While I’m teaching my students, I want to use my Apple Magic Mouse to circle and click on things, but unintended drags with my finger make it scroll and the frame shift out of present mode and it’s really annoying. I could probably find a way to disable scrolling while I’m using my mouse with Miro, or just use a trackpad or a different mouse, but I don’t see the point in even having the ability to scroll off the frame while you’re in present mode. Can there be an option for scrolling to be disabled while in present mode?
Sometimes students constantly play with the reactions during lessons, when they should be working, etc. It would be so helpful to restrict students from randomly using the reactions.
Hi, there is no such a thing for random idea capturing when they hit us, you do not know where they belong (in which board or direct place on board) and you do not wanna forget them. For example like milanote have done it, you have one tab for quick notes in their mobile app and you can put whatever you want in there (in form of notes (images, links...), but it is not a board), then you come to desktop or tablet and you can drag and drop things from there across all your boards. (It is also a good way for creating a general to-do lists and keep them in mind for as long as you need)
Whether it is a Work Breakdown Structure, an Organization Chart or some other type of hierarchical model, it would be great if Miro provided a widget for a tree chart. I created the custom template below, but a built-in one would be better…
Hello, IMHO, it would be very helpful to have an option in the context menu to convert the current shape into any other (if possible). For example, an ellipse to a rectangle, etc. - maintaining the content and colors. Thanks,Mikhail
Hello,Context: Miro is a great tool to build simple, yet powerful slides fast. A very valuable feature for business users. Problem:But when the host starts his/her presentation, all the other visitors on the board do not see what he sees. Instead they just follow the host on the board. This is a cruicial dealbreaker for that feature, because slides work only well, when the information is delivered focused peace by peace as intended by the storyteller.Solution: All listeners should automaticly see the same presentation mode that the host / presenter sees. Only in that way the listeners are not distracted by other information on the board and everyone is literally on the same page.
I’m often facilitating with groups who are new to Miro with varying levels of technical experience. While using presentation mode the participant can navigate away from the presentation and must be prompted to return to the presenter using the blue “return to [name]” button. Participants with limited technical experience can find this difficult and managing the issue takes time away from the other attendees. Additionally, if participants split off into different breakout boards, the presenter has no way to bring everyone together on one frame at the end of the activity. Please add attention management tools to presentation mode including: Add bring everyone to me to presentation mode Add the ability to toggle the ability to navigate away from the presenter (some portions the participant must follow, other portions they may freely navigate)
The only way to find private boards is to attempt to remember the board name using search or hope it’s in the Recent Boards or Starred Boards section. I’d love it if right under Recent Boards and Starred Boards in the upper left there was a Private Boards section where I could see a list of every private board I’ve ever created. Without something like this, they can be lost forever.
Hello, I would like to request that Miro provide support for the Carbon Icon library at the below URL. https://carbondesignsystem.com/elements/icons/library/ The Carbon Icon library appears to be a popular library that organizations are leveraging as a part of enterprise design patterns and it would be nice to leverage the same design elements in Miro boards that would then tie in well to presentations and reduce the need for switching between tools to have a consistent collaboration and presentation experience.
When a note contains several ideas, be able to split it into several different notes. You could use marking criteria by symbols (, . "") or by tabulation, etc.
In many collaborative activities, it’s a common proceeding to first let the participants figure out some ideas alone and then to share them with the others. A very simple example are those agile retrospective activities like “4L” or “Keep it/Start it/Stop it”. Participants are asked to write some notes and then to present them on the board. Currently, everything each participant is doing is instantly visible on the board. People often give the feedback that they have failed figuring out their own ideas because they were distracted (actively or passively) by the efforts of the other participants. Imagine a frame which I could assign to one single participant to work in. After e.g. a time box runs out, the frame owner could copy the results and paste them into the public area of the board. Maybe there is already a way to do this? Please let me know.
I really love the AI translation feature in MIRO…there is only one thing that is really annoying…. at the moment you have to click on each post individually to translate it and there is no multiple selection option to have everything translated in once. Will this be possible in the future or do you already have it in the backlog?
I would like the option to get rid of all the white space surrounding a frame to make it impossible for collaborators to zoom out and see all the space surrounding the frame. This would allow for better focus on what you want collaborators to see.
Hi, could be possible to add some new feature in 2020 which can easily create JIRA Workflow steps and transition in designer view and export the results with xml to import in Jira? Example Create some workflow with columns and steps and transition Link the steps in designer Export to XML Import XML from Miro to JIra and using as a custom workflow scheme Thank you Tomas
At this point, I’d take anything for improvements there. The current setup is basic enough I never use it. The Mural feature of being able to create a sticky note and then draw in it is nice for the continued atomization of ideas. The current absolute high-water mark for Miro-like conceptual drawing on the iPad is Concepts.app on iPad.
Hey Miro Community,i would like to suggest a feature for the Mind Map. The Mind Map is a great tool to brainstorm some ideas and to keep an better overview in some usecases, it would be great to enable a second Auto-Layout mode which align all Nodes regarding of there depth of the Mind Map Tree.Kind regards,Kevin
Hey again,It would be very useful to be able to add a description to a shape, similarly to how it looks on Cards. This way, instead of using comments to describe the shapes, a window could open where you can describe the shape contents in detail. That would be very handy when e.g. making process diagrams where you want to describe each process step. Thanks very much!
Please add Ctrl+[ and Ctrl+] to increase/reduce font size like MS Word.
