With Miro having infinite board space how does everyone decide on what topics/projects/ideas warrant having their own boards vs grouping many topics/projects/ideas into bigger ‘master, boards?I’m really keen to understand how others decide what becomes a Miro ‘team’ or ‘project’ - at the moment we have one team for our agency with clients having multiple project boards but I’m exploring each client having a single project with loads in it!What does everyone else do?

I started following the new version of the Miro SDK at the start of this year. It seemed promising and was a good redesign, more streamlined and concise than the existing one.To my surprise version 2 of the API was released already this spring and version 1 was deprecated. The surprise comes from the fact that V2 is missing core functionality being in V1:User events (a small subset of the events in V1 are lately introduced to V2) Line drawingOther important functionality also missing are:Emoji (which probably can be replaced by Image, but this is inconvenient and costly) Metadata (which was destroyed and only partly fixed in V1)There is a roadmap page for planned(?) functionality. The page does not contain any commitments nor has it any plan for implementation. No items of the “feature request” tab has gone to “in progress” since I started following it.I am working on an application for factory optimization using Miro as the user interface. It's nice that your Figma>Miro plugin will import a PNG of selected Figma Frames into Miro, and update that PNG if I revise the original in Figma and resync it back to Miro.But I need to update ALL instances of that Figma PNG in Miro, and not just the 1st instance.For example, let's say that in Miro I want 3 instances of that same original Figma Frame (eg. a Homepage screen) in 3 separate places on the Miro board, so I make 2 more copies and put them where I want.If I update the Homepage screen in Figma, then sync it back to Miro, it only updates the original Homepage, but not the other 2 copies. This is different from how the Sketch>Miro plugin works, which updates very instance that is copied in Miro and I love that so I always know the latest Homepage design shows for every copy in Miro.Is it possible to make the Figma>Miro plugin function the say way? This is critical for my Sketch-to-Figma transition because I still use Miro to host all my massive screen matrix charts and

I have a board that contains multiple frames. Each frame has content within it.  When I export to image, the content inside the frames shows up, but not the frames or their labels. Is there a way to export a whole board so that the frames are visible in the export?   Thanks. 

I have a team and members in that team. I would want to create boards and need to control who can see and edit which board.Example I want user A,B to see and edit Board X and users B,C,E to see and edit Board Y and so on. How can I achieve this?  

Miro is using insane amount of CPU on my Intel iMac. I have 4 Miro boards open, and each is using avg 200% CPU.This is pretty insane, merely 4 tabs is using 50% of my 10 core CPU. Anyone else experiencing this? This makes Miro a no-go for my team as not all of us have a beefy computer.

Hi,I am assessing Miro for use in our online training.Our training uses specific icons / Shapes to represent specific idea’s and imagery. Currently the use physical versions of these and send to all our participants for use in the training. This is expensive in many ways.I am looking to use this platform to replace these physical shapes with digital ones that the participants and the hot can use concurrently.Can our original files be imported into Miro for this concurrent use.An added benefit would be the ability to use these in Zoom breakout rooms and take them back into the main area for use in group discussions.Thanks in advance for any input into this. SimonPhysical representation of what we are planning digitally:

Hi, A team at my company created a separate Miro account using the free version. I have now created a team for them in our paid company subscription and want to move some boards across. How do I do this? I don’t see a “move to team” option.I am a company admin if that has any bearing. 

Hi, I’m making lecture videos using Miro and Zoom’s local recording function. It worked very well, and I love this combination. But from yesterday (28 April), I’ve been experiencing a "Syncing... Please wait \\ Receiving a response from the server. We recommend that you wait ** sec to avoid data loss." panel repeatedly appearing on the Miro app. I tried the web-browser app, another net connection, different time slots (morning, daytime, evening, midnight). What does this message mean? Is this a server-side problem, or some performance issue in my environment? is there any way to avoid it? Miro 0.3.32 on MacOS 10.12.6, iMac late 2012 Core i7, 32GB memory

I lost all my work I did on the Miro App which I download to my Apple Mac. I am working from an area with bad internet connectivity and I could thus not work in the cloud. I though working on the app downloaded on my harddrive would be the way to do it.After a few hours of develop the workflow of my new online programme it all disappeared. No syncing took place due to bad internet connectivity and now I cannot see my work anymore. Just a blank miro board. I have 2 questions;How can I retrieve my work? How can I ensure that this does not happend again?  

