    Add New Zealand Privacy Legislation data types to Enterprise Guard Data DiscoveryOpen

    I was looking at Miro’s new Enterprise Guard feature to see if this is something our organisation should consider. Our organisation is responsible for the design and delivery of New Zealand’s health services.After reading the list of infotypes available for Data Discovery, I found that the only piece of New Zealand data on this list is the New Zealand IRD number. I’d like to request that Miro looks into New Zealand’s Privacy Act and Health Information Privacy Code and consider adding certain infotypes to this list. These are a few off the top of my head that aren’t currently supported:New Zealand passport number New Zealand Driver’s license number National Health Index (NHI) number New Zealand Business Number (NZBN)https://www.privacy.org.nz/privacy-act-2020/privacy-principles/https://www.privacy.org.nz/privacy-act-2020/codes-of-practice/hipc2020/

    Beveled Corner Shape OptionOpen

    I would like to see a new shape option “Beveled Corner” added in the Mask tool.  The current options that are available for the mask of an image are circle, square, landscape, portrait and wide. There are some workarounds but it would be ideal to have “Beveled Corner” as an option.

    Object Dimensions measured in inches or metricsOpen

    Hi Miro Team!I would like to add inches or metrics being displayed in addition to pixels for object dimensions. This would be ideal for presentations to review the proportions in other measurements besides pixels.

    Customizable Background Grid SizeDuplicate Idea (closed)

    My design team loves Miro but we are very frustrated when creating boards to be printed because we struggle to get the exact size of frames and images we need to print.  Please add a feature to allow us to customize the grid size in inches or millimeters just like in Adobe Illustrator.  There should also be an info button that tells you the size of each image on the boards.  This is also a great feature in Illustrator.  If there’s a workaround for either of these we’d love to know it!

    Filter for "manage apps"Open

    As an Miro-Admin for my company, I would like to filter in the app management to allow only apps developed by miro or by miro lab.Every app provider has their own termes of use, and we only want to allow apps provided by companies our data protction officer has checked thier termes of use.

    Add visual notes to the toolbarOpen

    Hello.Just imagine if the visual notes feature was available to add to the toolbar so we could take notes directly on the board with the same slash command functionality…Imagine being able to finally add checklists to the board…Imagine being able to Notion-style or Craft-style notes directly on the board…The Freehand app joined Miro and they had a page feature we could add to their board which had slash command functionality. Will this be incorporated into Miro as a feature? This is another option instead of adding the pre-existing visual notes feature to the toolbar.

    I wish Miro loaded faster for personal useOpen

    The 10sec wait to load a board means I don’t want to use Miro to quickly sketch an idea by myself or brainstorm something to present later. It no longer feels like a whiteboard when you have to wait for it to boot up. Miro needs to get at least 10x faster in start up, its possible because https://excalidraw.com/ takes 1 sec to load vs 10 sec for Miro.

    Our organization uses Miro for presentations and workshops but we can’t accurately represent our brand with the current fonts provided. It would be amazing to give organizations the ability to upload their own fonts for full brand unity!

    streamline sign-on process especially for SSOOpen

    Our company just switched our Miro account to SSO and accessing my content got harder - particularly since we get signed out after a couple hours.  Request: implement as many of these as is feasible based on security requirementsRemember how I normally log in from this browser or app -- don’t make me click on “sign on with SSO” every time Remember my email address for SSO for as long as possible, even if that is just a day -- so I don’t have to enter my email address multiple times per day Automatically trigger the customer’s SSO, where I may also have to enter credentials -- so that I can get to my Miro content as quickly as possible (and if I’m on my VPN I don’t need to do anything) Encourage your customers to have longer idle time limits configured

    I've just upgraded to Starter plan and need to do a voting session, but I have an amount of 170 images to be voted and the maximum number of votes allowed is is 99. The increase of the maximum number of votes would be really helpful.

    Adjust images size to fit into the replaced image, when using "replace" commandOpen

    I use a template with avatars and want people to replace the avatar images (grouped with other stuff like name tag etc) with their own photos using the “replace” function. But this doesn’t work well.It would be very handy if “replace” would adjust the uploaded image to fit into the size of the replaced object (in height or in width, no matter which). But if I replace the image, the outer size is kept the same (as it should) but if the new image is bigger than the original one, only a fragment of it is seen (it is cropped randomly). It’s impossible to fit the image into the existing size with a click or a menue command.Instead the participants must now crop the whole image and then understand how to scale the result down again, to fit it to the rest of the group. But as the image is part of a group like shapes and nametags, this ends up in a mess.I hope I explained the problem well enough, sorry! Thank you!I love miro!

    Use a card as a node in a mind mapOpen

    I’m trying to build opportunity solution trees in Miro and none of the solutions I have found so far are great.The mind map feature looks great for creating the structure. The problem is, individual mind map nodes are very limited in the options of their formatting and content.I would love to describe individual opportunities as Cards, so we can provide more detailed descriptions, attach links or even files, connect them with research insights, assign them to people or tag them. And Yeah, we could use connection arrows to build an opportunity solution tree with them anyway, but once the tree gets bigger, it becomes a huge pain to reorganize and edit the tree.If mind maps could be built with Cards as nodes, it would solve… well, maybe not all my life’s problems, but a lot of work-related issues :)

    As the name suggest, a way to record a series of steps and link to a play button that users/guest can ‘Play’For example, have a stack of objects or images and cycle the bottom to the front using the ‘Bring to front’ function. Then every time the button is clicked, a new image/object appears on the top.There could be many applications especially in an educational or game board.

    Can you add the feature wherein we can add our own video without uploading them to YouTube etc. I tried it on Milanote and it works really great. I just need to drag and drop my video then it will be attached to my board, no hassle of uploading it to YouTube etc. then embedding. this is a great feature to have. the only thing stopping me from moving to Milanote is that i prefer Miro mobile app. Thanks

    Business and Enterprise Feature: All user teamOpen

    I use Miro as an Enterprise and have multiple teams created based on Agile Release trains and lines of business I find it difficult to create and manage a companywide team that is required for all users to be part of in the company A possible solution would be creating teams that automatically include all users depending on license. Using this feature, we could create two teams named something like: “Miro @ Company” which include all full licenses users. “Miro @ Company all members” which included full and free licensed.     Hi, I use the Kanban board like this:When I want to connect elements this is the default display, Lines are in FRONT of the elements:if you send the lines back, then they are Behind of the Kanbanit should be in between. I suggest when two elements in the same Kanban board are connected and when those connection lines are commanded to send back. The display should be as the first picture.Thank you.

    PDF “Extract Pages” feature: Improve Miro performanceOpen

    Hi,Considering how much PDFs weigh down Miro performance, I’m wondering if there’s a way of improving this?SituationRight now, each extracted PDF page still maintains the entirety of the PDF from wh/ it was extracted, thus making Miro boards wicked slow w/ redundant pages.SuggestionIf possible technically and not too disruptive usability-wise, could the “Extract Pages” feature actually be reconfigured to remove those pages that are not shown? This would not be that destructive since the “Extract Pages” feature already maintains intact the original multi-page PDF. UX-wise, some text to explain what’s going on and how it works may be helpful.Net NetThe way it is now, “Extract PDF” is a cool feature but creates unnecessary performace lag which is increasing complaints among my 40+ users.
