Admin is no longer in the company - we do not have a solution

Our only Miro admin is no longer in the company, and no one can remove him from the account and grant admin access to any other team member.I've been trying to get help for almost a month now, and the only time they got back to me was to say that we have to ask the admin; we don't have that option and do not have a solution.

How can I open the miro api properly? What mean allowlist?

Hi, there! I want to use miro api, but I could not get it to work.My console always shows this text ~Domain '*****.io' is not in allowlist. Reason is domainNotInAllowList~ when my app open miro api. What is that mean? How can I open the miro api properly?I coded the code in 👇page and I could move “miroBoardsPicker.open();” and opened this tab. Editable boards for not registered users (miro.com) Regards.

Team plan and 500 users as editors?

Hey!I have a team plan and want to use Miro for some parts of a big online conference. We got far more registrations than we anticipated - maybe about 600 will join in. I have read about max people invited as editors are 300 if there should not be to much lagging? Does somebody have fresh experiences themselves, to share? Can I with my type of account have an unlimited no of users/invites to one board? Are there anyway to add-on for more capacity? Thanks!David Ershammar

Is there a book with the printouts/Paperback of the existing templates that I could buy ?It's very useful to go over all the existing templates having a book to study from.I could print also, but is there already a book or PDF with all consolidated?thanks

Does Mira embed well in Gather.town?

Hi,We've gotten a large number of requests about people wanting the ability to embed Mira on a white board inside of https://Gather.town (a platform that allows you to create your own private office or event space inside a 2D virtual world with proximity-based video chatting). It seems the policy that embedment only works on enterprise plans based on this post: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016335640-Embedding-Editable-Boards-into-Websites Is there anywhere to see or test how well the embedment works or allow others to test it out without being on the enterprise plan? Is there a demo board that can be embeded? Or would Mira be willing to redirect to a "oops sorry" page whenever people see a "refuse to connect" message?

Is it possible to pull (and retain connection) to images on my personal web domain so they auto update on Miro board?

Hey Guys! :)I am looking to be able to pull images from a single source on my own server that when updated feed the changes through to the Miro board without needing to do any manual adjustments. Is this possible?

Auto size shape based on text contents

I’m trying to have a shape with a static font size but make the shape itself automatically expand vertically to accommodate the text entered. This is going to be a board that I’m using for a brainstorming session, and many people are going to be entering text into different shapes at the same time. I want to avoid:people having to resize shapes differing font size from one shape to another text being cut off at the bottom of a shapeHere’s what happens currently when the text exceeds the size of the shape:What I want to have happen is have the shape get taller (instead of having a down arrow to indicate that there is more text than the shape can accommodate).

Browser page within miro

Is there a way to add web pages as a frame or objects and interacting with the page directly within miro? Not clicking on the link and opening in a new window.That will be super useful to have multiple web pages accessible and editable within a single board.Thanks

Can I set a preferred navigation mode for those viewing?

If I am conducting a meeting, most people will be joining the meeting on a device with a mouse. Can I set Miro to where the first choice of navigation is “mouse”?Miro changed desktop PC to trackpad navigation for a client that is not computer savvy. I needed to teach them how to participate using a mouse. In this case, I was trying to give a quick presentation but we spent too much time (any is too much) on navigation. If I could set a navigation default, that would alleviate potential meeting-killer moments. Luckily I did not have the main client today.

Flickering black screen

HiWe were trying to test out a workshop in Miro yesterday.And one of the users had a problem with the screen almost flickering and going black when someone was typing.Anyone had this issue before or does anyone know what could be the source of this problem?

Duplicating boards for one free account and one paid

Hi guys,I love Miro - I have it for my personal use but I recently got my company to agree to paying for my a corporate account. My issue is that I created a lot of company related content on my private account, and I now I need to duplicate that work in my corporate account. The issue is that when I share the board with my corporate account it has access to other boards in my personal account. What’s the paid way to solve this?Thanks in advance for your help! Billing for users who have access to one board

Firstly, the account area of Miro is one of the most confusing I’ve ever used - so this has probably been asked numerous times already, so apologies for that!I am a freelance consultant who works for numerous clients. I have created a board, and shared this board (comment only) to 8 other email addresses. When I log into my account section, under ‘Active users’, I just see myself - but there is also a notification which says “1 member below is in the team. And 8 other users have access to some boards in this team.”My questions are:Will I be billed for these 8 other people? They have comment only rights…And, where can I check to see this information. Would they appear as team members if I was to be billed?Thanks!

Background images vs Miro shapes&text

I use Miro a lot for teaching and for large group events. I have noticed if I have many frames within one file then Miro can take long to do the initial load and can be a bit laggy. So when I say many frames, then I am talking about maybe having some common elements for the whole class and then frames for each and every breakout group to work on. I do not want to break this up into multiple boards (files), I like to be able to have a good overview of the work of all groups and I want everyone to easily be able to scan over work of the whole class.Sometimes I have created the design of the boards in Figma and then imported those as either PNG or SVG into miro and then just added in Miro the sticky notes and other elements the studentes need to be able to edit. Other times I create everything in Miro from scratch. I am wondering if anyone knows what is a better option here? I am thinking mostly of the size of the board, meaning is a frame like this smaller (in bytes) if I would create al

Call a group of participants to me

Hi! while running a workshop, we will split participants into 4 difference groups. Each groupe will have it own facilitator. Is it possible for a facilitator to call a group of 5 people? I know that we can call all the participants to where we are, we can also call a specific participant, but can we create groups of specific participants? Thank you

Linking Miro Boards

I’m using Miro to develop, workshop and house consumer journeys. I’d like to use Miro as the home for my journey atlas as well, but to do that, I need to be able to embed links in the master journey board that link to other boards. I can’t find a way to do that - has anyone come up with a workaround or found a way to do it via Miro?

Emoji not displayed in Windows 10 app

I am a fairly new user of Miro and am switching between the web-based and Windows 10 apps. When attempting to add emoji in the app, they are not displayed, but if I switch to the web view, they are there.

Saving boards as templates with voting, voting not transferring over?

Hi all, I am working on facilitating multiple workshops and have created a template that allows for voting on several of the frames. My trouble is when I save this as a template and pick it up in a new board all of the voting functionality disappears! Not sure if this is user error however I think it would be extremely useful to be able to create templates where everything works the same as the original (including links to frames etc in the board). This is especially important when running 10-15 of the same workshop. Looks like I may need to go in and manually add the voting to each of the new boards which is a tad frustrating and time consuming!TIA love this community :)

Is there a way to merge members?

We are currently paying for multiple members (seats) who have two different email addresses. They where both added with one email address and then they where added again with their new email addresses. If I delete their old email addresses will they lose access to those boards under their original address?
