Using a plan with 2 members, how many guests can we invite? Can I open more than one board at the same time (for a diffent groups)? How many? If it is possible, the audio can be individual for each board/room? Can I put links and video (sharing the screem or upload)? Is there a plan with this itens?
Hello Developer Community! I hope you all had a good weekend. I’m messaging today because I use Miro to facilitate events and game experiences and frequently need to create 20+ boards from a template, make them all ‘editable’ to guests, copy their links and delete them after use. I would LOVE to see the dashboard with these kinds of batch commands - just like you would see in an email inbox. Since this isn’t the case, I’m exploring other ways… is any of this possible through API? If so, how? Thanking you in advance!Sophia
I just upgraded to the Team Plan, and I have four guest editors working on a board (see photo.) The board consists of small (150kb) .pdfs that the editors are marking up in the field via the ipad app. I was really looking forward to seeing how this could work in the field, especially after reading about the extreme (over 100 collaborators in real-time) workload that Miro is supposed to be able to handle. Today is the first time I’ve had four guys working remotely with the app, and two of them have had their toolbar disappear multiple times along with occasional white screen flashing. With the amount of mark-ups (drawing things on the maps) and the amount of editors, am I asking too much out of Miro? I was REALLY looking forward to this being the solution for us, but if this continues, we won’t be able to use it.
Hi Miro team,I’m currently working on a research project exploring the ways to enhance the functionality of Miro boards for SLT practitioners.I’ve been trying out some of the sample code for making custom web widgets with some success. I’ve been able to make several widgets that work in the Dev Team environment and have also been able to publish them to other boards. However, the other users of the boards are unable to use them. I’ve read all the documentation online, but am still unclear about the steps to make my widgets work for others. My code is published via GitHub pages at: https://newcastlerse.github.io/miroI’ve recreated the 'implicit-flow-example' from the miroapp/app-examples repo. This given as an example on the page: https://developers.miro.com/docs/how-to-start#section-3-install-your-web-plugin-to-any-miro-user. On the Dev Team board, I get a pop-up that I click to authorise the widget and it clears the board of all content. My understanding of the implicit-flow-example is
Hello, Community,I’ve got a board with a lot of objects, 1,778. Board navigation performance works just fine. I recently created an additioal 500 objects, and manupulation slowed to a crawl. Is there any specific numerical guidance on how the number of objects impacts performance?I’m using the Miro app running on a new Macbook Pro with 1.5T of available disk storage and 16GB of memory; internet is running at 45 Mbps on the download, and 6 Mbps on the upload. Many thanks….Peter
When we run workshops with members of the public we often make cards or worksheets with labelled boxes for participants to complete as part of an activity. Is there a way to do the same in Miro?To create a set of grouped shapes, with headings and labels, where the shapes, headings and labels are fixed or locked, but participants can edit the text in the appropriate boxes.Particularly with smaller ‘cards’, the participants would typically complete and arrange several cards. So we and they should be able to duplicate a whole card.
I tried to duplicate the mindmap I had. The goal was to get two people to work on two mindmaps at the same time. However the copy version appears to be a static object that doesn’t allow branching out. That is no “plus signs”What’s wrong here? Also, is there a way to get two central nodes for a mindmap?
Hi,we are using the wireframe app and are designing wireframes for mobile devices by adding frames and enabling the “show device” setting of the frame. When exporting a frame (or the board), the device border is never shown, thus the wireframes look very ugly.Is there any feature or hack to also show the device border in the export (pdf or jpg)?ThanksWopr
My company is fairly new to Miro. Currently we have one Miro project per development project, within which we have boards for designs, retrospectives, and various other discussions. The dashboard is now getting quite busy and we were wondering if there is any way to group the boards within a project into something akin to subfolders - so we could separate boards for different purposes? So far it appears as if the only way to achieve this is to add more projects, one for each group. Before I make this change however I was wondering if there was a feature for this I had missed?
Does anyone know of anything that explains shapes, their properties and the transform rules?I’m too confused to be able to correctly state all the transformsI created a text shape and added contents with bullets then decided I’d like a boarder so changed it to a box and the bullets all evaporated and the text became centred and there was no box drawn! - not what I wanted soI think I changed it back and the bullets were truly gone but the centering remained - bizarre that some attributes clear and other stick - and then I realised that it was a box but with a colourless boarder so I set a coloured boarder and then had to manually left align and turn bullets back on and at some point the font-size stopped being something rational because as a text label font size isn’t constrained but as a ‘named’ shape it is constrained - but since there is some ‘what you did last’ attributes that stick I could now draw a cloud with 7000pt font size - but I can’t set its boarder width to be ‘in keeping
Looking for urgent help - have also logged ticket. I subscribed yesterday on monthly plan though CC was declined. I changed to debit card and it accepted - however I didn’t notice that when changing to another card it also reset subscription to annual. I now have an annual subscription I can’t afford and don’t need - please can someone from subscriptions team consider refund and changing me to monthly? Kenny
We keep having an issue where participants images on a video chat do not not always show up - instead there are just black screens with the names of the participants. This comes and goes - so sometimes a person is visible and sometimes their screen is black. The participants are using Miro on either a laptop or a desktop computer.I didn’t see a solution within the community boards.
Hi, maybe I need more coffee but i’m struggling to understand the pricing system here… I’m a consultant, CRO and copywriting. Typically I’ll have a single client on the go, sometimes two. Rarely three. Right now i use a project management plugin (WPProject) for Wordpress in a subdomain, for collaboration, file sharing and such, and that let’s me keep different clients away from each other. I understand the Consultant plan does the same or similar. Where I’m confused is the whole user thing. What exactly does “1+” mean? One plus what? I can have more than one? I can’t have more than.. me? So how do I consult? One client? One plus client..? What? So there’s me, that’s $15, but if I have a client, which would seem the point of a consultant plan, is that another $15? Or is one (plus?) client included? With my current system I can assign a client the role of ‘Client’. Easy. Clients can comment and stuff but have limited rights. I’m trying to figure out if I’d actually have to pay twice, fo
Hi all, I have a client with whom I share a board. He is unable to pan or zoom in on the board. We have tried all the usual commandos and nothing seems to remedy the problem. What can be the issue? He does not have Windows 365, can that be the issue? Thank you for your help!/Helena
Hi there, I have a consultant plan with MIRO to facilitate remote workshops. However one client was so excited about working with MIRO that they themselves selected an enterprise plan which is great. However they now want me to only use their MIRO environment as a Guest Editor for internal policy. My direct partner at the client created the board for our next workshop next week and added me as a Guest Editor. However as I need to facilitate the session I am missing the facilitation features especially Lock/Unlock and Video Chat. As I am already a paying consultant is there a way to get access to these feature even if I am “just” a Guest Editor at the client? It seems unreasonable that their IT department would spent an additional license for me in time.
