I want to get an Miro access token programmatically in my application and for that I am following all the steps mentioned in document https://developers.miro.com/docs/getting-started-with-oauth - Getting started with OAuth 2.0 and Miro. While performing step no.3, i.e. exchanging an authorization code for an access token, I constantly get 401 - oauthError - Invalid authorization code: auth_code received in step no.2.
Hello! I am preparing a workshop to be conducted by Miro. One of the essential features for conducting it will be Screen Sharing feature, where participants can follow my screen. I've used it several times and it worked perfectly, but today when I clicked my entire screen was frozen and I had to reload the board. I cannot use the function, nor does the Start button appear on the screen. Is this problem happening to anyone else? Is there any solution? Other people on my team tested and had the same problem. Thank you!
I have tried every way I can think of to sign into my Miro account from Notion App to work on my Miro items within Notion. But I have failed! Is it actually possible (because it certainly looks like it…) to have a two-way sync with Miro in Notion? In the browser, I have be able to get full editing rights, but in the Notion App I can only view… and that’s exactly where I want to work.. in Notion… I have read from older posts that only viewing is possible, but if it’s possible to work in the browser… surely it’s possible to work in the app?? The actual issue I’m facing is that the sign-in keeps failing… After I click the “sign in” button in Miro in Notion, it takes me to the browswer to login… but once I complete the sign-in info it just dies… “Redirecting” for ever… so this is where it’s failing…I do have at least 3 profiles I use in Google which may have caused sign-on confusion, but I’ve tried signing out of all profiles, and just using the one I want to use Miro with… I also have a
Hello,I can’t Embed an HTML link from WordWall site. When I do it the follow error appears:"Sorry, it looks like the URL that you are using is incorrect. Please check the URL for typos and try again"Can you tell me what's going on? Some weeks ago everything was OK.Thank you.
Hi All, I have been through the previous posts on this fault, black screen, and tried the solutions but no joy. - restarted laptop - tried another device (mobile) - downloaded the Miro App - I can’t copy and paste content to another board becuas I can’t see the content to copy itThe black screen is on both my laptop and phone. I have the paid version. My only thought is a guest has jumped on and done something (!) or there is too much data on the Board? Any help would be much apprecaited as this is client work and is looking bad n me as I introduced them to Miro. Thanks in advance, Ewan Update - now no Boards are opening for me. They are freezing on a white window with just a couple of frames showing but no content. It is trying to open but stuck. My laptop did updates today but this should not effect my mobile phone opening the Miro Boards.
Hi, maybe I need more coffee but i’m struggling to understand the pricing system here… I’m a consultant, CRO and copywriting. Typically I’ll have a single client on the go, sometimes two. Rarely three. Right now i use a project management plugin (WPProject) for Wordpress in a subdomain, for collaboration, file sharing and such, and that let’s me keep different clients away from each other. I understand the Consultant plan does the same or similar. Where I’m confused is the whole user thing. What exactly does “1+” mean? One plus what? I can have more than one? I can’t have more than.. me? So how do I consult? One client? One plus client..? What? So there’s me, that’s $15, but if I have a client, which would seem the point of a consultant plan, is that another $15? Or is one (plus?) client included? With my current system I can assign a client the role of ‘Client’. Easy. Clients can comment and stuff but have limited rights. I’m trying to figure out if I’d actually have to pay twice, fo
This has just started happening - created a swimlane diagram and added a bunch of objects all interconnected just fine. Returned to it later and suddenly any time I tried to drag in a connecting line between two objects it immediately disappears. Only happens over the swimlanes. Swimlane diagram isn’t locked, cell resize auto or manual doesn’t make a difference. It still works to create a separate connecting line from scratch or duplication and drag it into place but obviously this is very slow. Any suggestions?Edit: Tested in both Chrome and Edge, and with a cloned swimlane diagram, a new one created from a template or as an object from the Diagramming menu, it happens in all cases.
The loading of my Miro boards has gone to crap over the last few weeks. Has anything changed on Miro's end? Is there anything we can do to improve performance? We are heavy picture users. Many of the jpegs on our board just show a gray box with the blue loading circle, but they never finish loading.I’m on Windows 10 with the latest updates. I have tried Chrome, Firefox, and the Miro standalone app. They are all performing poorly.
