It would be great to be able to move items while they are still loading. Very concretely, photo captures from the phone.My reasoning is that the most important thing for me when using Miro alongside other mediums - in my case a lot of paper (and whiteboards) - is the speed of capturing and putting it into the right place. If it takes a long time to load I need more time to get into my workflow again.

Hi! I am fairly new to miro and am wondering if the following is possible. I have created a miro board with ideation and prioritisation templates. As part of a self-facilitated workshop I would like to make this board available for all teams in one organisation. However, every time a team opens the board it should be in its original state. Is it possible that people save my created board as a private miro board? Thanks :)

I just discovered the hard way that there’s a name length limit for Miro boards when creating them via the API: 60 characters. I discovered this when a client reported that a system that I’d built for him to automatically create new Miro boards for his projects came back with a failure on one particular project. In the API call, the only thing that I’m passing is the board name, and the intended board name for this project was 66 characters long. Through trial and error, I found the 60 character limit, but was a bit frustrated that this isn’t mentioned in the API docs.Could someone please update the docs to mention this limit, and maybe any other name length limits that need to be considered when using the API?

Здравствуйте! Купили аккаунт в миро, 2 лицензии. Добавил еще 1го участника с ролью полный, затем удалил и добавил другого, т.е. занял обе лицензии. Но другой пользователь переходя по старым ссылкам снова добавляется в команду с ролью Полный, боюсь, как бы не было доп списания за пользователя, который добавился сам. и не понимаю как понизить его роль. Все участники добавляются в команду по ссылке, добавляются с ролью Пробная версия на 7 дней. Как понизить роль участника, как сделать так что бы участник удаленный с ролью Полный, если переходит по ссылкам миро нашей команды, не добавлялся с этой ролью.

Hi,we are using a lot miro to do moodboard, visual presenation etc. but i have a quality issue with the sampling when we zoom out. there is aliasing.is there a way to have a better filtering ? miro : photoshop :  

I hold the same workshop to multiple clients, and for this workshop I’ve developed sort of a master version board. For each client I then hold the workshop for, I copy paste the relevant frames and items I wish to include into a new board which I have added to that account and project.  The problem is that when I do this, all links that I had created are still pointing to the master version board, and not the frames in the new board. As I may want to have 10 or maybe even 100 links in one of these master version board, it makes it impossible to use links because of this.  A nice feature would be to make the links stay intact within each board. As far as I understand it, the links are today built up by /boardID/widgetID. So I guess what I would like is that if I paste a set of 20 frames into a new board, containing 100 links, the link would replace the /boardID/ part of all links and append the new board’s ID instead into all links. Is there a way to do this already?

Dear Miro Community,I use Miro for some time and truly enjoy it. Today was working on workflows and wanted to use certain type of icons to represent different groups of users. Imagine my surprise when I compared male and female icons (attached). First ones show smiling men, while second - dissatisfied women. I am not a person who fights for equality in every single aspect of life, but this simply looks weird  Do not need support, but I am curious of your thoughts. Also, if any miro graphic designer reads this - could we please add some happy female icons and / or at least a few more neutral male? Best, Justyna

Hi there, New to Miro. I’ve created a board that I want to share in a training course tomorrow. I’ve prebuilt all my content. When I share the board, it shows everything highlighted as updated by me. The issue I have is that this is the first time people are seeing it, so they don’t need to see what’s changed. Is there a way I can turn this “feature” off? S

Hi.  I follow Miro on youtube and watch a lot of V-MUG videos. I see a lot of good elements on their board. when i try to copy and past the elements from their board onto my board, it does not work. (paste does not happen) what am i doing wrong ? what can i do if i want to use those elements on my board ?

I have read some responses about board sharing but am still unsure.I have made three boards on the free plan. I want to make Youtube videos presenting one of the boards and have a link to that one board in the description so people can look at it. If I post the link from the “anyone with the link (can view)” option for that board then anyone who clicks on that link will be able to see all three of my boards? Clicking the link is the same as “inviting members”?

Hello,Over time, I have captured a wide variety of SVGs I used as quick design assets. All of them are inside PowerPoint. E.g., each slide has 20 SVGs according to a certain theme. Is there a way to import all these SVGs from the PPTX file into Miro?Copy+pasting doesn’t work since it converts the SVGs to PNGs.Thanks in advance for your help!

Last week, while facilitating a learning session in Miro, a participant flagged to me about "Sticky Notes gone missing." I wasn't sure what to belief. But it did indeed happen. See screenshot. "Missing Sticky Notes tool"Has anybody else experienced this before? If so, what was the "remedy"?

