Video chat doesn't work in app

The videochat does not work properly in miro app. Either I can start a videochat, than I can see myself, but not the other person or it works the other way around: He starts the chat, but than it`s only him shown. Means, the app is not managing to send an receive a picture at the same time. Is this problem known? Thank you for help. Johanna

Invoicing for Team with less than 10 members

Hi dear, since our Miro cost will be charged on a financed project, we would need to clearly track all expenses, providing invoices and proofs of payment. So I was wondering how invoicing would work for a 9 members team (knowing that self-serve invoicing is available just for 10+ team): Will I (as team admin) receive anyway an invoice from Miro or not? If not, how the payment process would happen? The post-payment invoice will be still available also for our (small) team? Thank you!

Has anybody tried Jitsi Meet? - Any ways for cooperation? Experience comparison zoom vs Jitsi

Hello, I know that you are working closely together with zoom here in miro. I discovered Jitsi Meet.https://jitsi.org/jitsi-meet/ It is open source. So my question is: Could this be an alternative for you at miro? And the second question: Has anybody worked with this? How does it compare to zoom? Does it offer the same quality? Michael

Sharing editable board using Education License

Hello! I am on Education License, but it seems like I can't share my board with public and enable those with the sharing link to Edit the board anymore. Is there something wrong?

Export Card Details

I have a Miro board that has all of the details on cards within the board. How can I export the details that are part of Cards to a PDF or an Excel spreadsheet? All that I get in an export is the summary view of the card. I need to archive the boards on a weekly basis but without the detail on the cards the export to a PDF is not useful. The board backup functionality won’t work for our purpose - we need to be able to share the details with people who won’t have access to our board and we don’t want to restore a backup in order to view past information. Thanks for any help you can give!

Screen Sharing reboot when trying to activate video

Yesterday I used the Screen Sharing function and it worked perfectly, though the app rebooted when I clicked on the Video conference icon. My partner tried it too and he had the same issue. I don’t know if it’s a bug or what it’s going on? I tried it on the Miro App installed on a Mac. Thanks :)

Is there a way to link a file in the saved folder without putting to on the board?

I uploaded a file to the ‘saved folder’. It seems that I can only link the file if its on the board. Is there a way to link a file in the saved folder without putting to on the board? And if so, how? More detail: Im using this board as a production/workflow. So I would like to add proposals to each box. It would be a lot of proposals sitting on the board that I think are unnecessary if I can link to them in the saved folder.

[RESOLVED] Sketch plugin: error during syncing

When I try to export my artboards from sketch to board Miro using plugin by Miro I have always error (screen attached below). I have no idea why that appear although plugin recently pretty good worked. I need help how to solve the problem. Perhaps do you know similar analog of plugin for sketch? I will be grateful for any help, thanks.

Miro Plugin Sketch for Sketch - Unable to sync to specific Board

Hey everyone, I’m a Miro newb and have accounted an issue I can’t quite rectify - hopefully someone can explain to me what I’m doing wrong. After selecting the artboards in my Sketch file I want to import into my Miro board, I select the Miro for Sketch plugin. When I open the dropdown in the modal, to select the Miro board to sync to, I can’t see my board. I can see other boards, but not mine. Could it be: Something to do with changing the name of the Miro board (not sure if it has as this project has recently been handed over to me) or because my Miro login is my client email address and my Sketch login is the agency I work for, or something else? Miro board unable to embed in Google Sites

I’ve been tying to embed a miro board into google sites but I get a 404 error. G sites is able to embed from other apps, it seems Miro is the problem here. I’ve tried so far: Checked settings in miro seem to be correct - public view on. Copied the embed HTML link directly from the export feature Tried embedding the Miro board via a URL (not the i frame) link via G sites. This give a slightly different error, only the title is visible rather than the 404 error. Any support would really be appreciated.

Copy paste plugin in the Mac Desktop app

I’m using the Mac desktop Miro app, and I tried to copy an element using the right-click context menu. I then got this popup saying I need to install the Chrome app. Shouldn’t the Chrome app functionality come pre-installed in the “native” app?

Is it possible to align connected shapes when you click/drag select them all?

is it possible to align connected shapes when you click/drag select them all? I’m creating flow charts and I noticed I can only align the flow chart if I select each shape individually (without the connector line). If a connector line is selected I only have the option to group the items.

Which plan is best for courses

Hello, I was reading through the different plans and am not sure which one is right for my company. I think we fall somewhere in between Consultant and Business but am not sure which plan is best for our set up. We will be holding ongong 2-day training courses with up to 30 students and each course will have a new group of students each time. We would like to give the students access to the boards for their class up to 2 - 2 ½ weeks. What would be the best plan to use for that? If I read correctly one option would be to purchase the Consultant plan and invite them as Anonymous Guest Editors but we’re thinking we want a link that’s not public and we can see who using the boards for each class. Is the Business Plan our only alternative? If so, do we purchase the amount of member licenses we think we’ll use and then add and remove students as needed? Thank you! Lisa

Attach arrow directly to sticky and no shadow

Dear community, is it possible to attach arrows directly to sticky notes? As you can see on the screenshot, for me the arrows always attach to the sticky plus some padding: Also is it possible to remove the arrow at the bottom of a sticky? Thank you in advance for your help!

Fonts embedded in svg are not rendered?

Can you give some advice about the prerequisites for rendering fonts in SVGs. 3 scenarios: The font is referenced in svg. US Government warning pops up when users try to access miro through CMS

I recently held a pro-bono session in Miro with random people, using a free account and shared the board’s link with editing rights to anyone who had the link. One of the invited later came back to me and explained that they didn’t want to access the board because of the below message. In steps they: 1. Clicked the link I had shared with them 2. Landed on the sign in page 3. They provided their work email (big corporate email) 4. They landed on this screen: How should I handle these cases, I guess the information is provided not by Miro, but by an external party, probably the IT department controlling the email domain that was used? Needless to say, this will definately not improve adoption rates of users… :)

Pricing / I want to buy the right licence

Hello, I am confused with the pricing - and VERY thankfull for help :-) Next week I want to work with a team of 17 participants with miro - so I feel under time pressure ;-) Which licence do I need, in order to conduct workshops with up to 30 (or more) participants with my clients (I am a consultant)? > What ist the diference between members and users? > can “commenters” (vs. “editors”) ad sticky notes and post their input? It's like a link, but with multiple (and dynamic, since I can create a link and someone after add other objects that appears into that search results) destinies. Security issue: Link opens wrong MIRO session

Today I was hosting a MIRO session with 13 participants. I mailed everybody a link to the session, but one participant, and one only , ended up in a wrong session/on another board. Closing down the browser and doing it all over didn’t solve the problem. What to do? Here are two problems: 1: One of my participants can’t join the board 2: If one of my participants can join a foreign board, others can join my board. And I don’t want that to happen. Ever.
