Hi there, We have an existing published Miro app, and when we try to edit any config for it, we get an error message that it cannot be edited because the app is already published.Surely there must be some flow to edit and resubmit an existing app with updated config? Am I missing something, or does this require manual intervention by the Miro team to update an existing app?  What is the update flow for editing and resubmitting an existing published app?Or do you recommend creating a new app altogether in order to “update” it, then we share our latest new App ID with you once we are ready to resubmit?

When I create a frame and add a shape in it I can’t resize the frame to a smaller size Example :const frame = await board.createFrame({ title: “Test”, x: 0, y: 0, width: 1000, height: 1000,});const shape = await board.createShape({ x: 25, y: 25, width: 50, height: 50,});await frame.add(shape);frame.width = 500;frame.height = 500;await frame.sync();I got the following error :“Uncaught (in promise) Error: Cannot resize the frame (XXXX) to the specified size, because one or more children would exist outside the parent frame.”

Does anybody know if it’s possible to embed a miro board on a page, but remove the zoom controls from the touch pad. This would make it better for accessibility so people can scrolll past the board if necessary and just use the icon buttons to zoom in and out?

Hi, I have created one set of clusters. Now I have a new set of stickies that are tagged and need to be included in the existing clusters [the tags are the same]. I tried this but it creates new clusters with the same cluster titles. Any solution for this?

Hiya, I’m trying to figure out how to make use the trackpad as I would on a mac. At the moment when I use two fingers to ‘scroll’ nothing happens and I have to use fingers to move around, it’s pretty annoying and kind of ruins the experience. How can I make this work?

Hi,I am trying to reduce the team size of my company (we were overcharged on our Business Plan subscription). Currently, I am the only admin and I have two guests under our subscription. One of my other colleagues is a paid member and I am trying to demote her to a guest (so that I am the only paid member) but it won’t let me do so. It keeps saying that the team must have at least one admin even though it does (as I stated, I am the admin).My colleague suggested that this may be due to the fact that she was already an Admin on her own team and it seems that we joined her team (ie when we started our Business Plan subscription, our subscription connected to her existing sales and marketing subscription). Is it possible to move our Business Plan subscription to another team so that it is not connected to her marketing subscription? This way we would be able to have our own separate team in which I am the only paid member.Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.Best,Zuma

Can I embed miro on parenting website?

Not sure if guests receive notification summaries if I change board contents. I’m using the consultant plan. Any help appreciated 😀.

Hi. We use the Miro wireframes feature a lot. Unfortunately there is a bug when inserting objects. Procedure:1: I drag a tablet screen into the board.2nd: I drag a text field into the tablet screen3rd: I drag a second tablet screen into the board4th: I cut the text field to the clipboard (CTRL-X)5th: I select the second tablet screen and paste the text field (CTRL V)6th: When I move the second tablet screen, the text field in it moves with it.7th: I move the text field inside the second screen with the mouse.8th: When I move the second tablet screen, the text field inside it does not move and remains fixed.7th: There is no way I know of to get the text field to move with the second tablet screen. Video describing the BUG: https://www.veed.io/view/af0148c8-786b-469c-85ae-65a87788e005?sharingWidget=true&panel=share

Miro for iPad works pretty well for the most part. But for the last 2 days I have been unable to fully load any boards. The board content will all load, but the UI will stay loading forever. Has this happened to anyone else? I have updated to the latest version of the app and am on a 2022 iPad Air

Hi,I’m using Miro on my ipad pro for classes and now none of my text boxes are displayed when I open boards. I just have non verbal maps… Zooming doesn’t change anything. If I open my boards on a desktop everything reappears. I tried to relaunch app, to relaunch ipad, to uninstall and reinstall. Now I’m worried because I’m supposed to use Miro to conduct a workshop in my class this week. 

Hello, I did a backup of what I thought were the boards inside by team, before deleting everything, and it seems I simply created a shortcut to the board instead of exporting them per se. Now I need to recover those files but I see no trash can - I guess because I have the free version of the app?Anyone with knowledge that can help me here? It’s really important to me. Thank you

HiI’m on a consultant plan and I want my client to be able to copy the board. But when I go to Share → Share settings → Permissions the option “Anyone with the link” under “Who can copy board content” is missing. Does anyone know why and how I can change this?Appreciate your help, really, I’ve looked up every help page but it’s really simply not there. Thank youBüsra 

How can I change the date format on a card so that I can see the year? We are building a program board where there are items with the same wish date but in different year, but on the card only month and day is showing up, so it is hard to decide at first sight which year it is referring to.

Не могли бы вы исправить данные проблемы.I am not able to edit my boards, tools are not working. I tried to delete an app and upload it again, it did not help. Please, could you fix this problem or explain what is wrong. My students can edit the boards though.

Yesterday we tried new automation for deleting users and accidentally deleted their content. I tried accessing Miro by signing in as those users but not a single one of them had deleted board in their Trash. It’s either non of those users were owners and board deletion is not related or I’m missing something. I’m using the free version. I created a board a few weeks ago, and shared it with my internship account. I wasn't working in a team, I was solo. Today, I clicked on the board, and a notification popped up, telling me I did not have permission to access that board, and I had to ask it to its owner. But I am the sole owner! I also received a pop-up to create team… after creating a team the board is lost!!I cant find it anywhere, in the 1 team I created… and I don't have any trash.This board is extremely important, I have the link, but neither my personal account nor my internship account can access it. what to do?

It seems like the latest Miro app update changed the presentation mode keyboard behavior a bit. On both the windows and mac app the arrow keys now slide the frame around the presentation, not advance the frame. This broke a few of our remotes. Thankfully we had one that used page down not right / left arrow. Is there any way to turn this function off of switch the behavior back? We really liked those remotes.

.. I’ve seen a few conversations around this so - unless hear back - will conclude there’s still no option to save work locally so alas, unlikely to use and recommend your useful looking software.  Cheers Harry (Cronulla, NSW)

How do I copy all the graphic elements I created in Adobe Illustrator and then pasting it in Miro without it being one image? I still want to be able to click on each graphic separately while in Miro? I’m hoping I don’t need to copy and paste each graphic element one by one. 

With various work streams and services within our business, we really need to be able to group board into folders. When will this feature be released?
