Hello everyone, I hope your day is good.I have a doubt, I have a miro premium license for ~50 users.But I want to know if free restricted users can edit finished boards, move cards and write, just that, or do I have to pay to do that? RegardsRangel

Hi, I have access to an education plan through UAL (University of the Arts) I have tons of boards there but I dont want to depend on the university so i want to move all my board to my personal account. However, when trying to upgrade my personal account it says that I have 13 team members and if i want to be able to pay less i need to delete the team members. but this is IMPOSSIBLE. I tried to log in in my personal account which is the “team admin” and delete people and it never works. not sure if my two account university and personal are interlinked but it has been impossible to delete people and right now I am getting very frustrated with miro as a product and how difficult is to get support. NONE of the EXTREMELY GENERIC articles i have read has the answer. Can I just talk/email to a human being? I feel trapped as I really need all my boards (including my thesis) but i dont see any options but paying so please take my money. i just dont think is fair to pay for 13 people that i do

I am trying to create breakout rooms within a Miro board so that I can divide the participants into smaller groups and send them to different areas of the board.  I can read in the Miro help Center that there is suppose to be a Breakout icon/function to support this, but I simply do not have this icon in my Miro app and I cannot find any info if it is a function I have to install or similar. Does anyone know how I can create this type of Breakout groups? 

I use OBS Studio to manage my workshops video-wise. Miro app just can’t see the virtual cameras I create with OBS Studio. Is there a way to do it? I can do it in Miro when used in the browser, though. Thanks in advance! lux

Hello, Inside my Miro frame, I have comments that are related to objects inside that frame, so when extending the frame I don’t expect those comments to move, but when trying to extend the frame to fit more objects, the comments are moving and it requires me to move each comment accordingly which makes my job much harder:  Is there any way to prevent comments from moving?Thanks​​​​​​

We are on the Consultant plan. One of our guests needs to export the board for a presentation. The guest does have editing rights, but the export option is not present.I have not found an option to allow exporting for guests on the board.Is there something I am missing?

I want to suspend a user or forcibly disconnect a session if a terminal is lost.If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know. 

Is there a way to find out how much data each of my boards is using? I’ve no idea whether a board full of post its uses vast amounts of data, whether using less images or docs inside would use less etc.We are trying to understand how much data we use as a company and would like to monitor our data usage. 

I’m trying to use Miro as a frontend for a domain-specific modelling language. As part of this, I have two language features I’m struggling to realize:Image with editable text below. Add icon/shape to the top left corner of an reactangle and treat them as one item.When I use Miro directly, I can simply group the items and it mostly works:Only downside of using grouping for this, is that you have to use double clicks to select the sub-item of the grouping and that users can ungroup, but that is managable.I know grouping is on the roadmap and I’ve already upvoted it.Nonetheless, I have multiple questions:Is there any way to create such composite shapes with the current Web SDK or REST API? Any idea when grouping may become part of the Web SDK or REST API? Grouping is just a workaround (which I would be happy to use). Ideally, one could directly create composite shapes using parent-child-relations, that cannot be altered by users. Is anything like this planned in the future?  

Hi, so today a few fellow students and I found out that our professor removed us from the team he invited us to for several classes. On it were several boards we made ourselves and that we need for classes that are still ongoing. We also have deadlines relevant for said classes coming up in just half a month. There was a lot of work put into those boards and now we find out they are apparently gone/deleted when he removed us from the team.In the trashbin it says that we are able to restore boards up to 30 days after deletion, but we can’t access the team right now. Is there any way to get them back? If we click on links to the lost boards, it just tells us that the board was deleted and to „contact the owner to restore the board“..

Despite my best troubleshooting efforts, I’ve been unable to get out of this loop while trying to disable the Miro Desktop app pop-up when opening a board.I’ve followed the instructions for Windows/Chrome users here: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019244239-How-to-disable-Miro-Desktop-app-pop-up-in-your-browser#h_01FK085N92TC1GYS5JYCEKDZBFThe best result I can get is that I get a new Miro pop-up every time I open a board (see image) which also makes things slow.This is after I deleted the app, ran the registry clean-up and removed the https://miro.com {“miroapp”:true} from the Preferences file.Can anyone help me out on this?  

I have lost content yet it shows on map - Any ideas how to restore? (no restore function on board history available)  

We’ve been using the parentFrameId parameter in our code for two years but today it has stopped working.Previously, we were able to create widgets inside frames so their position when created was predictable. Now the new widgets appear in an unknown position and have to be searched all over the board to be used.Is this due to some problem in the API or is an update and will work like this from now on?

Hello everyoneI've been developing the Kobi application for a few months now, using the BottomBar as a tool to select the app’s main functions.The code I use is almost identical to what is published in the sdk 1.1 documentation (see code in appendix). I recently installed a plugin: https://github.com/GreenAsh/code-highlighterSince then I’ve noticed judder/delays like when selecting or moving objects, even on fresh boards with few elements. I’ve tried to uninstall the plugin to see if this is the problem but I cannot see any way of doing this. I’m a little bit stuck because Miro is barely-usable and i have no way of getting back into a default state.

Relatively new to Miro and using a Design Sprint template for an upcoming design sprint. For some reason there is a blank pop up window on the bottom right corner of the screen (see attachment) which does not respond to me clicking the ‘X’ close button. It blocks off a good chunk of the window which will make using the product with my team over zoom just a bit more difficult. How can I get rid of this?Mac OS, Google Chrome, Adblock off.

Hi would appreciate any support with this. I have a specific board that I was working on through the web browser, before switching to the app which now I cannot access. It seems the problem occurred after the app attempted to refresh and update the data. I have completed all of the steps in the support guides, including a VPN, refreshing the page, clearing cache, incognito mode and clearing app data on the Windows app. None of which have worked. Other boards seem able to load, but this one is stuck on the loading screen and also still states that I am present on the board (I am not). I have also attempted to duplicate with no success. I am the owner of the board.I see others are experiencing a similar issue. Thanks in advance. 

Hello all, I’m in an urgent situation, as I can’t load a Miro page I’ve been working on and have a deadline.The dashboard loads. It seems most pages load.I’ve tried different networks, hotspots.I’ve tried loading the page from my phone, application and web.I’ve restarted and deleted all cache.  Can anyone help me?! Thanks so much.

I am trying to open it but it does not work. It is charging but does not show me all the board information. I only can see this information.It happens all the time, since last week.
