Hello,I am facing the constantly growing challenge of how to keep up to date a frame that is also used on other boards. A solution to this would be:The possibility to copy the frame to another board The possibility to synchronize the content of the frame to the board where the frame is used
Our company is using Power BI more and more and I would love to be able to create process maps with live data from Power BI. Right now, Power BI limits the page size requiring multiple tabs and I would love to visualize my data with the Miro features.
I would like to ability for cards or stickies to calculate load during Program Increment planning. Would it be possible to assign them a tag number and if put in a given sprint, it calculates the load for that sprint? Otherwise we have to manually calculate the load as we are moving stories around - which is not ideal.
By working in SCRUM (or PI planning), during the planning, it is necassery to make a sum of story points in order to see if the cap fit with the sprint The idea will beBy selecting a set of jira cards, it should be possible to see the sum of story points
When you import from Azure Dev Ops, the Azure Cards import does not bring over the story points!! Creates a headache having to go re-enter all of that information.
Clear white background from pasted image like a https://www.remove.bg/
I predominantly use a mouse, and the wheel to scroll. I found that I can scroll vertically through the apps in the left-vertical content creation toolbar (sticky notes, frames, cards, etc.), but when I open the Stickers and Emojis app and need to get to the a sticker pack down/over in the list, e.g., Miro Monster, horizonal scrolling does not work.To get around this, I have to either mouse-wheel though the stickers themselves, or click on the farthest right sicker packs to advance the list towards the end.My Wish List IdeaTo be able to be horizontally scroll left/right by wheeling my mouse up/down. I believe some CSS like this could work → https://stackoverflow.com/questions/18481308/set-mouse-wheel-to-horizontal-scroll-using-cssWorkaroundsThere are a few workarounds, includingHolding the Shift key while wheeling my mouse Pressing down on my mouse wheel [button] and moving my mouse left/right.
New frames used to default to transparent/no colour, and I honestly cannot remember if Miro would remember if I changed the background colour to something other than “no colour” and would create subsequent frames with my updated colour preference. However, ever since Miro made the change to make every new frame white, I am constantly having to change them to “no colour”.This behaviour is not consistent with the way other objects act during a Miro board session, e.g., Sticky Notes colours and Text and Shape colour/font/etc. Please respect my frame colour selection and use that for all new frames created during that board session. This is also jarring and annoying when I have now set the majority of my board’s background colour to grey/dark grey/really dark grey and every time I create a frame it’s, like, a Big Bang flash of white!
I’d like the ability to paste code snippets and have them format according to the language (auto-detected with the option to chose from a drop down)It’s actually available on here, but not on Miro (at least I haven’t found it yet!So this:{ "working_dir": "spps", "extension": "spp", "folders": [ "_in", "_out" ]}Would be displayed like this:{ "working_dir": "spps", "extension": "spp", "folders": [ "_in", "_out" ]}[edit] Looks like posting broke the formatting. I’d like the code to display clean like it does on stackoverflow:https://stackoverflow.com/a/63302229/4991204
I would like to be able to customize the background and replace the lined-grid with a dotted-grid, like I have in notebooks. Changing the background color would be nice too.
Like in illustrator, I would like to be able to copy an object from one frame to another in the exact same location from the top left corner of the frame.
Hi there! I constantly use the frames sidebar to move to and fro when explaining a topic during a training. The only shortcut that I could find related to frames is “F”, which creates a new frame. What I’d really find useful is a shortcut that shows and hides the Frames sidebar. Hopefully, when it shows it, it’d change focus there, so that one can move along the list of frames with the keyboard only. Thanks! Alan
When I look at the list of boards for a team, I don’t want to have to mentally sort through which boards are part of a project, vs at the top level. As far as I can tell, there is no way to filter on just the top level. There are 2 choices to see the boards in a Team:All boardsSelect one of the projects to see just the boards for that projectWhy no choice to see boards not in projects???
Please, it’s just annoying and nothing else. It is bugging me so much that i really hate opening Miro.
It should be possible for the desktop app (and probably the browser) to remember the email I use to login and whether I use SSO. At the moment I have to click multiple times and sometimes enter my email address in over and over.
When there is content on multiple sticky notes and I’d like to clear them out... Current state: I’ve to go into each sticky note and remove the text.Future state: I can highlight all the stickies > click on the three dots and select an option to clear content.
Whether anyone had struggles while clearing text inside elements (e.g. sticky notes), with the upfront fear that there are more than 10-15-20-25 elements waiting in the line requiring the same process to repeat again and again? To delete text from the element:Double-click element text Double-click element text Remove text Next elementor maybe for better oriented people:Double-click element ctrl+A Remove text Next element What if ONLY text could be deleted from multiple selection of elements? Why not just select multiple elements, and select option to clear text only? Maybe even some shortcut to that? This could help people to reduce “continuous mechanical work” by repeating the same process dozens of time. The only alternative to overcome “Delete & retype” is to use template (save, load), but again, nobody wants to create that so many templates just because they want to clear the text from multiple selection of elements.I checked every Miro shortcuts & hotkeys, and there's no way to do it.Not really sure if anyone saw the problem in this, but I'm sure many of you would like the shortcut.Looking forward to discuss about this!
I’d like to see a setting that would disable the public sharing link after a preset period of time either by the board owner or company admin. Additionally, as a company admin, I would like the ability to require setting a password if sharing a public link.
I would like to select multiple sticky notes and delete the content without deleting the sticky notes. This would allow me to reuse an existing template..
Hi!After a recent update all tabs have a "visual workspace for innovation" added after the names of my boards, and i want to learn how to turn it off, because everything looks very cluttered with this text addition, my tab bar, basically, looks a wall of text ow and that is hard to visually navigate. I was not able to find a toggle where i could turn it off, I tried adding description to my boards, but to no availit looks like this: If i open more than 3 tabs, it looks like a mess and it makes it hard to find the tab that i need when i am working.
I would like the ability to EMBED a board into another board as a frame.Just like I can PASTE an image, PDF or PPT file which remains linked, or use Web Page Capture. This would allow me to Link work across multiple boards.Other ideas:Pasted board would remain linked, unless broken (becomes a copy).Clicking an embedded board would open that board normally.
