I use the “Make Participants Follow Me” feature and it works great. But eventually I want make them unfollow me and I can’t figure out how to do that. I want to have them unfollow me when I’m done with a focus-talk on something and now want to go ahead with some other work, but unless they take control of their own view, they will passively continue to follow me and I want a way to be able to just make it stop for all. If a participant does go his/her own way, and then I follow their view, then everyone who is still following me also follows them.Am I missing something?
Trying out Miro features and comparing to other options. For some of my work, it is useful to be able to generate Wordle type ‘word clouds’. Is anybody doing this with Miro? I understand that is possible within Stormcloud, for example. Grateful for any wisdom and advice from this community.
Suddenly copy pasting elements on my miro boards is not working anymore. If I try to copy, paste for instance an sticky note it always seems to paste a text element. This happens for all various elements I try to copy. How can this problem be solved. Is there a setting which was by accident triggered which could have caused this? Thanks!
Hello! My team uses miro board intensively for the different tasks and I have to say it’s awesome instrument! Some time ago we started using it for the database modeling. We use Shape widget to define tables and then we just put some text inside which describes columns of that table. The problem is that we would like to have a more strict tool for that than just shape widget. We’d like to have custom widget which might be a something like a table widget but just with three columns stands for column name, column type and description. Types of columns should be predefined and should be choose from dropdown list. Also it should be possible to connect tables using connection lines. Is something like this planning in the future? If no, could you please give a clue on how to implement this widget/plugin? Is there any example on how to implement such a widgets? Many thanks in advanced!
I think, somehow I added three rows to our shared calendar. No idea how, I was adding lines from/to dependent actions.I want to delete the rows, I think, but when I attempt to select the rows the entire calendar moves. I’m assuming I need to unlock something. I’ve found 3 options to unlock, and have selected each of them. None has allowed me to select anything. I’m also concerned that just selecting random unlocks is helping to stabilize our calendar, but have no idea what they do What do I need to do to remove the additional rows? What do the various Lock/Unlock options actually do?
Last week, while facilitating a learning session in Miro, a participant flagged to me about "Sticky Notes gone missing." I wasn't sure what to belief. But it did indeed happen. See screenshot. "Missing Sticky Notes tool"Has anybody else experienced this before? If so, what was the "remedy"?
I was searching for a way to enable contributors to contribute without exposing their content to the group until the facilitator exposes them. This is really helpful in retrospectives so that participants do not influence each other with their input. This feature does exist in Mural (private mode). It also exist in free tools like metroretro but here the participants need to expose their stickies to the group (Not really handy for facilitators to rely on the group). Is it correct that this feature is not available? If so is there already a feature request for this feature?
I am new to MIRO and English, so sorry if this is a strange question. Is it possible to add my own shapes using the API?Specifically, I would like to be able to drag and drop a shape like a crown onto the board.I have used SVG before, but I want to change the color of the lines and the background color, so I want to achieve this with shapes. Please give me some ideas!
It’s possible that I’m going mad but I’m sure that when I was on my colleague’s board (as a guest editor, he has the Consultant Plan) that I could use both the bring to me and the Bring everyone to me functionality when in a workshop (we co-deliver together). Has the functionality changed? It doesn’t work today and I’m sure I used it with another group yesterday.
