Where is the laser pointer tool in Miro?

The company I am at has multiple Miro teams. We would love if there was a level of admin who could move boards from one team to another, delete boards, and move boards to projects without individual board rights given. 

Hi… So I am planning to MiroBoards… like mindmaps etc for my masters thesis. So there is an option to download the boards as images and PDF. I wanted to know the terms of usage.. should I credit it or how do I go about this? Just ensuring the terms of usage since I need to explain this to my supervisor. Thank you

As a group product manager, I need to be able to curate visual roadmap and strategy elements from each of my teams to create an executive summary for my stakeholders.This quickly gets out of date if I have to copy and paste or screenshot from their Miro boards into mine.Having this capability to display frames from other boards in another board would help with keeping a single source of truth and address the document sprawl issues that arise with a large org using Miro.It would also allow you to create a project board that curates from other boards - today I solve that by having my teams keep a shell confluence page with Jira epic links and Miro links and a light project description so we can link all the things together later in a structured way when we need to go back and remember what we did and why.

Hey Nice to finally see the addition of connectors to the SDK (though the change from “Feature request” to “Done” on the roadmap was a little swift and unexpected).  To get to the point though: I  see thatboard.get({type:”connector”})is actually implemented - I can use it in the dev console for example to get only connectors.  But it would seem that the types package- & the documentation are not up to date with this fact?   So this right here produces a compiler error (although an easy workaround is to just cast it). 

For a few days now Miro hasn’t worked properly on my phone, both app and in two different browsers. When I try to “edit” shapes the menu no longer shows up. I can not delete them. It seems to work fine with sticky notes. I have a Samsung S20 FE 

The mindmapping in Miro is ok, but desktop tools are so much better :-)Anyway, after creating a mindmap, and frame it (with a frame), when I move the frame the mindmaps vanish, it is actually gone.Known bug?

I have a simple mind map - however some of the sub items seem to have a different font size. If I change the font size on the central main topic - it increase/decreases all the fonts. I cannot find a way to just amend the sub-topic Any ideas ?

Hi, when I copy and paste a frame, the new frame is placed on top of the copied frame.Is there a setting so the new frame is placed next to the copied frame? 

Hello. I hear Miro generously shows support for Ukraine and thus there has been a possibility for Ukrainian users to get their  plans upgraded for free. Is there still such a possibility? And what is needed for that?I would be grateful for your response. Thanks in advance! 

Hello, I am trying to recover this board: https://miro.com/app/board/o9J_lR6hXvU=/ but unfortunately it seems as if it has been removed or sharing access has been removed. I am the original owner of this board, so I am unsure how this happened. Could you please help me recover this?Thanks a lot!Lauren

on the enterprise plan what usage information is available via API so that i can make sure the licenses are being used effectively ?

I’m not sure why but the name of my team is displayed on the background of every board in my account. Do you know how to remove it? Team name displayed on boards 

Is it just me, or is the ‘copy style’ not working? I can perfectlyright click on an element choose copy style from the menu click on another element and paste the style with the shortcut cmd+option+vBut I can’t replace the second step by shortcut cmd+option+c. It just doesn’t copy it and pastes whatever I have on clipboard from before. Working in the Miro App on latest macOS.

Is there a way to mirror an entire Jira board to Miro? I would like to work with Miro in our daylies, but I don’t want to manually create all the Jira cards for every sprint and maintain their status.

Hi,I’d like to know if we can embed other Miro panels into a more general Miro but without sending changes in real time.For example, we plan to use a primary Miro to share our company roadmaps, and each team will share roadmap updates when they are ready.In the main Miro we want all the roadmaps per team but not with realtime changes, unless a team decides its Roadmap is ready to be shared in the main one.I’m supposing that we can embed different Miros into another one. Thanks!!! 

I’m experiencing an issue where if I can drag a connecting line from one ERD entity field (row) but when I go to connect to another ERD entity field, the connecting line jumps to connect to the whole table rather than just the field. It’s as if the ‘connecting-to’ ERD entity is being treated like a standard square shape.Has anyone else experienced this and would be able to provide guidance on how to resolve?Cheers.

I know I can remove colors from the palette by dragging the swatch out of the box, but if I want to drag to re-order them, the swatch just gets deleted. Is there any way to re-order the palette?

All emails / notifications that I receive are always sent in Spanish. I need to change this to English, but I can’t find out how. My profile is setup to use English.Profile with language set to English​​​​  

When several users are in the same board, they not see the left-side panel where the app is running. They can use the app independently, but it does not show them what the administrator is doing at the moment in his panel.For example, if I'm inserting a word into wordle app , they don't see the word that i am writting ,and they can´t insert a word. But if i add a sticky note they inmediately see it on the board and they can edit it.administrator :member:In the screenshot , both users are at the same time in the same board. Both see the board, but only one the panel app.The panel where the app that I have developed is running does not allow me to share it in real time with the other team members. My question is: is there any possibility that the panel where the app is running can be shared just like the board is shared?

Hi there, I was just working in my miro to make flowcharts. I usually create multiple arrows from one block to other blocks. Miro used to automatically set this arrow to the same point, but now it creates a new place everytime and sticks it to the closest area (see picture for reference of how it was vs how it is now) Is this an new update? or did I change something by accident in my settings? 

I am trying to connect Miro app in Workato, but showing does not match any of the application registered values. To connect with Miro app in Workato, which Redirect URI should I use in Miro app. 

Is there a way to make the images one imports or download more/ less opaque. It would be interesting to have as a way to “see through” one image to see someone else collaborating on top and behind. thanks 

It would be great if we could have a bucket system for story point estimation that is integrated with Jira.  If we drag the cards into a column with the desired Fibonacci sequence number that we select at the start of the session (for my team, for example, I might choose 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 and 13 but you might choose a different sequence).  At the end of the session when all the cards have been dragged into the appropriate columns, I can click on a button to have the story points input into Jira for each of the issues.  As it is right now, I have to double-click on each issue individually and update each Jira card with the story point information. 

Hi. Only noticed happening on kanban template as I use it frequently to keep notes I want to bring up in meetings of upcoming tasks. When Miro reconnects after I have left the page, it scans and deletes my latest updates. Very frustrating and I’ve now had to use another tool to collaborate online. Is this something at Miro’s end or our IT security? Has anyone else noticed this happening
