I can't delete a user who used to be an admin

Hello,

We used to have a miro admin who left the company. Now I’m the admin. When trying to delete the user of the previous admin (who is not admin anymore) I’m getting an error saying that I need to have another admin instead.

We currently have 2 other company admins set.

How can I delete the old user and release the license?

Hi @Amir Kamzel thanks for reaching out!

It's most likely that the user is the only Admin in one of the teams within the subscription. You may add yourself to these teams and grant Team Admin rights to yourself (so that in these teams there are 2 Team Admins). After that, you shall be able to remove the user from the Company.

To do so open the Admin console > Users > All users > click on the number of teams of the respective user to learn which teams they are a member of. Click on the number of teams of your own profile and then the plus + icon > add yourself to the needed teams > Save changes.

To grant yourself Team Admin rights open Teams section > choose the team where you need Admin rights > Active users > click 3-dots on the line with your name > choose Grant team admin.

If this is not applicable in your case, please let me know.
