the ability to download the talk track and also while recording the talktrack an seting not to auto hide the add contents bar, right now i can add text only with keyboards shortcuts and i can't press the text add, this would be usefull for recording screen while doing an workshop and you need people to see your screen while real working and writing new things on the board
As admin / helper, I visii some board of our enterprise account, to give some feedback. In most of them I’m editor, and I’m always afraid to move/edit content “ by error”My idea is to be able to switch my self in “read only mode”
Websites like dribble convert images to .webp files to optimise load speed. When creating a moodbard it is annoying to have to convert each one to JPEG or PNG to add to Miro.
Hello Miro Team,We are embedding our internal web application inside a Miro board using the Miro embed feature. Our application works correctly when embedded in a standard iframe like this:<iframesrc="https://myapp.com/..."allow="fullscreen; clipboard-write"style="width:100%;height:100%;border:none;"></iframe>In this configuration: Fullscreen API works Clipboard copy works (navigator.clipboard.write) PNG download works via <a download> (Blob URL) However, when embedded via Miro’s embed feature, the generated iframe looks like this:<iframesrc="https://myapp.com/..."sandbox="allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-forms allow-popups allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox allow-modals allow-storage-access-by-user-activation"allow="encrypted-media"></iframe>In this configuration: Fullscreen is blocked Clipboard API is blocked (Permissions Policy violation) Standard downloads (<a download>) are blocked due to sandbox restrictions We understand and respect the security reasons behind restrictive sandbox and permissions policies for embeds. However, in our case: The embedded application is fully controlled by us. It is hosted on a trusted domain. The intended usage is interactive, not read-only viewing. RequestWould it be possible to support one of the following options: Allow additional permissions for embeds: allow="fullscreen; clipboard-write" sandbox including allow-downloads Provide embed configuration options (checkboxes/toggles) to enable: Fullscreen Clipboard write Downloads Provide a “Trusted Domain Allowlist” feature, where specific domains can be granted expanded iframe permissions. We are not requesting unrestricted access, but rather a secure and controlled way to enable interactive applications inside Miro boards. This would significantly improve integration use cases where embedded tools are meant to be actively used, not just viewed.Thank you for considering this request.Best regards,
Haha. D’oh! Update: If you Shift + drag a shape, the current aspect ratio is maintained as you make it smaller/larger, so… this idea is not required.Furthermore, looking at the Shapes help article, I read:Styling a shapeYou can select several shapes at once and style them all.To create an even shape without changing its ratio, hold down Shift just like you would in any other graphics software. If “style” is the correct term for “resize”, then I prefer “resize”. In line with my idea of Force shapes to be symmetrical, I would like to see more transform options for objects in Miro - implemented for shapes first, with images being next.At the time of this post, when a shape is dragged by the corner, the object can be resized along two axes, but does not lock the original aspect ratio.I would like to see the following:Drag the corner of a shape/image to change the scale (make bigger/smaller) along two axes, while locking the original aspect ratio. Drag the side of an object to change scale along one axis only (to change the width or height independently). **the rest are nice-to-haves** Flip Mirror Rotate Shear PerspectiveCredit goes to this article for helping me better articulate my asks.

Every time I try to upload an image file to Miro Board, I am assaulted with an error message about a 32MP limit. Every time a Miro Board representative, has presented Miro Board to my firm and me, they have emphasized how easy it is just to drag images and drawings into the board and just start working with them, but it seems that is false advertising in terms of how Miro Board actually works. In practical reality, I try to drag a drawing into Miro Board and receive an error, forcing me to return to whichever program I was using and redo my previous step to export a file that will fit within Miro Board’s limits. I would note that neither Bluebeam Revu, nor Photoshop, nor any other application we may be working with will surface the megapixels of the drawing we are exporting, so that limit is a hard break for a Miro workflow. I know that Bluebeam Revu is a useful tool. I do not know that Miro Board is a useful tool. My suggestion is this. Miro Board should make itself a useful tool. Allow us to upload the files we are uploading. If Miro Board needs to down-res the images we are uploading, YOU, you Miro Board should do that at the upload step in the most frictionless way possible, instead of making me bounce out of Miro to another app and wonder why I am using this app at all.
Having the ability to draw custom shapes and change both their outline line type and fills would be incredible. Currently this is a major feature lacking for drawing/sketch/annotating. The feature would be similar to a “polyline” or “polygon” tool in other software, where you can add/remove points to create custom shapes, closed curves, etc.
