I am the board owner. I have a free account. I need to transfer ownership of this board to someone else, so they can keep the board and I will eventually leave it entirely. I read the instructions to change owner, but I don’t see the ‘is owner’ option in the menu. I did invite the other members individually to the board. Am I missing something?
Our company use Miro for Fashion Design and create a lot of boards that use JPG or PNG for visuals rather than Miros shapes/stickies.Once we drag and drop into Miro images are all different sizes, which have to be manually resized. We use A LOT of images 500+ so this is very time consuming! p.s love miro
Hi,I would like to use Miro not only as a team tool but also as a personal tool to have personal boards of my own mind maps. It becomes a problem when needing to work offline (ex: in the train with bad/no wifi). I understand Miro doesn’t work offline on colaborative boards as the timeline of modification would become hard to follow. But for a personal boards not shared, is there a way to work offline? Technicaly, if not shared, it would not be complicated at all, only would require to stock data on local hard drive.
I am using one of the excellent example boards from Microverse. The first thing I tried was to put it into Presentation Mode. I noticed that the order in which the frames are shown is not the same order as the frames appear on the board. In fact, there are some frames that don’t even appear in the presentation. I like this feature, but I don’t see where this order is set or how to make this happen in a board I’ve created from scratch. This is the template I am referencing: https://miro.com/miroverse/company-vision-workshop/I have looked in the Miro documentation, but I’ve been unable to locate the how-to. Thanks!MacGrif
Miro has been valuable to get some ideas down, but I’m starting to come up to some limitations that cannot be easily overcome or worked around; especially when working with outside organizations that are locked into their own stack, such as o365.In particular, I need to be able to export my board in a more vendor-neutral/open-standard format, such as an SVG, so that I can pull in it to other stacks, such as OneNote. (CSV is kinda useless)How can I achieve this? (simple C&P doesn’t work)I’ve tried exporting as a PDF and printing from the browser, but all I get is a embedded bitmap/raster.Does the export at HQ PDF export it as vector?
Hi everyone,I recently purchased a Miro plan, and my team is wondering if there is a way to turn the cursors off for everyone who enters the board. We are planning to have many anonymous editors utilizing the board at once. I know that you can direct each individual to turn the cursors off, but I was hoping there was a way to have it automatically off for every person who enters the board. Thanks!
So I have a special case. I am preparing a workshop with many activities for various groups. Each of the groups will be assigned a colour so it will be easier for the members of the group to identify which board belongs to them.I have observed the following issue:the background colour of the frame is overwritten by the background colour of the rectangle that should be under this frame. The rectangle is bigger than the frame, I wanted it to overlap many frames with one big rectangle. In the image that I attached - the frame should have a yellow colour but the colour of the rectangle (white) overwrites it.
I was working with a student and suddenly his toolbar vanished somehow. He nor his mom could find it. It was embarrassing because I had raved about the site and they spent a bit of time setting up the account and getting it up and running. I could see my toolbar on the left side but his was missing. It worked at first. Is there a setting on his end that he accidentally hid it or did it erase. He could type by clicking on the screen and clicking on the T. But I really needed him to be able to write with the pencil. Any advice?
Hello! Although the SurveyMonkey and TypeForm integrations allow for survey results to display in Miro, is there an app or functionality within Miro that allows people to complete a survey directly in the whiteboard and show the results, similar to Miro’s voting app? I want people to rank a set of features in the whiteboard without sending them to their email to complete a survey. Thanks for your help!
Is there a way to upload or paste an Excel document into a miro board so that it displays live data? In other words, i can see the tables and graphs in miro without having to click a link, yet if I make changes to the Excel file off-line, these changes will show up automatically in miro when I open the board again.
