Hi there I have been setting up some boards for a workshop and when I come out and go back into the board my sticky notes are missing. There are still there, but not coloured so you cant see them (see below). Has anyone else experienced this?    How can I make sure they are ready to go for my workshop?

Hi I’ve tried to access an old Miro board (via a free trial) but it says “No access to board, ask the board owner to grant you permission. You’re logged in as emmax@xxxxxxxxx.xxx.xx.” Then says I can Request Access or Switch user profile. When I try to request access, it says “if the owner approves the request, you will receive an email notification”. I am the owner, but I’m not getting a notification. How can I access my old board? Thanks!

I created a prototype in Miro and shared to a client (as a guest, but with edit access) but he is unable to play it. Any ideas how to fix?  

Hello, I am working with the Roadmap planning Template with a large team, some who have not used MIRO before. Currently anyone can accidently move the timeline around if they try to drag the screen but use the left mouse button instead of right.Is there a way to anchor this template down to a spot without locking it. If we lock it no one can edit the work inside. I need to be able to anchor it. I tried using a frame but people could move it outside the frame.Any help is appreciated. 

I'm a teacher on an Education account. I' m trying to automate board distribution for students as it currently takes me roughly 20 minutes per notebook. I need API access for my Education team to bypass the developer team limits.  FYI, I have dedicated space for each course with a section for each student.  When I distribute I duplicate for each student and set permissions so that students cannot see each others’ notebooks.  I also have to set copy permissions so that students can submit copies of their notebooks.I couldn't find this information on Community Support. Thanks!Mark S

So here goes nothing—because honestly, I’m starting to believe this issue will never be resolved. I started using Miro as a collaborative tool, and on October 30, 2025, I paid for what was labelled as a “renewal” on the invoice I received. I thought I was all set. I even put a reminder in my calendar so I’d remember to cancel the subscription before the deadline.I used Miro a handful of times, and today I suddenly receive an invoice for 18 euros because some of my students apparently had “licenses.” Only now do I learn there’s an extra cost for that—something I was absolutely unaware of, largely because the subscription model is so ridiculously convoluted. At no point was it made clear that I’d be charged for every user who joins a virtual board I’m using in class.This feels completely unfair, and it should be stated very clearly from the very beginning. I have a problem with the Miro desktop app on Windows. I carefully studied the FAQ and checked all possible solutions with the support bot. I cleared the application data (via Alt → Help → Reset application data), manually deleted all residual folders in AppData, and reinstalled the app using the latest version from the official website. However, the app does not prompt for login at any point. It only launches in guest mode and doesn't allow me to use my account or any collaboration features.Has anyone else experienced this issue where the desktop app is stuck in guest mode and never asks for login credentials? How did you resolve it? Any ideas or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. 

I received an email to renew my educational account, but when I click the link I get an error message. How can I extend my educational account? I don't want to lose my boards on MIRO.!--endfragment>!--startfragment>

Dear Miro Support Team, I am a university student in Australia. I have an complaint regarding how Miro’s design flaws have negatively impacted my grade in an assessed assignment. Here is what happened: For a group assignment, a classmate invited me into their Miro team to collaborate. Later, due to health reasons, I stopped working in that group and planned to complete the assignment separately. Within that same team space, I created my own board for my work, because on my side there was no clear option to leave the team or to create a board in a truly personal/independent workspace, unless I create a new account. Our course requirement was: two boards per group. I created my own board inside the team, our team ended up with four boards in total. As a result, one of the boards became uneditable due to the free plan board limit, and this directly affected the quality of the work that was submitted for grading, I can't copy it to the new account's space because I previously submi

Hello, Somehow, our board picker allowed domains list has been updated and the wildcard domain disapeared.As we can not update the published application ourselves, the application stopped working.We tried to re-submitt the app to change the configuration but we get this 422 error when submitting :  How can we re-add this allowed domain without recreate a new application ? Thanks a lot,

Hello!I'm a Doctoral Student of Social Work and I have a presentation this Thursday and I created a Board for a closed Card Sort (4 Groups/12-20 Cards) as an activity during my presentation (7-9 classmates will share the board). Now that I've created the Board, I don't know what to do next. Can some help me with how to go about checking to see if will work properly. Initially, I thought that my classmates could sort their own card deck simultaneously on the same board, is this capable of being done or do they have to share the same deck of cards to sort? PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello, Until recently we were able to bulk export links on a frame to CSV. This was an incredibly useful feature for the research work we undertake and for documenting work. The feature still works on older boards but it seems the new link preview widget has broken this functionality. Will this be fixed or amended to bring this fuctionality back?  

I recently used Private mode with anonymous names to facilitate a retrospective. When private mode was turned off, no names were displayed (as expected). However I used the AI catch-up feature today, and when I selected “Show details” it listed the content of each stickie note under the name of the person who had added it! The AI is not honouring privacy mode, which means I cannot promise the team it will remain anonymous.Are the people at Miro aware of this, and is there any plan to rectify this?AI showing the names of who put what

Dear Miro Community & Team, I just opened my Miro and realized I forgot to cancel my free trial :( It is Business plan so it’s very expensive and I can’t afford to pay for this mistake. As you notice, I tried the free trial using personal email so it is not paid by my company at all (although it’s for work purpose). My salary can’t cover this :(I really need your kind support to help me cancel all the subscription & the outstanding. Please. Thank you very much!

I have the free version of smartsheet and am now trying to install the widget in Miro. Once it asks me to sign in to smartsheet, i receive an error message, saying that there is no user and i should try a different region. Anyone knows what to do? 

When copying a set of slides from one board to another board, the frames title is lost and reset back to just the default ‘slides.’ (see screenshot)

I've struggled to navigate the new website. Is it still possible to access your previously liked templates? 

I received an invitation to a board, so created an account.  Now I only have access to a blank startup page and every time I click on the invitation link, it only takes me to my startup page.   How is this supposed to work???

I’m not sure if I’m going crazy or if its a bug in Miro. Is anyone else losing layer information from the shapes/lines on their boards?I use Miro’s layers feature to separate overlays of information (shapes on top of shapes). For example a single floor plan can show the basic floor plan and then I unhide a layer to show the electrical, ventilation, or plumbing plans overlaid on the flor plan.Its occuring enough to drive me nuts. Objects that I am 99% sure I assigned to a layer are reverting to the default layer, hours or days after I originally drew them.
