Hi there. We have that problem since a few weeks that Microsoft Edge users cannot access boards that are shared via URL (neither read or edit). It appears that the Edge browser redirects them based on an Edge User Profile to the Miro login page. Most users we share a board via URL don’t have a Miro user and therefore cannot login. It’s a dead end.The issue can be resolved by selecting “browse as guest” in edge or using a different browser all together. Unfortunately many users don’t know that und therefor a lot of workshops fail at the start moment as the participants either don’t know what to do, are not able to select “browse as guest” and cannot quickly install a different browser while its workshop time.My question is. Is there a setting in edge where the user can prevent the redirect only for that domain? Can someone explain to me why Edge thinks it is necessary to redirect the user although they don’t have a Miro account and how this can be prevented in the future?I am a safari -

Hi folks, I have read the following documentation but I still have questions about object lockinghttps://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021580759-Board-co-owner What we have observed:We use Miro to deliver training courses and have 3-4 facilitators / board owners. One of our main courses has a template that we update pretty regularly and we then create duplicate boards from this for specific clients. I have found that if I lock elements on the template and then duplicate the board then they are locked for me in the duplicated board. However objects that were locked on the template by someone else are now unlocked in the new copy.  Can you tell me the expected behaviour when boards are duplicated and objects are locked by different people/roles. i.e. If a non board owner locks an object then that board is duplicated would you expect that object to be locked for everyone on the new board? Also with the new co-owner feature is there any different behaviour with locked objects between

I’m a recent university grad where I was heavily involved in academic research and  I’m curious: any professors, students, or academic researchers out there using Miro in your research process?   Would love to see examples of boards, processes, etc. if you have any! Hoping to enable those in academia with Miro :) 

Hi,I am new to Miro.I seem to be having an issue with some shapes locking in certain places - they won’t go where I want them to go and they then push other shapes out of the way.I have turned off ‘snap’ and also used ‘CTRL’ to stop it snapping the shape, but these aren’t working.Greatly appreciate any help.

I create artwork, on CMYK canvas and when I upload these to miro the image’s level of saturation are changed, why? I tried to re-upload them, download them from the miro board (to see if the MBs have changed, since the lack of saturation) and the images are perfectly normal.So I don’t understand why, when I upload these beautiful full of colour and vivid images, miro does not deliver its full value. Please help, Im an illustration student and currently using miro for feedback reviews I dont want to present lower quality picturesThank you,Catarina 

I’m suddenly getting this error while trying to add icons from the iconfinder - "Sorry, it looks like the URL that you are using is incorrect. Please check the URL for typos and try again" I’ve neither used any plugin nor tried to connect it with any other third party app. I’m running on a tight schedule so help, sooner than later, would be really great. Thanks!

 when i type text it should be seen as ‘가나다', but it prints ㄱ ㅏ나다.however, i put one indentation before 가나다 it looks ok.

Hi, I would like to delete two boards that were created by another user.i am the Admin of the project but it seems that i dont have that ability on their boards, just on my board.can you please advise?

 Hello,I can’t open any board on my PC even if tried to open it up with the Incognito Widow as well.I don’t see any cookies blocked, cleared the cache memory and even turned off my firewall temporarily. Hallo,ich hatte es jetzt schon ein paar Mal, dass die Tafel auf dem Tablet von meinem Schüler einfriert und sich nicht mehr verschieben lässt. Da das bisher immer bei der gleichen Person aufgetreten ist, liegt es nahe, dass dies am Tablet des Schülers liegt. Wer er dann etwas schreibt, dann kann ich das sogar sehen, er selbst aber nicht. (Ein Skype-Videoanruf lief die ganze Zeit ohne Probleme weiter.)Was mich aber zusätzlich irritiert ist, dass die Minimap auch bei mir selbst (sowohl auf einem Tablet als auch auf einem Laptop) falsch dargestellt wird:Obwohl die Tafel nur sehr wenig beschrieben ist, wird eine riesige weiße Fläche angezeigt. Dabei ist außerhalb nichts. Es erinnert mich an https://community.miro.com/peer-support-45/scaling-minimap-2633Allerdings arbeite ich völlig ohne Frames. Den Inhalt einer Tafel komplett löschen ist so weit ich es sehe auch nicht mit einem Klick möglich, oder? “Delete” würde das ganze Board entfernen, so dass der Link nicht mehr funktioniert? 

