The plugin with figma is no longer working. I’ve used it various times, it worked successfully. Recently, it’s been flagging this error - no matter what I try to pull through.

I’ve tried reducing the size of elements, attempting to pull through with other images in case the files were corrupted in some way, opening new figma file and trying to pull new things through there, and it still doesn’t work.

Not sure how to proceed but this is severely impacting my team and workflow, we use figma to centralise our work and I can’t even pull through designs anymore.

Hi @Torimcalinden
Sorry for this experience. It seems it may be a firewall / VPN issue. There are some corporate vpns who disable may impact this app by default.

Could you please check the following:

  1. check if https://figma.svc.miro.com/auth/tokens-stream can be accessed (login not required)

  2. if not accessible, firewall/vpn needs to whitelist  content-type: text/event-stream and figma.svc.miro.com

Let me know f it helps.

I am not on a corporate VPN, but rather a home network and having the same issue. I can access the tokens-stream URL but I cannot select any boards with the Miro plugin for Figma. I get the same error in the referenced screenshot above.

Hi @ClassyUX,

Thank you for sharing your experience, and I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re facing with the Figma-Miro plugin.

I’ve got an update from the team regarding this issue. We're currently in the process of completely revamping our integration platform. This overhaul aims to not only address the current bugs but also introduce more reliable and feature-rich integrations, including Figma.

The new platform will make it easier and more seamless to connect Miro with your other tools, improving both usability and stability. While we understand this causes inconvenience for now, these changes will bring greater value and a much-improved experience in the long run.

We really appreciate your patience and support during this transition. If you need further assistance, I recommend reaching out to support teams directly as they have more information on their side.

I don’t know what I did but after messing around for a bit I was able to get Figma connected to the right Miro board, and I was able to sync a frame to my board. It would not be difficult to export a png and put it on the board, but it is nice to be able to keep an element in sync as I update and change boards.

I will wait until the revamp because this feature is trash.

I have found after getitng it to work that if you do ANYTHING to your image in Miro after synchronizing it in Figma — it completely breaks the link between your Figma frame and the linked Miro image.

If you resize it in Miro — broken.
If you copy and paste the image — broken.
The only thing you can do is MOVE the image around but you can’t resize it or manipulate it in any way or the link between that image in Miro and Figma is now broken.

It is just easier to export a PNG from Figma and drop it into Miro at this point.

Nice try I guess, but the feature doesn’t work.

Hey!

Any ETA for this to be fixed?

Regards

Hi @Mateusz Gidaszewski

Thanks for your note. We don’t publish timelines but you can track changes to features via the Miro changelog: https://miro.com/changelog/

This plugin hasn’t worked in months and I just lost about 15minutes trying to get it to work before finding this thread. Please pull this plugin from the market and availability until the issues are sorted vis-a-vis “completely revamping our integration platform”

Keeping it live while it doesn’t work just leaves a lot of people trying futilely to get it running.
