The names of each frame do not appear on the PDF print out of a MIRO board.  This seems an important factor as it is part of the organising/grouping of sticky notes. Is this a configuration issue? Can I change this in settings somewhere?

Hi everyone!I have been having issues with sticky notes. Somehow when I add them to some frames on my board they do not stick - even though they used to before. To my knowledge, I did not change any of the settings (maybe by mistake if thats even possible). Has anyone experienced this issue?The frames are in “freeshape” mode. Thank you!

I am very new to Miro. I have been experimenting on the free plan. On one of the free boards I thought I would see if I could upload a picture. This worked, but doing this has done something to the text feature. After uploading the picture, I tried to use the type text feature. Instead of getting the usual text box in which to type. I blue line appeared - I though it was a condensed text box, but I was not able to expand it. When tried to use the dots at the end of the blue line all is did was change the position of the line. I then deleted the picture but the text issue remained.

Hi,we’re looking into extending the functionality of the current cards on Miro.Firstly, I’m a simple Miro user, and have no idea of how to develop an app/ add-in, how to work with APIs, SDKs or whatsoever, all of that is cryptic to me. And that will stay so because I don’t need to.So I’m looking for someone who could develop an extended card function we can use.Basically I want to create a set of cards (think board game) which I can put on a Miro board. They have two sides: the front side has an image, a single sentence, and possibly a colour code (to group cards) – very similar to the existing card functionality.The back side is rich-text/ rich-media, containing text, tables, links, images, maybe videos, … (the default card functionality allows for bold/ italic text, for lists, and links, but nothing more, which is insufficient).It would be lovely if it created the impression that the card is flipped over, but just “expanding” it would work, too. Hi,I need to give editing rights on one of my boards to few editors outside. They are not part of the team and will not be. The issue is that the shared link is not secure and I have no clue if they share the link with someone else. I know I can set password but again there is no visibility for me to see how many have access to my board.Any suggestions?? 

This was addressed in a post 6 months ago but currently what we want is not possible. The problem step-by-step:1. Board A created. In the Notes section, there are links to specific areas of Board A.B2. Board A duplicated to create Board B.3. In Board B, in the Notes, the links go to Board A area.Request: Allow links in Board B Notes to correspond to areas in Board B, not back to Board A.

I want to create a card sort to review with students independently.  Can I create a board that they can use and it is reset for each student that uses it?  Is there a way to create a “key” so that it checks itself?

Users use an installation link to install the plugin. How do I get an access token to use for the REST API?The SDK only offers `miro.getIdToken`, but not an accessToken. Use CaseI have a plugin that can drag & drop elements into the Miro board. Users can purchase additional elements to drop. Therefore, I have a backend that keeps track of user purchases.Web SDK initializes plugin. I use `miro.getToken()` (deprecrated) in the Web SDK to retrieve a token. I make an API call to the backend, using this token. My backend uses https://api.miro.com/v1/users/me to retrieve the e-mail address. I cross-reference the e-mail with the purchases in the web-shop to unlock purchased products for this user (*)With the deprecation of `getToken()`, I cannot access the REST API anymore. The new idToken returns 401 Unauthorized.*) Actually ​​​​​​, this is a bit different, but doesn't matter for this context.

Do you plan to give us the ability to ask for a pseudo when free access is open to identify user without need any registration ? 

I’m building Product roadmap/Gantt chart and when adding Due date to the card displayed on timeline it width remain unchanged while visually it became wrong in relation to other cards with different due date.Can width of the card depend on it’s Due date when on Timeline? 

Hello, I’m a teacher and yesterday my student had trouble hearing the audio of a youtube video I embedded on the Whiteboard.  FYI I embedded the video by just copying and pasting the link straight onto the board. He could hear the audio slightly but it was very quiet at his end.  Any insights into how I could fix this would be most helpful Nick

Dear Miro team, I work for the Council of Europe as an IT Technician. I want to create a Silent/Unattented package that installs Miro. Currently, the miro.exe file installs the software at %APPDATA%\Local\… And the default installer doesn’t seem to provide a way to change the install location. The idea would be to install it outside of the user profile, in Program Files. Do you know how to change the default location ?Secondly, the app seems to update automatically which is an issue to us who use the applocker. Is there a way to disable the automatic update with a commandline ? (Could be registery, or just an argument during the installation?)Thanks for the help, Best, Charly F

I had signed up for a personal MIRO account using my company email for individual use at work. A few months later, my company bought enterprise licenses. I received a welcome email from MIRO, followed the link, but my account does not show as an enterprise account, and enterprise features are not available to me.How do I migrate my account to the enterprise license and access the additional features?

I’m making an app where dropping a card on top of a shape object needs some functions to be called, so I want to catch when cards are moved, I tried using “WIDGETS_TRANSFORMATION_UPDATED”  but it doesn’t give coordinates, I’ve tried getting the common ‘dragend’ on document and it did no go well either, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I can’t export in full quality because Miro think I just have “Free” version. But I’m listet with full licens in the “Active Users” list. And when I have just “Free” version its impossible to get in touch with Miro Helpsenter Chat. How to fix that?

I couldn't find the answer whether co-owner feature costs extra money for those on a Consultant Plan. When adding a co-owner to a board or a project, should I pay?

Hi,I am going to change the status of one of the members from Full member to free restricted license,but the member is the owner of some of the boards, what is gonna happen if I change the setting as mentioned? Who is going to be the owner of those boards instead? Thank you

Hi Everyone, how are you?I am deeply distressed that all my work has been removed from Miro without any explanation or prior communication. This board was created in May and now in September it no longer exists.How can I get my work back? Help me, please?A board can be deleted from my account for not having updates?

Hi Community, I did some one work on Miro under my own free account however I need to now export this to my work account but it wont let me. I just paid $20 for a month to see if I could export my mind map but it still says upgrade. Is there limit if you pay monthly rather than yearly? Am i vendor locked in and now will have to recreate several days work again? I need to export this to my corp Miro account and use it there. Any help is hugely appreciated. I know this is probably worded wrong so sorry if its confusing. 

Hello, I am getting this error “You can't delete parent node, when child nodes are in editing mode" when I try to delete one of my cards on the User Story Map. What does that mean? How can it get back from “editing mode”?

Hello everyone! It's incredible. I have two grids which, in the header, contain small images.I managed to lock the first one, including the images. I can lock the second grid but not the images it contains. When the images are inside the grid the padlock does not appear, while if I move them out I see the padlock again. Can anyone explain this strange behavior and help me solve the problem? Thank you!

Hi, I’d like to know how to restrict the editors’ rights on my Miro board. I have a free account and I need to restrict the editors‘ rights on one of the contents I used for my board, just one content (a table). I wish people could be able to write on the table without neither modifying its structure nor deleting others’ contributions. I tried to modify the share’s options giving people the right to comment and not to edit but this solution is not ideal, and not even readable. Could you give me some advice please ? Thanks in advance for your help.Best regards,Chiara
