Miro - What we launched in May 2022miro blog
May was a future-looking month of innovation for Miro, with a slate of newly released product updates, making diagrams more robust and stylish and workflows more secure and streamlined. At Miro Next, our virtual conference, we unveiled a new platform and variety of new features and integrations designed to help organizations unlock new ways of collaborating and innovating, pushing beyond the boundaries of a typical digital whiteboard. With the launch of our new platform, we’re moving towards a vision of Miro everywhere. “At Miro, we think we need a different model of working altogether, one that responds to the needs for greater connectedness in a complex, hybrid world,” Varun Parmar, Miro’s Chief Product Officer, said at the conference. “Ultimately, we are creating more meaningful interaction, co-creativity, and inclusivity through a better way of working.” 🔗 To see how Miro’s latest improvements can help your team work better together, check out our roundup of releases from May.
Anonymous mode The new version of Private Mode on sticky notes allows you and your team to re-word, prepare, and consider ideas completely anonymously.Experience a safe space to run retrospectives and feedback sessions on Miro. When we say anonymous, we mean anonymous -- No authors in user-experience: Cursors and hover-over names are anonymized (names and colors) No labels on interface: Author labels would say “Anonymous” forever Back-end panels anonymised: Widget info would note “Anonymous” for ‘Created by’Interested in trying it? On October 13-15, we hosted Distributed 2020 — our second annual virtual conference. This year, we brought together industry leaders and experts to help answer the burning questions on the minds of thousands of teams working remotely around the world. We had 24 information-packed presentations, interactive workshops, and panel discussions to tackle these burning questions. We were incredibly honored and excited to welcome over 30,000 registrants and hosted between 1,300 and 3,000 live viewers for each session. We’ve gathered the video recordings, visual notes, and Miro boards for each session in the blog post: Recap of Distributed: The virtual event to help teams adapt, evolve, and thrive - MiroBlog | A blog by Miro Recordings are also available in our YouTube playlist. Remote after 2020: Remote forever, distributed, or something else? (visual notes by Bea Broskova, www.humancraft.cz) Have you attended the event? Please share your feedback in the comments below!

Hey Miro Fam 👋,We have a cool new update for all you who cluster your Sticky Notes. Introducing Cluster by Keyword, which identifies and groups Sticky Notes together based on similar content, supported by an AI-algorithm. And what’s more? You can easily move Sticky Notes between clusters or move entire clusters in one shot. How it works: The AI-model identifies similarities in the text of Sticky Notes and groups them together in containers, generating keyword titles for each cluster. To move a Sticky Note, simply drag-and-drop it under the cluster of your choice. Cluster by Keyword Go ahead and speed up your analysis process! Hi Miro Community 👋,We've got a very exciting update about something that a lot of you have been asking for: you can now format text in Miro cards with a new text formatting toolbar! You were already able to do this by using shortcuts, but we realized through your feedback that not a lot of users knew about this and it was hard for those who didn't know the shortcuts off the top of their head 🙃. So, we iterated and added the toolbar to make it easier for everyone to format text in cards however they want. We’ll also be adding even more formatting options soon, so stay tuned 😄!Here's a 1-minute screen recording I created to show how it works.Head to your Miro board and try it out! And don't forget to let us know your feedback. Happy formatting,Steven P.S. many more improvements to cards coming soon! 😉

Today, Miro released our new report, “A Year of Remote Work,” in which we surveyed 1,000 remote workers to see how remote work has affected their personal lives, professional lives, and mental health. Among our findings: Nearly half (49%) of people who are married or in live-in partnerships say that working from home has improved their relationship with their spouse or partner. 62% of parents with children under 18 say that working from home has improved their relationships with their kids. 57% of remote workers say they are more likely to multitask during virtual meetings than they were before the pandemic. One-third of knowledge workers (33%) are awake for less than 20 minutes before they begin work in the morning.I’m interested in hearing from Miro users whether these (or any other findings in the report) resonate. Any thoughts?
