I created a free board on Web White Board by Miro and the 24h have passed so it's locked. We are looking for a way to have our PO or Dev Manager set up to be able to set permissions for a board in case the board owner no longer works here or is not available. (For instance, we have someone out now on a family emergency for several days and we need edit access to his Miro board, but it seems our Team Admins don't have that ability to grant access to boards.
Short version:Lots of issues with GIFs. Have witnessed many GIF related changes over the past months that are dramatically affecting my teams experience with Miro as a tool.Long Version:I’m an art lead on a game development team. We are using Miro to share and review animation. Due to various quirks with embedding video we’ve been using gifs for the past year+ in Miro - they allow you the easiest method to 1. swiftly drag/drop an image on a board, 2. view a short clip of animation while staying in the board (not having to navigate away). 3. See a reference image, so at glance you know what you are about to watch. 4. Being able to view two animations side by side for contrast/comparison/critique. Over the past couple months we’ve seen pretty dramatic changes to how gifs are handled. Its been frustrating. GIF size limitation dropped to 5mb which broke entire boards and prevented review sessions (only to notice this had changed a few weeks later after we had dramatically tried to downsiz
My company is already questioning the cost of our Miro so no way am I able to upgrade my account just to get the ERD shapes. All I want is something that looks like this… which is straight from the Miro website but NOT available in a template. I just spent WAY too long trying to find this shape I was able to copy this version from the ERD template… but I don’t want the “Key” column. HOW DO I DELETE A COLUMN IN THIS??? Why is such a simple shape that would make Miro a lot more valuable to me something that is withheld behind an upgrade???
I have been working on a rather large mind map and collapsed a set of nodes. Now they won't expand. I click on the number and nothing happens. I have tried this in the browser and the app, and on different devices. It is not locked. I tried locking and unlocking. Any ideas on how to fix this?Thank you,Heather
I have a number of boards that I’m the owner of, yet today I’m no longer able to edit or move the text on my connection lines. Double clicking on the connection line or its text just creates a new text. If I remove the existing connection line and replace it with a new one, I can edit and move the connection line’s text just fine, but the label on any existing connection line is just frozen. This is both in the macOS client and in the web interface.
Hello, i have a strange question. we have 2 workspaces within our Miro World. One where we have everything and another for processes etc. in our processes workspace, we don’t want people to edit however we want them to be able to copy the boards out. The issue we are encountering is basically when someone copies a board it saves to their “personal board” that’s great, but is there a way to force them to save in our MAIN workspace and not the processes personal board? thanks
Hi,I realise this question has been asked in the Community, however the answer doesn’t work for me. So, I’m hoping this request will help me.I have a free account, that was once a paid account. While it was a paid account, I allowed people where I worked to make boards. Before leaving the company, I downgraded the plan to be free, and removed myself from any boards where I had access.I’ve just logged in, and people at my old work, are making boards in my free account. How does this happen - are they accessing using my email? How do I change it? They seem to be working under a business account - how is it that I can see their boards? I can view their boards, and for some I am an editor too, but I am not an owner. Some boards have this message on them: Others, I simply have access to.I just want their boards gone. But, I don’t want to lose my account, or my boards. Please help me fix this.
I have JIRA card integration working between JIRA and MIRO. It’s terrific. All the fields are showing, with the fields in the context area being ordered higher. But after scrolling past the context area fields, the order of the fields in the JIRA card don’t resemble the field layout defined in JIRA. While this may seem to be a small issue, we have alot of custom fields and the entry in one custom field, drives what gets entered in other custom fields. The order of fields in the workflow of the issue is important.Does anyone know what defines the order of custom fields in the JIRA card within MIRO ?
Hello, I use miro on my pc with a Wacom One board and pen. Since around the middle of november a keyboard popup has begun appearing every time I use any of the ‘pencil’ tools (pen, highlighter, eraser) selecting them with the Wacom pen. It dosn’t happen using the mouse. Is this an update or a bug? How do I disable this option? I’m constantly closign the popup and it’s very annoying and distracting. Thanks,Serena Bucelli
Hey, I was invited to Miro to join a team by my client. I loved the tool and planned to explore more but I am unable to create a “free team”. I am always prompted to buy a plan if I try and add a team.I am part of existing teams and can’t leave them, is there a way by which I can create my own team? Thanks
My PDFs display fine when I open them on Acrobat or Bluebeam but when I upload to Miro there always seems to be something off, like some of the hatches (large coloured regions) go missing randomly. The pdf quality is fine though. Has anyone experienced this issue and have a fix?
Hi everyone,I’m having an issue where the Vimeo videos embed in my Miro boards do not play back any sound - I’ve tested their embed codes using a test site (http://www.csgnetwork.com/htmlcodetest.html) and it works there, so it seems like possible an issue with Miro? Can anyone help?As a side issue, the embedded player also isn’t showing the player controls - related?Thanks!

HI All, Really struggling. I have a frame with 3 blocks of colour… I am building a map across these 3 blocks of colour but the shapes are different colours when they are on top of the 3 different colours. How do I stop the the underlying block colour affecting the top block colour. The blocks are Opaque and I dont want them the true solid colour Any help with be great
Good day, There is no way I can find to contact miro directly as it sends me to the community so I need help.I am a member of a team of rough 25 staff who has access to a team called “x”The admin assigned has left in 2018 so I cannot remove members or change admin rights / permissions. I have been assigned to remove inactive users/members but can only do so as admin. As there is no way to contact the admin assigned to change ownership I am stuck with multiple people being able to access information that I cannot change. Surely there is a way to remedy this
