Reflecting on the workshops and/or meetings you have run, or participated in, using Miro:What are the situations, or problems, that you can’t solve exclusively using Miro native tools? (E.g. Folks:  I had a great workshop last week on tuning up your virtual meetings - we focused on Colleens upcoming project kickoff meeting and how to build relationships by collaborating on her agenda, and customizing a MiroVerse template.  One question that came up is what are some top tips for working with large groups.  Check out my top 4 and let me know what yours are!   

I’m curious if there are good experiences in the community of using Miro with big Touchscreens for ideation scenarios? We have a 65” Samsung Flip Touch screen that we want to explore using the touch feature together with Miro. First impressions were that everything was more difficult than using mouse+keyboard.Interacting with Miro objects was difficult. I used a digital whiteboard pen, but it did not have any buttons to help me control settings.I’m curious if there are any big-touchscreen-using-fans out there? :)

I have way too many board with the default logo. It was hard to find anything. I tried selecting the remarkable area of the board so that I could visually see it. But that was also not great.Then I found out how to "craft" them. Hello Miro Community.   My name is Patrick Seaton, the owner of Innovative Management Toools and I am relatively new to using miro boards, but very excited with what I have seen so far with their potential. I am a change management consultant and am in the process of converting my facilitator-led, in-person activities created over the last 20 years that used conference rooms and white boards with cards that I designed to help clients overcome common and recurring business challenges and problems by involving small groups of stakeholders in the session.  Visual and engaging sessions with amazing results. The miro board seems to be an ideal way to bring the over 40 activities into a digital life.  It is very exciting to bring my tools into a new world and open them up for use outside of my personal client base. If anybody is in the change management and business problem solving arena and would like to open a dialogue, please feel free to connect with me. Regards, Patrick

Hi folks,in 2019 my way and journey with one of the biggest / best tools online started. Miro was my tool. It was the wayI thought I worked I livedI’ve done lessons / classes and coaching with miro.Everything I planned - even privately -  I’ve done with miro.I enjoyed every second I had with my boards.Every time I worked with miro I was blown away what I can do with it ...But then GDPR came and I had to search for an other tool that fits more to my needs.So I searched for alternatives and I found them:Two competitor tools - yes the servers they’re running are placed in EuropeI now test them extremely and it looks that I really move to one of them.With one tear in my eye I’ll now go into the present christmas time … but also I really look forward that I can use in January a full Collaboration tool like all of you Non-European already are doing.Just imagine you can do everything you do in miro, without collaboration … this is the big restriction I’ve got …I just want to say thank you all

Am I the only person who would do just about anything for a sweet Miro t-shirt or hoodie?!  I’m such a huge fan, I’d like nothing more than to make all my coworkers jealous by showing off my Miro support!

Miro is a lovely application which I find more and more use for almost daily. I wish I had used it when I was more gainfully employed, as I’m confident it would have helped in innumerable ways in the dynamic and creative environment I left for stay at home fatherhood. As it stands, I mostly use it for organizing my creative endeavors and hobbies.In the case of the latter, I’ve been using Miro since early in the pandemic to play various tabletop roleplaying and miniatures games online with a huge community of players around the world. While there is a bustling and crowded field of dedicated VTTs (Virtual Tabletops) which exploded in popularity as games scrambled to continue online, Miro serves my needs and those of countless others exceptionally without the oft heavy baggage of trying to be all things to all games.The one area where I needed to supplement Miro usage with additional application(s) was in having reliable RNGs (random number generators) aka dice which could be “rolled” and

Hi,I have a Miro team with 228 old boards. I'd like to be able to archive these and store outside of Miro.It would be great if i could bulk backup/export all 228 boards. 

Hello,the miro programmers are awsome and added a new feature. This feature is nice and its a timesaver: You have to drag the arrow till the center of the sticky - till you see a white-blue-dotthan everything works perfect: @mironeer developers: Thank you miro - You’re awsome Michael

Hey, fellow product managers! How many feature requests do you have in your backlog? And how many of them will you actually implement? Does the user ever hear back again about their idea? Oof, customer requests... Tricky they are! Like you, we at Miro love our customers, and they love us back: we get lots of great feedback and tons of amazing, elaborate feature ideas. There are several channels that we are tracking: NPS survey feedback, support tickets, shoutouts on social networks, regular feedback review meetings with customer success and support agents. But while we certainly want to deliver as much value as possible, it may be challenging to manage customers’ expectations when it comes to these requests. So how do you go about it? Please share with us your tried and tested ways to track and follow-up on customer requests to guarantee the best user experience. I haven’t logged in to Miro for a week or two, so not sure when this feature was released, but want to give a massive shout outs to the dev and product teams for building in the Match Height and Match Width features natively to the platform. Thank you kindly! Another step in the direction of batch action is always appreciated.Unless I’m overlooking something, only additional request I have is to extend functionality beyond images to shapes as well.

I wanted to start a “Miro as Change Agent” topic to see if others have similar stories of the power of Miro and process visualization.My StoryI am the new Director of the Office of Extended Studies at Ithaca College. Part of my work is to create opportunities for high school learners to be with us on campus in the summertime for our pre-college programs. Hello everyone! As one of the last posts in 2022, I wanted to share the latest creation from my team at Hiro Studio, our newest Miroverse submission, the Miro Orientation Café (https://miro.com/miroverse/miro-orientation-cafe/). For over a year, we have been working on identifying the foundational pieces that new Miro users need to be taught in order to quickly begin engaging in a workshop. This Miro Experience provides visual, written, and video instructions that appeal to a variety of learning styles and can get new users up to speed and ready to contribute in no time.  Huge ups to @Rachel for her constant support and always helping us push the boundaries of what is possible in Miro, and to Hilary, Hiro Studio’s amazing designer who pulls all of the crazy ideas out of our heads and makes them beautiful.Keep on designing amazing experiences in Miro everyone! Hi crew,Hope your December is off to a great start. I can’t believe 2023 is so close! As the year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on processes that I can improve in the new year. In particular, I’m zeroing in on a better way to fairly assign work. One of the biggest learnings for us at Use All Five this year came out of our DEI Training with Peoplism - that your employees may find a different level of value in each project than management believes. It’s crucial for employees to feel valued and like their career is progressing, so this exercise of aligning on what’s considered a “High Value” vs. a “Low Value” project becomes paramount to retention. They provided this worksheet for us that we’ve been using. My plan is to turn this into something in the Miroverse soon. I’m curious to hear from you:How are you assigning work at your company? Do you look through the lens of high / low value projects currently? Is this a Miro template you would use? Or is this better suited in another

I’ve cited Miro articles (Hybrid Collaborating Field Guide) and used Miro as my go-to whiteboard example in a new book about hybrid facilitation, Hybrid Live Guide, on pages: 13, 17, 18, 25, 44, 50, 61, 86, 108, 109, 111, 113, 114, 115, and 126. In our effort to create equality, have all hybrid participants use the same exact tool. Beyond equality is functionality and collaboration, both of which are supported when groups use the same virtual tools. Miro is my go-to virtual whiteboard. Getting both in-person and virtual participants on Miro allows them to contribute to the same activities in the same ways and even be in the same teams.
