Teams settings in new dashboard UI

Can Not Find Recent Boards

Opened Miro today and the dashboard that used to be full of all my recent boards is now full of boards I have never visited before. They are boards owned by people associated with me but how do I find recently opened boards regardless of team? I have checked through each team via the search bar and nothing shows.Also on the ios app on my phone the dashboard is full of these recent boards so I know they exist within my account just do not see them on desktop.Thank you for any help

Edit text size of multiple objects

Hello, I’m working on my first board and made everything too large at first. I found it easy to select all objects and shrink them all down together, however, the original font size is not shrinking along with the objects. I can’t figure out a way to adjust the font size of multiple objects at once. Does anyone have any ideas for how this might be accomplished?  Many thanks!

[RESOLVED] Can't move multiple selected objects with Arrow keys

Yesterday I could move multiple selected objects with SHIFT + Arrow keys. Today I can’t. The objects are not locked. I can still move one object at a time with SHIFT + Arrow keys. What happened?I’m using Chrome Version 110.0.5481.177 on Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1

Can't replace my team admin to another member

Hi all, How can I change my admin rights to another in Teams? I’m leaving the team and have lots of boards that the rest of the team don’t want to loose if I left without replacing my admin rights to another in the team. Can you please help?

Copy and paste is not working

Hi,Unfortunately for me copy and paste and trying to duplicate one of my boards isn’t working for me. I’ve tried on the Desktop app and Google Chrome - neither work. I have cleared cookies etc. still not working for me. Any suggestions?

Hey Miro, don’t you want students to adopt your tool?When on an Education Plan, it’s not possible anymore to create a board that students can edit during say a workshop. So, as an educator, I can’t let design students learn design thinking methods through hands-on work in Miro anymore 😩But people at Miro, you really want students to adopt your tools. Believe me, they are going to advocate for it at their future workplaces when they get to use it as students.I work within the SaaS business myself, and I think you’ve made a mistaken when doing feature changes in your usage tiers.

Unable to access boards owned by former employee

I have a former colleague who is removed from miro, but still owns a number of boards. The person does not exist in the system anymore and doesn’t have access to our miro boards.  How can I transfer ownership of these “dangling” boards, with some of them we can’t even edit or copy them anymore as the team has only “viewing” rights.  I’ve searched on the forum but answer refer to reassigning ownership on removal of this person from the team / account. What I currently see is that this person is not in the team, nor in the company account, yet boards in our project are still owned by this person.

wie kann ich auf Miro einen Frame markieren und sperren, aber dabei Post-Its beweglich lassen?

Ich würde gerne verschiedene Objekte markieren und sperren, aber für einen Workshop die Post-Its beweglich lassen. Aktuell muss ich jedes Post-It aus der Markierung händisch anwählen, um sie aus der Markierung zu lösen. Gibt es da einen schnelleren Weg? Über den Weg des Filters kann ich aktuell immer nur einen Objekttypen auswählen/filtern. Vielleicht gibt es auch die Möglichkeit mehrere Objekttypen zu filtern?Vielen Dank für die Unterstützung.

Hello, I have a basic Miro plan, but every time I log in or perform any action, I get a page with questions (1/5) repeatedly. I can't access the settings because the window keeps appearing, and the process starts all over again. Could you please advise me on how to get rid of this window?

Why does Miro still bill me around $20 dollars every month, when im on free version since 4-5 months ago?

Hey, so i just noticed that miro bills me around $20 a month, for the past 4-5 months now. I initially got the starter plan and unsubscribed, and got back to free mode 4-5 months ago. But when i saw my credit card bills, around IDR 307,000 (indonesian) was billed to miro every month! EVERY MONTHHHH! Either they a have crappy system or their stealling from me! GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY or ELSE!!!!

Help? Our participant is receiving this message when trying access one of our boards!

 HelloI am hoping someone will be able to assist with this query. My company is currently running an online training programme and one of our participants from a different organisation is receiving this webpage when clicking on the link to one of our Miro boards. He has signed up to a Miro account and is being asked to join another team in his organisation by the looks of things (I’ve redacted names for confidentiality). How do we go about solving this issue?I can’t see a skip or a ‘join team later’ type of option so does he need to join or create a team in order to progress forward? He will need access to Miro again on Monday so it would be great to have some assistance as soon as possible.Many thanksCourtney

[INVESTIGATING] Bug - logic reversed for "Star/unstar Board" tooltip

I think the CTA to star a board is reversed. Possible Bug? If you hover over the star of an already starred board, it says "Star this board".The inverse is true for unstarred boards. Since "star" is the verb, the call to action would be incorrect, I believe.

Editing canvas.json in backup *.rtb

Hi,due to the missing search/replace functionality I wanted to check if this can be done via backup > edit rtb content > restore. I have a huge board with placeholder texts for a 2nd language that I need to remove.If I unzip the rtb file the canvas.json looks like binary. All other json and svg files are readable.Editing the canvas.json is mentioned here:https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/why-do-links-to-duplicated-boards-get-crossed-4027I wanted to go the same route, but failed due to the unreadable canvas.json.Has the format been changed recently?How can I decode the canvas.json to get a editable version? Thanks for your hints,Michael

Adding a Font **Family**

Hi, I appreciate that we can add fonts to the Branding Centre but the options for doing so are very limited. If we’re using a typeface we’re licensed to use (for example Gotham) why can’t I add the entire family? If I try and add a different font from the family - eg Gotham Narrow - there is an error saying that this font is already uploaded. No, it’s not. This is a different font from the same family.Also we only have 4 options and that’s limiting for other reasons.Here’s the error. I don’t think that this feature is fully delivered. Add custom typeface/font | Miro

Frame is masking the board when moved or scaled

Hi, anyone experience the Frame - inverse masking out the art work? I am setting up a sequence of frames so as to have an animated presentation. Sometimes a mask i put down, when I scale it or move it, it suddenly mask inverts the art work.

Access to Miro Lite Board

I created a Miro Lite board two days ago and created this public link to have my customers fill out a bunch of information: https://miro.com/online-whiteboard/board/uXjVLFzerYw=/?boardAccessToken=QjmpU24MA1nO8sGWOGECDrunWj8RlXKl When I tried to open the board today, I am seeing this attached message saying that the board is locked and that I need to sign up to access the board:  However, when I sign up with my email and go back to the board, it asks me to request access to the board, but I don't know who this access request could possibly go to because I have tried signing in with every email I have and nothing seems to work. So I'm just stuck in this endless loop of it saying that I need to sign up to unlock it and then request access to it.
