Hello, I was wondering which role can create and edit company templates? or in other words is any other role able to create and edit company templates besides the company admin? 

Is any other option available for export the board in format of image using miro API?

Hello, Miro Community!I have a old account. I have a Team which I cant delete. On the team account I have “Delete Account” button instead “Delete Team”. Hi, we currently have the problem that we have different users on one board. Internal employees External employees (freelancers) CustomersHowever, if we invite a user, he/she will get access to all boards in the team, but he/she does not have access to a board yet. I am working for a larger organization which has Domain SSO enabled for their users. We are working on building a custom app for Miro, but when I follow the instructions on the Getting Started page, and click the Get Dev Team to Create an App, I get an error that says: “Domain users are not allowed to create any accounts outside of their domain organization.” We have been building the tool in our own development project, but it’s now time to hand it over to the company and I don’t see how to add it in their organization’s settings. Our ‘API, SDK & Embed’ tab looks very different from theirs.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys,I am new to Miro and was wondering how you can move shapes and textboxes to a different place? When I try to do that it changes the size of the shape but does not move the object. Would really appreciate your help.Raphaela

Hi, I’m missing both countdown timer and voting plugins from the bottom toolbar (they were never there). Both apps appear as “Installed” from the marketplace. I tried to reinstall them, that didn’t help. What may be the problem? Thanks   

How do I return to the collaborators’ cursor display to the upper-right corner? Instead, the “meet” button.

Hi,I’m new here and having some trouble figuring out how to use this. (In browser mode.)Lately I often find myself in overwrite mode when writing and editing my text which makes it very hard to go back and change something in the middle of a text.Is there a command that switches between overwrite and insert? Or is it a Windows/keyboard thing?

As I continue to work on one of my boards, I am adding a lot of new items every time I work on them.Lately I realise that some of the items on it are missing, it is like the first items are erased as I continue to add new ones.Is there a limit of items on a board? How come they continue to disappear?

We are looking to create some boards to replace static content that is currently on whiteboards using printed magnets. I began building a proof-of-concept on my computer (FHD / 1080p), and all seemed to be going well. (We would be using sticky notes heavily, as they perform the same function we currently have with magnets.)However when viewing on a 4k screen, the resolution / pixelation on the sticky notes is TERRIBLE. When the entire board is viewed the text inside the sticky notes isn’t even legible.Has anyone else had issues with image clarity / resolution at 4k?

I see Miro has a ton of business strategy templates. I was curious if there is a template based on the E-Myth strategy.Thanks!

Hey guys, Miro is awesome, and to learn more awsomeness of miro I have been playing with miro SDK. I know how to create widgets like card, stickers, lines etc. I want to link one widget, lets say sticker A to some other shape in the same board. Visually, we can do this by selecting sticker A, then “ctrl + k” and selecting the target shape in the board. But I cant figure out how to do this using SDK. PS:- One alternative is to wrap the text of sticker A inside <a href="link to the board object here”>TEXT</a>. But this makes the text a hyperlink, not exactly what I want to accomplish.  

I have a free account and experimented for one project with a colleague who has made an account to join in my team. Now this colleague wants to use Miro for another project in which I’m not involved. He has made a board which automatically is part of my account, which causes a problem because my 3 free boards are taken.  How does my colleague, who already made an account to join my team, make a free account of his own in which he can have his own 3 free boards (and not using mine)?  Thank you! Floortje 

I was searching for a way to enable contributors to contribute without exposing their content to the group until the facilitator exposes them.This is really helpful in retrospectives so that participants do not influence each other with their input. This feature does exist in Mural (private mode).It also exist in free tools like metroretro but here the participants need to expose their stickies to the group (Not really handy for facilitators to rely on the group). Is it correct that this feature is not available? If so is there already a feature request for this feature?

When collaborating with others, we traditionally stand at a whiteboard with something drawn on - let’s say a database diagram. Then someone points at an object or relation and starts asking questions. How do I point at objects in miro? I know I can display everyone’s cursor, but how do I make it clear to everyone what I’m talking about when I’m asking a question? We tend to be 5-10 people in the room, and just finding which cursor is mine isn’t always done instantly.Especially with the excellent zoom features in miro. Other people might be zoomed in on other things when I ask my question. So my objects (and cursor) might be outside of their field of view.

Curious to know what percentage you begin with.   

This is probably the only template I use other tools for still, every time I think I would like to use Miro for all my workshopping, the mindmap gets in the way. The main areas where I feel restricted are:Ability to change shapes & their styles Ability to add labels on the lines Ability to position things the way I would like, for example, the start of the mind map is never centered, always towards the top which looks completely off Future:Mindmap clusters with labels - kind of doable now but it does not move along with the mindmap Please improve this much needed feature!

Sorry if this has been asked before… Is there any way to ‘lock’ the edge of a board so that you cant go any further left, for example. I have a list of tiles that I want to always be on the left of the board, and no one should be able to put anything before them.

Hi everyone! We’re just setting up Miro (with Business plan) in my organization and figuring out how to give team members access without escalating the Day Pass consumption. I’ve checked this article, this video from one of the community answers and this one from Miro course about inviting people to collaborate as Guest Editors whenever there’s no confidential information at risk (which is sometimes the cases and we’d like to avoid consuming Day Passes for these meetings).One of the benefits mentioned for Guest Editors is that “they don’t need to sign in”.Which got me thinking what happens if our team members are invited as Guest Editors but they’re previously signed in and set as Occasional Collaborators (and therefore eligible for Day Passes).When we share the link to invite people anonymously as Guest Editors, what exactly happens with our team members who are Occasional Collaborators and whom we want to invite as Guest Editors as well?Do they click the link and become Guest Editors

Hey all, I wanted to find out if what I am seeing is expected behavior when it comes to integrating a MS Excel workbook. I pointed to an excel file that is on OneDrive (and also have dragged and dropped) onto a Frame in Miro. I also did this with Google Sheets and Google Drive.MS Excel and OneDrive (left image)I’m only able to see a maximum of 2 columns and I have to click the left/right arrows to see the rest of the worksheet Large empty whitespace for the border of the content Double-click opens a zoomed version of the document. The remaining columns are visible etc. But I am not able to edit.Google Sheets (right image)I’m able to see almost the entire worksheet (6 columns). I am a newb, for sure. I am using comments and I found that once I drop a comment, I can grab its header and move the comment body without moving the target (the end of the line stays) but once I place it and then click off of it, that position isn’t saved.If I go back into the comment, the comment body is back in the default position, off slightly to the right, which is in the way of everything I need comments for.Seems if I am able to move the body independent of the line, it should stay where I drop it, no?Thanks for the help.
