Hey people ! This is more like requests what i’m posting here, but i don’t want to contact directly by mail for these requests. First : I’m a student programming and i use a lot of mindmap in my projects organization. I think it could be usefull for programmers like me to include small part of code with a colored synthax like this : int main(int argc, char **argv){ printf("hello world !"); return(42);} Second : I love dark modes and i think they are more and more important for users theses days. I don’t found it so i think there isn’t this feature. I know it’s a ton of work in UI perspective but it’s a really worth of users comfort. Is there a way to get rid of this? Who thought we wanted a panel prominently displayed in the canvas, permanently asking where we should start on boards that are well past starting?IMO it’s annoying and not a great implementation of this feature.

Ability to link directly to a Miro teamDelivered

I can link to boards, but not the Team (the landing screen for the Team is the one that says “Boards in this team...”)When on a Team landing page the URL is always “https://miro.com/app/dashboard/” irrespective of what Team you currently have selected.Linking to a board means the user ends up looking at a specific board instead of the Team landing page, and clicking e.g. the “miro” name/link takes you to the last team you manually selected rather than the team for the board you were just looking at …. And as another wish list poster put it:Would love to see the ability to have a link to a Team space so I can point someone in that direction and they can see all the boards for that team

Presentation Mode: Make all hotkeys and shortcuts available when creation tools hiddenDelivered

When a presentation is started and the creation tools are enabled, shortcuts and hotkeys work, e.g., Ctrl-Z/V, C, T, N, S, C.But, when the creation tools are disabled, all shortcut and hotkeys – except for C – stop working.I expect shortcuts and hotkeys always work.

Talktrack: Real-time feedback that microphone is workingDelivered

There have been times where my dynamic microphone was physically switched off/muted, but was still plugged in, so even though my computer/the browser/Miro's Talktrack feature could detect it, no audio was being picked up during the Talktrack recording.Please implement a real-time visual indicator that will provide the user with immediate feedback that:their voice is being picked up and the level at which it is being picked up, e.g., if they are perhaps too far away, the gain may be too low, etc.Here is an example from the Loom app:

I enjoy Miro but have lots of materials as PowerPoint slides. Is there a way to import from PowerPoint slides into Miro instead of creating them from the scrap in Miro? Thanks

Possibility to copy an item mirroring it. What I mean by this is, if I copy image (or text) A to place B, it would be great if when someone changes that item in place A, the item in Place B would update accordingly and automatically.

We frequently find that it would be useful to update a label or other bit of text in one place on the whiteboard and have it automatically update in other places. For example, we have a 2×2 scenarios grid, meaning it has 4 quadrants. Each quadrant is assigned to a team, and each team has some exercises to do for that quadrant. Next to each exercise, we reproduce that team’s quadrant of the grid. If we rename the quadrant, we’d like the name to change everywhere it appears on the whiteboard. Similarly, each team has the same set of exercises. If we rename an exercise, we’d like the name of that exercise to change on each team’s section of the whiteboard. So, basically, I’m asking for a text box that auto-populates by copying the content of another text box.

Hi, we primarily use Miro for process improvement kaizen events. We do a lot of process mapping and swim lane maps. It would be nice to be able to import and export Visio since the Visio mapping tools are much more robust. Either that, or a tool similar to the new Kaizen where you can easily add rows and columns.

I would absolutely love a robust color management tool set. It’s too easy to lose palettes and brand standards in the current dot matrix. Swatches from the Adobe CC Suite are a great starting reference point. A double wish-list item would be to integrate with a service like Coolors that can generate palettes based on primary or secondary colors, to quickly iterate off brand hex values. Here are some possibilities Collapsible navigation Drag and Drop Re-Ordering Palette Export / Import Search engine that allows searching by mood, brand or keyword Palette generation and color locking feature I took a few minutes and drafted a mock-up inside Miro to get the point across. Would be curious what ideas others have. Feel free to copy / paste and add on to the starting point below, just re-lock my shapes when you’re done and add your name and date in the frame to serve as a timestamp. Excited to see what the community comes up with!

Share content between Miro boards / Board within boardDelivered

We have some kind of hierarchical board structure, with team boards and product/program boards. For some items it would be extremely handy to have some information on a board mirrored into another board, usually for information and context but sometimes for collaborating Using a single board where everyone is piling in all the information is not practical and becomes confusing pretty soon. What I’m looking is a kind of “wormhole frame” that is part of two or more boards and ideally can be edited on all boards it is in. A good half-way would be the frame updated live but only editable in the original board, with a the wormhole frame on the secondary boards simply showing its contents live. Re the new Doc object.Please add a shortcut to Headings, similar to in Google Docs, MS Word, and Confluence, to name a few.The shortcut I use in Windows (and presumably Cmd + Option works?) are:Ctrl + Alt + 1 → Heading 1 Ctrl + Alt + 2 → Heading 2 Ctrl + Alt + 3 → Heading 3 Ctrl + Alt + 0 → Normal (in Confluence, at least)