I run the Miro app on my 2020 iPad 10.2” (38GB). I have used the app without issues for the last 2 years.However, now when I load a board in the app (it’s a quite large board) - the board loads slowly, then just before its done, it reloads. And again, and again.Other seeming heavy apps work fine.I have also tested the board on a 2022 iPad Mini and there it loads fine. So the issue seems to be the combination of Miro and the iPad. The iPad should be able to handle the load.I cannot clear the cache, only deleted or clean the app (which is basically deleting it).I upgraded to latest iOS and had it on both versions.Curious if anybody else also has this and what they did to solve it. As a trainer I rely on the app on my ipad in order to draw etc with my Pencil.

I accidentally closed out mid giving access to my google account to use google drive... now i get an error when I try to use the google drive upload.  How can I fix this to give it correct permissions again?

While creating the wireframe app screens, some of the screens have more content and lengthy. I would like to show the full content by displaying a long wireframe. However, I can’t seems to drag the app wireframe template to adjust the length unlike the browser template. Is there any way to do this?   

Our small company, HP Inc 😀, is beginning our adventures in greater collaboration with MIRO and this application looks amazing.  Unfortunately, when we started out this week, I couldn’t add my staff as members to our team.  The Invite Team Members button is not visible.  I was able to invite them to a board as users with some challenges, but I need them added to the team so they can access more boards that our team have or will have in the future.Any help the technical team can provide would be greatly appreciated.Steve

Hi! When I scan pages from a magazine or a textbook, the images are great but any text becomes completely white like it’s filtered out. Is there a feature I need to disable or is this to prevent plagiarism? 

For some reason nothing in the help or the interface tutorial teaches me what this is. What is it?   

Hi all/MiroSaw this video: The video shows (00:28) someone clicking OneDrive in Teams, I have tried many things but no matter what, it does not show in Teams, it works from your app and website.Question: Is this option removed by an update? Would be nice with all options working from TeamsThanks Jacob

I have problems adding Miro to Trello. I have integrated them, but nothing happends when I want to add something from Miro in Trello… Nothing opends when I push the Miro-button in Trello…? 

I’ve been experiencing this for an hour now. Miro is just loading and loading but never loads in. Just checked status page shows everything is up and running but I still cannot load in anything. Thanks for the help. 

Hi, support@help.miro.com isn’t not a valid adress. How can I report a bug if I don’t have a paid account ? Since yesterday the dashboard and boards are not loading anymore on Chrome. I tried everything from this article https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017731413-Bugs-troubleshooting It's working on a private Chrome page and on Microsoft Edge however I cannot work with that browser on a daily basis. Also when the board cannot be open in the browser, a new tab cannot even be openned in the windows app. I have saved the log files however, since free account cannot open a ticket.Does it means that from now on I would only be able to access to my board in a private Chrome tab? Please let me know what can you do  Kind regards

Hi there,I am trying to upload an app icon that is not black filled but has just the outlines. I created a shape with some text and when I have the shape selected I get the ‘create comment’ option. When I create the comment from that shape then move the shape, the comment does not follow. When I look at my comment there is not a reference to what object the comment belongs to.I do not want to use sticky notes or pin it, I use comments to see detail info I do not want cluttering the board with a lot of text.Should be functionality that allows you to keep the comment associated to the object and when you move an object it moves with it.Anyone know how to do this?

Curious if any Miro community members out there are attending Smartsheet Engage next week; would be great to kick it at the conference, geeking out on solutions achieved via the two platforms (and whatever else you use in your technology stack).
