If you mean users who are already members of the Free Plan, they yes, they can definitely be invited to a private board on the paid plan. 

If you are referring to users with a free license, it’s also a yes You can invite users to your boards as guests. This way, they will be added to a particular board only and will not consume a paid seat.

When I share invitation link to other users. I can see some members have trial license and some members have free plan license.

What the cause of these differentiation?

Hi @Iffah !

Users always get a free license first when they are added to the Team Plan account instead of immediately consuming a paid seat. When they perform any paid action (open a board, create a board, etc.), their license is converted to trial for 7 days.
