Hi there, I’m Juande Santander-Vela, and I’m responsible for the Product Management group that is responsible for the features of the software that will control the hundreds of thousands of components of the SKAO telescopes; the software that will analyse the data as it comes out of the antennas; the software that allows astronomers from all over the world proposed what to do with the telescope; and many more…

We use Miro extensively to support retrospectives, our software roadmaps, use cases… and even our Solution and Program Boards during Program Increment planning are done using Miro.

Some of our colleagues created what we call the Zoom Keyhole: a package that indicates in Miro boards in which zoom room you can find a colleague. That is now an integral plan of how we do Program Increment planning, and we could not live without it, specially across two trains — and soon three.

Code is available with a BSD-3 license: https://gitlab.com/ska-telescope/zoom_keyhole

Hey, I’m Justin. I’m an Airtable consultant/developer, and I found Miro while trying to help one of my clients with a solution for his business. Miro looks like a really awesome tool for this particular use case, mainly because of its robust API...which I’ve run into an issue with. But that’s a topic for another thread. 🙂

Hello everyone! I am Nithya from India. I came across Miro in a panel discussion of the Cambridge online Conference.I am just starting to explore Miro and wish to use it in my middle school classes to enable learner interaction.

Hi folks!

I'm Eldar and my company decided to use miro. I'm looking for an option to automatically update KPIs within a miro board. The numbers and charts are coming from Tableau or gSheets.

Does anyone have the same requirements and/or a solution to handle it? Would be happy to chat!

Hi everyone. Glad to be here! I found Miro first via a client of mine (a Head of CX at a large brand here in the UK) and fell in love. Started using it for workshops, for diagramming UX and CX flows and more. Then it kind of blew up.

I’m a digital comms & product strategist, I work at adam&eveDDB in London where my role is “Experience Director”. I’m trying to create a world in which the beautiful, emotional communications that my colleagues make are complemented with beautiful, emotional interactive experiences that help drive deeper relationships between our clients’ brands and their consumers.

But.. in my “spare time” I’m also the Lead Programme Manager & Head Coach of Great Britain Baseball (the National Baseball team). The lightbulb moment for me was when Miro crossed over, out of my professional life and into my life outside of the day job. We use Miro in GB Baseball as our scouting board. (If you’ve seen the movie “Moneyball”, there’s that scene where they’re in the room with all the scouts and they have all the players names on the whiteboard on the wall). That’s been awesome as it’s opened up all kinds of new ways of thinking about collaboration in a Sports organization.

So yeah, that’s me! Happy to be here and pleasure to meet you all.

Hi Miro Community

I am a Project Manager in the IT team for Autolus, a Bio-Tech company specialising in developing CAR-T Cell therapies for cancer patients.  I’m based in the UK

I’m fairly new to Miro, and was involved in the rollout to our company of 300 people - people are loving being able to collaborate in a cool and versatile way!

Am keen to learn more about the power of Miro and how fellow PMs are working using Miro for agile / software development projects

Cheers!

John

Hi everyone, my name is Patrizia and I am the executive manager of a training and consulting institute based in Germany but operating in all Europe. Since the Corona protecting rules made impossible to work personally with our customers we operate live-online. I discovered MIRO as the perfect tool to facilitate interactive workshops online. I am really enthusiastic about the possibilities MIRO offers for these purposes.

Happy to be a part of the great MIRO community!

And here greetings also from Coltrane, enjoying his camping time

Hello Miro Humans!!!
I am JP, a not too young engineer (27 years old) but who cares about aging. Life is short no time to think on getting old. :)
My current position is Tech-Software-Enabler at Wallace Perimeter Security.
This software solution is remarkable, I would describe it as a free unstructured dashboard for anything your mind can visualize.

Let’s rock the world with more productive communication tools.

Thanks for welcoming me, greetings tutii. My name is Nicola Dion, I have been an art and image teacher for 23 years. I like to learn new teaching methods with the use of new technologies. Everything I learn I pass to my students. On some methodologies I can help others.

A full-time social media analyst at Sciflare. works for a small, un-googleable private foundation that makes EA-adjacent donations.

I grew up in India and moved to New Jersey, Virginia during high school. After graduating from Adolph-Mac College and receiving my master’s degree from The George Washington University Graduate School of Human Resource Management,

At present, I work in Sciflare Technologies - a leading mobile app development company in chennai. Before joining Sciflare, i was a tutor, a freelance writer, a tech support agent, and a music journalist.

