The flags, under Emojis, appear just as country code letters.

Is there something I need to install to make them appear?

I’m using Miro on Windows 10 Edge Browser Version 92.0.902.84 (Official build) (64-bit).

@AgileExponent -

I tested on my Windows 10 PC with Google Chrome and got the same result so my guess is that this might be a bug. I’d recommend opening a Miro support request here: Submit a request – Miro Support & Help Center

Perhaps I also have the same case.

Miro support told me that it is a known issue and referred me to the help page on emojis which says this:

Technical Limitations prevent showing of flags in Windows

“Technical Limitations” -- is that code for something? :-)

I am experiencing the same issues listed above. I see these posts are 9 months old. Has there been any progress on this “bug?”

Hi @Claudio Dalla Venezia,

Alyona from Miro Support is here for a moment.

We are unable to show country flags emojis on Windows devices because we are using system emojis, which at this point aren't supported by Windows. Feel free to check this thread in Microsoft's community if you want to learn more.

Once system emojis for country flags become available on Windows devices, we'll make sure to support them too!