Hi, I can’t seem to find a way to change an existing member to a Team admin. The only option when I click the three dots after clicking on the member is to delete them from the team. Note that this is on an Education Account. Any tips?!?!

Dear Community,we're planning to set up a user research repository or a knowledge management tool in our company. I've looked through a dozen of tools and we're also considering Miro as one of the options, since we use it anyway. Do you have any tips on setting it up inside Miro? Here are my questions1. Is it possible to search between boards, for example search by tags that are used in multiple boards? I'm afraid that building one huge board will make it unusable after some time.2. The main advantage of using research repository tools, is that there you work with raw transcripts of audio/video, which then are highlighted, tagged and can be moved around. Any tips on linking/ connecting transcripts to Miro? The obvious solution is copy paste interesting parts to a spreadsheet and then import them all as notes/ cards. But maybe there's something else.3. Any plans to have search within documents, e.g. attached PDFs or for OCR (similar to Evernote)? Here are some links that I've gathered,

I am new to MIROI created a massive workflow in Miro, when I was working on sharing it with my team I must have ticked the wrong box because I lost the editor rights to my own board. If I try to access sharing settings it tells me to request editor rights.Well I am the only person linked to the board and somehow managed to degrade myself from editor to commentor, and basically no one has rights to edit the board now. Can someone help me regain my editor rights???

I am talking about the Miro web plugin SDK and its capabilities.The main Miro landing page talks about how great Miro is for teams and collaboration. So you can imagine my surprise to learn that the SDK events are only for single user boards. There are no events for changes to the board made by my team!What makes this even more bizarre, is that these events do exist under the hood. When a team member moves a widget around, I can see it moving around on my Miro board. When a team member creates a new widget, it immediately appears in my view too!So I’m left only to speculate why these events aren’t propagated through the SDK and instead the SDK gets filtered events of only actions that I myself have done.Please tell me there are plans to add SDK event support for boards used by more than one person. It would allow for much more advanced and live collaboration oriented plugins. PS. I am aware of extreme workarounds like building a state machine with a hidden widget, or a state machine on

If so, How do I install it and get everything working? So far nothing I’ve tried has worked. I have no idea whether it’s a miro problem, a zoom problem, or a linux problem.

I’m relatively new to MIRO and my company have taken on the tool for in-house collaboration.My scenario is that I want to facilitate a session where collaborators will Sticky Note their ideas and then the group will dot vote on those to take forward. I’ve created my first board for this purpose.I want to preload the board with dot votes so I can concentrate on facilitation, rather than being a ‘board gardener/caretaker’, as I will be the sole facilitator.The problem is the last item added to the board is at the front, meaning pre-loaded dot votes will go behind a sticky note when moved by default. This was noticed by the two testers of my board as I have a frame where uses can familiarise themselves with MIRO when the dot votes disappeared behind their sticky notes.Is there anything I can do to smooth this process (other than have to ‘bring to front’ the dot votes during the session after the last sticky was added)? Thanks,David

Hi, this topic is maybe connected to https://community.miro.com/developer-platform-and-apis-57/unable-to-get-card-metadata-with-rest-api-1921. But in my opinion it was not answered becuase the question was about widgetType=CARD and the answer was widgetType=STICKER. So:I created a CARD via REST API (POST https://api.miro.com/v1/boards/${this._miro.boardId}/widgets ) with a metadata. I created a STICKER via REST API (POST https://api.miro.com/v1/boards/${this._miro.boardId}/widgets ) with the exact same metadata object like in 1. In the Browsers DEV Console I did a miro.board.widgets.get({id: "<id of the created STICKER>"}) → Result: the metadata was returned as expected In the Browsers DEV Console I did a miro.board.widgets.get({id: "<id of the created CARD>"}) → Result: the metadata object was empty. Expected was the same metadata content like in 3.So for me the behaviour for CARDs is different from the behaviour of STICKERs. Does this somehow make sense? Sorry if not repr

Where can I see pricing for Embedding Miro whiteboard? The use case is to help users of our product collaborate and interact on the whiteboard, and hence there will be no permanent set of users.

Does anyeone else find it really frustrating that they sometimes select all (CTRL + A) to select text in a field or in a box and accidentally select everything because the item might not have been quite selected correctly.The result is that the view zooms out to include all items in the entire board. This is really frustrating on boards which have thousands of items where I will now need to zoom back in and reorient myself to find the original location.This happens to me 2-3 times per hour where I am copying items→ selecting the text of an item → select all (to select all text in the box) → delete → type new text I would LOVE a setting to only select everything on the screen instead of the whole board.