Hi, I’ve been trying to export my artboard as a PDF and all the images I had in the artboard are showing up as broken links. See the image attached for reference. On Miro (web version) the images are fine, but this happens only when I’m exporting to PDF, its fine when I export to jpg but the resolution is not what I want. I am using a pro account so this shouldn’t be happening. PLEASE HELP!
HiWe have a board which is bigger then 1000 widgets. The List Widget (https://developers.miro.com/reference#get-board-widgets-1) has a limit of 1000. We tried the option to use the filteroption and get only the FRAMES and then load all the children by the https://developers.miro.com/reference#get-board-widget But.. (as expected) we get the "message" : "Request rate limit exceed", We can put more time for calling the 1000+ times on the webservice, but that does not seem ideally. But maybe there is an other way? As an idea… Is it possible to add a REST service, which can get multiple Widgets by multiple ids? So as a parameter a list of Ids to get from the boar? Best regards,
In preperation of a workshop this morning (as we speak) we cannot load the Boards. Some users cannot open the boards, others view the board after refreshing it about 4 times or more. Anyone facing similar issues? Is it network-based? Miro-based? Anyone knows the remedy? Cheers, Matthijs
Hey there!Looking for a way to place a video on a Miro board? You can upload the video to a video-sharing platform (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) and simply paste the video link on a board using the shortcuts Ctrl/Cmd+C/Ctrl/Cmd+V. The media will be displayed right on the board! Please keep in mind that the visual preview is only shown if the source service settings allow it: private videos are not displayed on Miro boards but you can go to the video source.
I’ve installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled the MIRO app for ZOOM several times. I click the Miro app while in ZOOM and a blank screen loads. I’ve never been able to get to a Miro log in screen (I have a Miro consultant plan account) or a Miro board that someone else is sharing while in ZOOM. Seeking trouble shooting suggestions. Thank you
Externally, I would like to know when certain changes are made to the Miro Board. I loath polling and comparison models.I think toying with the idea of making an Heroku or Glitch web-plugin that monitors the events of the board and sends a POST request to an external system. Is anyone else doing anything similar?
Hello, First, the FAQ states that when copying cells from a spreadsheet and pasting in Miro, each cell should appear as a individual post-it. It does not. As far as I am concerned, I get a single text box with each cell becoming a line of text. Also, it seems impossible to simply select a few post-its and paste their content as a list / multiple cells in a word document / spreadsheet. While Miro is integrated in lots of other tools and this is great, not supporting this seemingly simple feature is a terrible waste of time (Mural supports it for example). So, am I doing things wrong or is it really not possible? (And don’t tell me that I need to export a CSV file, please… ) Thanks in advance for the support Regards, Maxime
I use the “Make Participants Follow Me” feature and it works great. But eventually I want make them unfollow me and I can’t figure out how to do that. I want to have them unfollow me when I’m done with a focus-talk on something and now want to go ahead with some other work, but unless they take control of their own view, they will passively continue to follow me and I want a way to be able to just make it stop for all. If a participant does go his/her own way, and then I follow their view, then everyone who is still following me also follows them.Am I missing something?
Hi, I’m making lecture videos using Miro and Zoom’s local recording function. It worked very well, and I love this combination. But from yesterday (28 April), I’ve been experiencing a "Syncing... Please wait \\ Receiving a response from the server. We recommend that you wait ** sec to avoid data loss." panel repeatedly appearing on the Miro app. I tried the web-browser app, another net connection, different time slots (morning, daytime, evening, midnight). What does this message mean? Is this a server-side problem, or some performance issue in my environment? is there any way to avoid it? Miro 0.3.32 on MacOS 10.12.6, iMac late 2012 Core i7, 32GB memory

Let’s say I’m on a consulting plan and want to provide access to my boards to some of my clients via day passes: Is it possible to give them access to my boards as editors without the need that they create a Miro account or registration in general? Background: I’m living in a country where data privacy is an important concern. So some of my clients are concerned about registering for your platform and would like to completely avoid this. Technically, I’m thinking about sharing links with corresponding access rights (like Google or OneDrive does it) where my clients just need to enter their names. Is this or any other solution possible in Miro?
