Previously in Miro, when pasting a website link, Miro would grab preview information from the page and display this in a small box panel.Discussed in this thread:When you paste a website in Miro, what determines the information displayed. | Miro However now, when I paste a link, the preview is not created any more. The link just displays as a plain text only hyperlink. Why did the previews stop working? These were great for research, collecting links and URLs, etc. It is much harder to organise and visualise the text only links. Can this automatic functionality be restored? I don’t want to have to manually take screenshots of each site. Also the description and image pulled through was better than a screenshot.
I’m getting an error as I try to use Google Drive as well. My error says “400. That’s an error. The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.” I’ve done all of the things suggested above. I’m using fiber optic internet connection, so it’s quite fast. Is there anything else you can suggest-- is this a “known issue”?
Can’t login to my account from various browsers and desktop appI guess for Miro product managers that is not that important, because they are focusing on some groundbeaking featuring like background color change, or picture on loading screen, but I hope that issue will make a cut on a next grooming session…
Every time I try to use the middle click to navigate the scene, it would automatically paste something
Hi, I’m using Google Chrome in Ubuntu 20.04 to access Miro. Every time I try to use the middle click to navigate the scene, it would automatically paste something. Is there anyway to disable the middle click to paste function in Miro?
Hello! I’m super stoked on the XD Miro plugin. Seriously excited as this is going to expedite my teams workflow fo sho. Now here’s the question… Is the quality of the import fixed as it is now or is there a possible plan for settings or permanent improvement? It is considerably less quality than when copy pasting an artboard in from XD. It wouldn’t be a big deal but copy is nearly illegible and we use miro for copy writers to make comments on changes. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Hello.I created a new miro account using my work email address today. I wanted to try out miro for work.I believe our company actually has bought the software so how can I delete my personal account so that I can recreate a new account for work using the same email address?I only created the account today so I do not have anything that needs to be saved.
Hi, is there a way for me to resize multiple shapes to the same size? We didn’t think through our process thoroughly enough at the start, and now have 1000+ shapes that need to be resized to the same size for clarity. If there is no feature for it, is there a way to script it? I’ve done similar scripts for illustrator but don’t know how I would go about running them within Miro.
Hey all! Hollis here from the Miro content team. I’m a recent university grad where I was heavily involved in academic research and I’m curious: any professors, students, or academic researchers out there using Miro in your research process? Would love to see examples of boards, processes, etc. if you have any! Hoping to enable those in academia with Miro :)
Hello, We have a few question on GDPR and DPA (Data processing agreement). The US-EU privacy shield has been invalidated recently by the EU court of justice. Unfortunately, in your DPA you are still referring to this shield… but even more than this, in its decision, the European court of justice imposes the Data processors to indicate which supplementary measures are taken to ensure a good level of data protection next to the SCC. We tried to contact your DPO at email@example.com to discuss this as it’s not mentioned in your online documentations but we still have no reply so far. Could someone support us here as it’s important to be GDPR compliant. Many thanks for your support!
I’m not sure, but I believe I saw an option to disable all those stupid animated popups. Now, after years of using board, it decided to teach me like “hey, look, its a mouse cursor! you can move it and here is animation for you!” and I trying to find where this “help” should be turned off?
Can I make a Miro template, embed it in a website, let people edit the board and save it locally, without changing the original template?
I am making a Learning Management System, E-learning platform. I need to embed a Miro board with some exercises for my users. I need to give them the possibility of editing the board and possibly save it on their computers. At the same time, I need the original Miro board to remain untouched for the other users that will access it. Is it possible?
I am working with story boards and have some detail in sub-tasks under a Jira story. I am able to find and insert a Jira story into my Miro story board fine, but I would like to see the sub-tasks too. When I edit the Jira story within Miro, I can’t even see the sub-tasks. Is there something I can do to be able to work with story sub-tasks?
I’m on a paid plan. I have some simple wireframes I need to export as jpegs. But when I click on a board > … > export as image > the only option to export is as a PDF….Can someone show me show to allow me to export as a Jpg please??I see the jpeg option, it’s just greyed out and not clickable….
