Everything You Need to Know About Miro Wish List
The Wish List is where we gather ideas directly from members of the Miro Community to help us make Miro even better. Excited to contribute? Here’s eve

What do you wish you could do with Miro? Add your dream features and support other ideas by upvoting them.
As a Agile Coach who facilitates workshops, meetings, and runs training sessions I want flippable cards, where text, backgrounds, images, etc. are editable on each side independently so that I can simulate playing cards, flash cards, index cards, planning poker, delegation poker, moving motivators, etc. cards This could also be beneficial for people looking to run other types of games in Miro as well MVP: can create a flippable card can customize each side can ‘play’ card one direction and then flip it to see the other side Large Feature AC: easily create multiple cards of the same size and shape ability to create set of cards with one side (the ‘back’ of the card) the same text/image/etc. cards can be organized into ‘decks’ or ‘packs’ cards can be ‘shuffled’ cards can be dealt face down or face up ability to look at ‘private hand’ of the cards and sort, organize, etc
I would absolutely love a robust color management tool set. It’s too easy to lose palettes and brand standards in the current dot matrix. Swatches from the Adobe CC Suite are a great starting reference point. A double wish-list item would be to integrate with a service like Coolors that can generate palettes based on primary or secondary colors, to quickly iterate off brand hex values. Here are some possibilities Collapsible navigation Drag and Drop Re-Ordering Palette Export / Import Search engine that allows searching by mood, brand or keyword Palette generation and color locking feature I took a few minutes and drafted a mock-up inside Miro to get the point across. Would be curious what ideas others have. Feel free to copy / paste and add on to the starting point below, just re-lock my shapes when you’re done and add your name and date in the frame to serve as a timestamp. Excited to see what the community comes up with!
I wish there were an on/off button to autoplay all GIFs on a board. This would make it easier to present ideas and save so much time from having to click play on every single GIF.
We have some kind of hierarchical board structure, with team boards and product/program boards. For some items it would be extremely handy to have some information on a board mirrored into another board, usually for information and context but sometimes for collaborating Using a single board where everyone is piling in all the information is not practical and becomes confusing pretty soon. What I’m looking is a kind of “wormhole frame” that is part of two or more boards and ideally can be edited on all boards it is in. A good half-way would be the frame updated live but only editable in the original board, with a the wormhole frame on the secondary boards simply showing its contents live. Is this already possible in any way? Cheers, Carlo
Re the new Doc object. Please add a shortcut to Headings, similar to in Google Docs, MS Word, and Confluence, to name a few.The shortcut I use in Windows (and presumably Cmd + Option works?) are:Ctrl + Alt + 1 → Heading 1 Ctrl + Alt + 2 → Heading 2 Ctrl + Alt + 3 → Heading 3 Ctrl + Alt + 0 → Normal (in Confluence, at least)
Hi there, I would love to use Chevron type of shapes. Unfortunately, they are not offered the shape selection. Is there a way to expand the standard shapes? Thanks! Cheers Michael
I would like to see the slide number being shown in both Focus and Canvas mode.Canvas mode: Currently no number shown. Would like to see something like this: Focus mode: Currently can only see the number if the slide is selected - the number should always be visible: PowerPoint example:
There seems to be no way to export voting result data at all. We use Miro for workshops with large groups of people on separate frames and want to be able to present voting in plenary after the workshop without having to type everything by hand. Even better: if the data exports in CSV format, we could make a graph to show the number of votes per option.
Before the new Spaces dashboard was rolled out (around September 2024), the board context menu would open to the left of the ellipsis, e.g.:Board overflow position in old/pre-Spaces dashboard When the new Spaces dashboard was rolled out, the menu now opens above or below the ellipsis (depending on the position of the board and the available viewport. This creates two pain points, the first of which impacts me daily:More often than not, the user needs to scroll to find some options as they are not all visible. The ellipsis of other boards is obscured by the overflow menu.Example:Board overflow position in the new, Spaces dashboardThe AskPlease revert back to the old behaviour and move it to the left of the ellipsis. BONUSPlease make the template carrousel collapsible (or hidable altogether) as it contributes to my current issue (PS, I don’t use the carrousel).
This applies to:Docs Diagrams Slides TablesWhen I enter Focus Mode, the title of the Format is lost.
Hi, we primarily use Miro for process improvement kaizen events. We do a lot of process mapping and swim lane maps. It would be nice to be able to import and export Visio since the Visio mapping tools are much more robust. Either that, or a tool similar to the new Kaizen where you can easily add rows and columns.
When in canvas mode, the slide format is a single row. With my board flow being mostly vertical, it can look unpleasant:
There are some advanced flow charts we use Diagrams.net (draw.io) for as Miro isn’t fantastic for complex flow charts. it would be great if we could import these files and we can move elements around. (I realize we can export a png from diagrams.net and import that into Miro, but it would be nice to interact with the specific objects in the flow chart.) Thanks!
As already suggested here - but in a bundle: the entries in the timeline (work package) should either be Miro cards or be able to be converted into such and consequently into Jira cards. In my view, this is essential to ensure a consistent usage paradigm for Miro.Note: Within our company, the timeline feature is perceived as “sexy”, but is unfortunately useless as we manage tasks etc. in Jira cards.
I would love to see a plugin/app that focuses on presenting a visually stunning timeline roadmap from epics from Jira. Some great features would be: Jira cards betters suited visually for a timeline roadmap (showing only Title or showing Title and Percent Complete) Segmenting the timelines headers and subheaders by selected Jira fields
I’m really liking the new roadmap template that’s recently been released. My company use the Jira integration’s Jira cards to map timelines etc especially for our PI Planning. However, it appears that only standard Miro cards can be dropped on to the timeline and not the Jira cards. This reduces the usefulness of the new template. It would be really great if the Jira cards could be dropped onto the timeline soon.
Is it possible to have a way to synchronise a Miro Kanban Framework with a JIRA board ?For exemple, if I had a JIRA card placed at the same time in Doing column in my Miro Kanban Framework and my JIRA board and I wanted to move it in Done column in my Miro Kandan Framework, I would like it moves it in the same column in my JIRA board.
We frequently find that it would be useful to update a label or other bit of text in one place on the whiteboard and have it automatically update in other places. For example, we have a 2×2 scenarios grid, meaning it has 4 quadrants. Each quadrant is assigned to a team, and each team has some exercises to do for that quadrant. Next to each exercise, we reproduce that team’s quadrant of the grid. If we rename the quadrant, we’d like the name to change everywhere it appears on the whiteboard. Similarly, each team has the same set of exercises. If we rename an exercise, we’d like the name of that exercise to change on each team’s section of the whiteboard. So, basically, I’m asking for a text box that auto-populates by copying the content of another text box.
I want the ability to create a “master frame” and duplicate it visually while maintaining updates universally. So, for example, I make a “goal setting” frame with some content initially, and then for each weekly meeting I can make a “weekly meeting” frame and within that weekly meeting can essentially embed the “goal setting” frame, so we can review and update the content week to week, while using an updated standard agenda, and the “goal setting” “master frame” is always up to date.this could also be made to work across boards so you could have “master” content on frames somewhere on a private board, but then on the shared board see and update the “master” content.
