I am currently enrolled in the Interaction Design Foundation as a student. I wanted to apply for Miro’s educational plan but I do not own an educational email that I can use. Am I still eligible for the educational plan in this case? If anyone can provide further support on this.

Hi,Your TOS say that you can only use Miro at a company for internal purposes, and that you cannot use Miro “on behalf of, or to provide any product or service to, third parties” - but I see threads here on using Miro for consultancy, clients, giving board access to clients, etc. Can you clarify? I’m very confused. Example: Is there a 'client' account type I can use on the business plan? | MiroIf this is allowed for paid users I’m happy to upgrade if needed. I’d love to be able to use the free account  for my project though (am a student).Specifically: What about for an academic policy project with a client (like a policy paper), non-commercial, with the final policy report being published on the university website?Thanks!

Hi, I want to know before we enable Miro AI in our subscription what is the term of the education plan. If I look at the IA Features Addendum, specifically the 3. Use and Ownership of Input and Output..Do we consider the education plan an enterprise plan?The question is, all our input/output with IA will be use to train your model and becomes “public” or will be strickly use by us. Thanks

While working on a board, it will intermittently stop loading and give the error ‘e.map is not a function ‘ .  When I refresh, chrome opens the save as window.  If I close chrome it works again for a while but this happens sooooo often it’s incredible frustrating.  

Yesterday I could move multiple selected objects with SHIFT + Arrow keys. Today I can’t. The objects are not locked. I can still move one object at a time with SHIFT + Arrow keys. What happened?I’m using Chrome Version 110.0.5481.177 on Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1

Hey, so i just noticed that miro bills me around $20 a month, for the past 4-5 months now. I initially got the starter plan and unsubscribed, and got back to free mode 4-5 months ago. But when i saw my credit card bills, around IDR 307,000 (indonesian) was billed to miro every month! EVERY MONTHHHH!  

I think the CTA to star a board is reversed. Possible Bug? If you hover over the star of an already starred board, it says "Star this board".The inverse is true for unstarred boards. Since "star" is the verb, the call to action would be incorrect, I believe.  

When attempting to copy paste into hyperlink and or object to link, copy paste doesn’t seem to work. Copy paste works normally for a text box, but on weird occasions it would not copy paste into hyperlink and/or link to object url. It’s odd because copy paste works for text, but sometimes it works for hyperlinking.I think the bug gets triggered when i’m trying to link to a block within the beta feature text document, but not entirely sure. Sometimes it goes away too but not sure what causes it.

Hi,Per most editing software, holding shift and moving an object(s) wit the cursor keep the object(s) aligned to the axis.However, in Miro, this seems to work only some of the time. It’s really frustrating! Is this by design, and if so, what causes it not work?Thanks!

Hi, i ve created a free board and 24 hours already passed so its locked. I ve already tried to sign up, but when i sign in when opening the mentioned whiteboard it says We couldn’t create your board. Please try again. and when i click on try again it sends me here https://miro.com/pre-products/

Ich würde gerne verschiedene Objekte markieren und sperren, aber für einen Workshop die Post-Its beweglich lassen. Aktuell muss ich jedes Post-It aus der Markierung händisch anwählen, um sie aus der Markierung zu lösen. Gibt es da einen schnelleren Weg? Über den Weg des Filters kann ich aktuell immer nur einen Objekttypen auswählen/filtern. Vielleicht gibt es auch die Möglichkeit mehrere Objekttypen zu filtern?Vielen Dank für die Unterstützung.  

Hello, I have a basic Miro plan, but every time I log in or perform any action, I get a page with questions (1/5) repeatedly. I can't access the settings because the window keeps appearing, and the process starts all over again. Could you please advise me on how to get rid of this window? 

I want to lock some objects when having a set of objects created since they act as background objects, I know you can do this on board, but can it be done when created via miro.board.widgets.create?

I created a Miro Lite board two days ago and created this public link to have my customers fill out a bunch of information: https://miro.com/online-whiteboard/board/uXjVLFzerYw=/?boardAccessToken=QjmpU24MA1nO8sGWOGECDrunWj8RlXKl When I tried to open the board today, I am seeing this attached message saying that the board is locked and that I need to sign up to access the board:  However, when I sign up with my email and go back to the board, it asks me to request access to the board, but I don't know who this access request could possibly go to because I have tried signing in with every email I have and nothing seems to work. So I'm just stuck in this endless loop of it saying that I need to sign up to unlock it and then request access to it. 

Hello Community,I am using the endpoint(https://developers.miro.com/reference/get-items)that lists all items, and by utilizing the `type` query parameter,I can filter the results to specific item types.This feature is fantastic!However, I have noticed that there are additional item types, such as "table" and "unknown," which are not documented.I have a few questions:1. Where can I find a complete list of all available item types?2. Are there plans to include these additional types in the query parameters for filtering?3. Will items with the type "unknown" be renamed to more meaningful names in the future?Thank you in advance for your help!BR  Vas

The animation of a fly over from frame to frame is not working by default. How t activate? 

I have noticed the grid size on boards appears to be different between what I see in the editor, and what I see when logged out in the viewer (i.e what public viewers will see).The grid in the editor has lines every 4 squares, and the viewer is every 5. See below.Is there any way to work around this?   

I have been documenting in a Miro board for my research. I made a frame to some of the pictures & texts in the board and duplicated the frame. Suddenly a prompt showed up saying “syncing…please wait”. I waited for a few minutes until the prompt asked me to reload. I clicked on the reload button and the board started to load endlessly. I tried opening the board in multiple browsers and modes (including incognito), as well as in the Miro app on my iPad. None of these worked. I have shared the board to the Miro Support Team. Could you please resolve this issue?

I work as an Agile Coach with various teams in Miro. For a few weeks now we are encountering a problem: Once I turn on the private mode, the participants are no longer able to move sticky notes after writing on them. Empty sticky notes can be moved in private mode. After turning it off, participants can move them again. As a board owner I can move them at any time. 

Has anyone else run into an issue where the text from a card’s details panel will disappear after writing in it for a while? It happens so frequently that I now copy the text to the clipboard multiple times (in an attempt to save my work) as I’m writing in a card just to make sure that when it happens, I won’t lose what I had written.It just happened to me again and I took note that I had typed a bunch of text into the card details panel, then walked away from my laptop for a few min and when I came back it was in standby mode. When I woke the computer up, Miro was still open, but the card details panel was missing all of the new text I had written. This happens regardless of if I am starting a card from scratch (the text I’d written will simply disappear) or if I’m updating a card that already had text in it (if a card already has text and I delete/rewrite half of it and then am inactive in Miro for a bit while it’s open, I will sometimes come back and find that the new text is gone a

Miro loads infinitely, on desktop app, chrome, mozilla, and edge browsers. Already did everything you guys suggested in other threads.Hard to keep my deep work on Miro like this. I’m scared, all of sudden on a freaking business meeting I can’t access my stuff, leaving my like a freaking amateur to everyone.
