Wanted to record a WISH - I’d love to see better support for the Windows (and Apple for my friends) OS’ when it comes to Pens/Pencils.

I use a Dell Active Pen and a Dell Latitude touchscreen laptop.  In native OS applications (Excel, Word, PPT, Visio, etc.) the UX for the Active Pen is awesome.  I can draw and then, with the click of a button, quickly ERASE, LASSO and MOVE elements all around.  Working like this means I can co-browse, brainstorm, and ideate with clients and colleagues FASTER than if we were all at a whiteboard.

But in Miro, the experience leaves much of that to be desired :-(   While I can draw fine, I’m left to point/click/draw with the Active Pen as if it were my finger or mouse pointer.   To ERASE I have to do the 6-step click (Open Pen Menu, Select Eraser, Close Pen Menu, Erase, Open Pen Menu, Select Pen) if I make a mistake.  Same to lasso, move, etc.

So here is an upvote (for myself!) to have Pen/Pencil/Stylus integration that mimics the native OS capabilities.

Thanks, Tom

(Sorry for the necro - but it might still help!)

Are you using the web version? The downloadable app has better support (automatic pen and eraser selection) - but there’s still room for improvement (I’ve also asked for lasso support recently: https://community.miro.com/ideas/lasso-select-with-pen-button-16411).