Hi all!Dont you want all your To-Do’s in one place and still be free to use your favourite tools next to the “Company prescribed” ones? I do! As such: It would be so great to link Miro Kanban with Teams / MS Planner, so that To-Do’s would all appear neatly in one place. AND not have to design/ develop ideas & tasks in Miro and then go to Teams/PLanner to write them down and track them. Also look at my question here, thanks @Robert Johnson for confirming that this feature doesnt exist yet! Now just vote it up!
Boards in a team are not reliably displayed. I was trying to find a specific board that I have permission to see and was unable to do so even with the filters set as “All boards” “Owned by Anyone”. I could see the board in the list only after changing the sort filter I thought this may be browser caching but I did a hard reload of the site with developer tools open and it does the same thing. Also I think the missing board (red icon) only showed up in the “Last Opened” filter after I opened it from a direct link that someone gave me.I want to be able to see all the boards in a team without having to ask everyone for links to them. This was the closest thing I could find to report this as a defect.
If you want to jam AI into your product like everyone else - by all means - but could you maybe provide a way to opt out? Adobe has made their software virtually unusable with all the AI crap they have bloated their software with and that they have put it front and center and took the actual useful tools and buried them in hidden menus. Let’s not follow in their footsteps. At least give us the option to disable AI so we can actually get our work done. If I wanted an uphelpful intern, I would hire one.
Right now Miro has very few graphs available Wouldn’t it be nice if there were some more, like line charts or many other to come?
Currently I cannot seem to copy/paste from anywhere on the iPad, such as if I have clipped a screenshot on another app and I want to bring it into Miro. I can only copy/paste within Miro itself. This is specific to the iPad. It works perfectly well on other devices such as the MBP.Currently am not using Miro on my iPad because of this function. Thanks
Hi Miro,I would like to know if adding a global read feature is available since we all share the responsibility of reading the messages and if there is a way to turn on this read feature when a team member reads the message it would help reduce duplicative work checking for new comments. Not sure if something like this can be available as an option in each person’s settings so that it will not affect others. Thanks.
When a frame is selected, typing anything (such as keyboard shortcut t for text) will rename the frame. This is super annoying for me as I use the keyboard shortcuts quite often and if you click anywhere in a frame you select it.This leads to the situation I have quite often. I want to add a text inside a frame. I press t. Nothing happens. I realize that I have just renamed the frame by accident. I undo. It would be great if there would be a small pencil button next to the name, that enables the renaming.
Within a table you can specify a column to be a URL (and then optionally specify to allow multiple URL’s). At the moment when a URL is added, it’s shown with a grey background. It would be useful (at least to me) to have the ability for each URL to have a configurable colour. For context, I’m using a table to perform an audit of what documents exist for particular products. The various columns in the table represent the different types of documents eg. User Manual, Assembly Manual, Bill of Materials etc.If the document exists and has been approved, I’ll set the colour of the URL to be green. If the document exists and has not yet been approved, I’ll set the colour of the URL to be orange. If the document doesn’t exist, I’ll add a link to a task and set the colour to be red.Ideally I’d be doing all of this in a Document Management System, but it seemed like a good idea at the time to use a table in miro (or a spreadsheet).
Dear Miro,The new update looks great! After some searching for buttons I was able to find everything again. My students too, they can spam my entire miro board with reactions again. Can the button to disable reactions come back please!? Thank you! gr.Timo
Similar to another, slightly less popular digital whiteboard, it would be nice to have a confetti/celebration effect to celebrate milestones, birthdays, achievements, never-ending-stories, etc.To start, this would be a simple action that any team member could execute. Here’s an example:Thanks to @Floor Verschure for posting about this. And to @mlanders for his supporting idea as a way to automate the trigger of this (and other) action vote for @mlanders idea here → Triggered automatic / Automatic action
Allow using Azure Cards in Table/Timeline/Kanban.Include ‘Start Date’ and ‘Target Date’ - the standard Portfolio level fields used for Epic/Feature and used in Azure DevOps Delivery Plans tool Example use case: Having the ability to use Azure cards across these Miro tools, would allow us to eg. display Roadmaps of Epics to give context to a PI session where Planner (Program Board) is used for planning Features across teams and iterations.
