It used to be possible to add connection lines from a group of objects and that seems to missing now with the update made to creating diagrams. As an example I have been using this UML Diagram template which has groups of squares and it’s useless now that I can’t create connection lines from grouped objects.

+7You can still draw lines from the individual items within each group using the line tool - the four blue dots will show up on the individual object edges as usual. As such, with the UML Diagram template, I’m able to create connection lines from the name, fields and methods sections of each object.
