Hello, does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of members I can invite to a team?

No, but if you are on a paid plan and are inviting users using the full access method (as opposed to view/comment only or the anonymous guest editor access) you will pay for each added user.
With the free plan, there is no cost to invite users and no limits on how many you can invite.