Can someone help me get back the attention management controls in this board.  I can no longer see my avatar, the hide collaborators cursor button or the avatars of other people in the board.  This is the only board where this is happening.  I am board owner and creator. I need the ability to bring people to me as I am running a series of workshops in this board. Any help would be appreciated.  

I’ve noticed that when PDFs are brought into a Miro board, and you zoom in… it not only freezes the board, but makes the board corrupted and can’t be open again. You have to duplicate the entire board to even get in, and then it locks up again when you start to zoom into the PDFs. This has happened 3 times with completely separate boards.

In our meeting platform, we want to automatically generate a miro board for each room and give any guest in the meeting the ability to edit the board, not just view it.Looking at the documentation, it seems like we can’t generate one of these guest, embedded Miro boards use the REST API directly, we have to present someone in the meeting with a boards picker and have them create the board. We would then capture the URL and send it to everyone else in the meeting automatically.Am I understanding the workflow correctly? Ideally, on our server, I would generate a Miro board for each room and populate our client apps with it. Guest joining the meeting would see the board immediately.

Hallo liebe Leute :)Ich bin sehr erfreut auf die Funktion command+F für das Springen zu einer beliebigen Stelle im Miro-Board gestoßen. Da ich das Miro-Board für eine Art Workshop nutzen möchte, ist dies sehr hilfreich, um dem Nutzer die Navigation zu erleichtern, indem man ihn anhand der Pfeile durch das Dokument leitet.Leider sind die Pfeile aber sehr klein und ungünstigerweise immer oben rechts am ausgewählten Objekt platziert. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, eigene Pfeil-Symbole zu erstellen und diese als Link zu verwenden/diese in einen Link zu verwandeln? Beim Testen des Dokumentes hat ein Testnutzer nämlich auf das Wort “Start” gedrückt anstatt auf den kleinen Pfeil daneben… Das wäre doch auch sehr viel userfreundlicher wenn es gine. Man kann leider auch die Größe des Pfeils nicht verändern. Hat jemand einen Tipp für mich oder weiß, was für Work-arounds es dafür gibt?Danke schon mal im Voraus!

Can someone tell me how to define which camera the Video Chat app in MIRO will display (when using my MAC BOOK PRO and a DISPLAY SCREEN), right now it is defaulting to the laptop camera instead of the display screen camera (so people are seeing my side view).  I’ve tried checking which camera is the defualt camera in FACETIME and that is set to the display camera which is correct.  I cannot find a way to adjust this inside of MIRO.  Can someone advise? Hello - I am trying to better understand the User Log in our Miro Account.  We have team members that have full licenses and are members on Miro but when you search using last activity they have no dates by their names. I am just wondering if we are paying for people that are not using the boards. Can they view boards and still show no activity if they did not make any changes. ThanksSharon

When I try to move a frame, all of the comments stay in place and there’s no way to get the comments to move with the contents of the frame.

I have not seen much on the new features (i.e, i missed the session and its not posted as a video). Is there an official or unofficial recap of the new features that have been teased? I signed up for Beta Access but don’t know what i might get! (at least in detail) Thanks,Rob.

Nothing happens when I click the voting icon in the toolbaar in the lower left corner. I have managed this before and normally there opens a section in top right corner where I can setup number of votes and time. What am I missing here, why does the voting setup not start?

We have to pass coordinates while creating the widget. Is there any way to do it easier? Miro Provide any solution for automatically creating or organizing boards based on data?
