browser) or app version, and after restarting my PC. Miro is free so I shouldn’t need to be invited by a team. I should be able to just jump in and create a board, so this is very puzzling. I don’t believe there are any technical reasons on my side stopping this from working. I don’t even have access to an account/ billing page within my profile