When I Worked in Sciflare I had the opportunity to write articles for fantasy sports at that time only I came to know the demand in fantasy cricket website development strategies.I grew up on a variety of dirt roads in the wilds of New Jersey, relying on fantasy and imagination to pass the time, along with outings to smell tree bark, climb rocks and wander, lonely as a cloud, along the dirt roads, getting rocks in my shoes and communing with the deer. It was a simple, beautiful place to grow up, but with only 3 students in my class from kindergarten through 2nd grade, something was needed to pass the time, and my imagination was supplemented by voracious reading habits. From a very young age, I was drawn to crime fiction.

Hello everyone

I am Hugues, a young VR developer currently working on a startup project

Miro may have been the best online tool I've ever come across for my own work. It has become in large part the second brain where I think out loud visually & organise nearly all my work & notes

Its become an essential tool for me and everyone I work with gets to discover it^^

Looking forward to continuing this visual journey with you all!

Hi all:

My name’s Brian Royce and I am new to Miro, but not new to process mapping. I have quite a bit of experience in Visio, and love the ease of use and collaboration functionality in Miro. I look forward to collaborating and sharing knowledge and use cases with all of you.

My company, Birch And Oak is located in NH, USA and we build digital workspaces using a no code tech stack, which Miro is now an important part of.

In my spare time I have a recording studio and produce rap beats and tracks. If you have any questions or just want to chat about knowledge management, project management, company wiki’s or rap music (haha) hit me up! :sunglasses:

Hi everyone, I’m Mary from Nebraska. I work for a Massachusetts company called TimePayment and I am a Scrum Master. I started this job in Feb of 2020. I had not seen Miro in action much prior to WFH, but since then, I have participated in many agile meetups that use it. I don’t have much experience on the facilitation side so if there are YouTube videos or other learnings that are particular to facilitation, I would love to hear about them!

Hi everyone,

I am Amal and I am a postdoc researcher. I started using Miro for personal project management and summarizing my reading. I like its seemingly infinite nature 🙂. I did not use it for collaborative work yet, but it is something I would like to try at some point.

Hello MiroWorld - my name is William and I am based in Bangkok, Thailand. I’ve been an active online whiteboard user for a couple years. I’m now working to roll this out across our organization. We are an NGO working to empower the least advantaged communities...and now we are using Miro whiteboards to help us out, especially with the travel limitations of COVID. So, I may be coming back to this wise and experienced group for lessons learned on becoming a new Admin. All advice and links are welcome!

Hi everyone!  I’m Annie MacLeod and Project Management consultant, coach & mentor based in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.

Hi, @Annie:

I might bump into you in Kelowna at a winery or cidery sometime!  My daughter lives and works there and we visit as often as we can!

Hello, All:

I’m Rick Gill, an analytic methodologist, researcher and Canadian Army veteran currently living and working in Edmonton, Alberta, (AB) Canada.  I collaborate remotely with a colleague in Ottawa, Ontario (ON) on a range of investigative and other projects.  We first tried Slack and then settled on Basecamp as our online collaboration tool five years ago.

I’ve been a mind mapper since 2006, using a variety of tools.  As a “visual thinker” I began exploring online whiteboarding tools such as Miro and Stormboard late last year.  I’ve been learning about Miro over the last few months and just about to make the leap into Miro under “Consultant” as it best meets my particular needs.

I’m really pleased to see the wide range of available templates in Miro, including the growing collection of community-contributed templates every time that I sign in.

Hey everyone

I’m Tadzio, a UX nooby from Switzerland. Just started my 2nd year of my MAS HCID study. We use Miro a lot for collaborating in class, doing research and a lot of other activities. I just love it :grinning:

Hi everyone!!

It’s Ben here - excited to be part of this extraordinary community! I represent a hybrid strategy consulting firm based in Crete, Greece. We are on a mission to help family SMEs in the Greek & Cypriot market to redefine their business model, design new services and better understand their customers. I can’t think of myself serving our customers without the help of such an amazing platform like Miro. Kudos to everyone involved building and maintaining the platform

Happy to connect and share more insights on what we are trying to fix :)

Cheers
