Tried using the timeline feature today. It’s great, but I thought it would be even greater if you could do the following: more than 6 colour options (why not include the whole customizable colour palette?) Some task or group names don’t fit, so an option to widen the left most column, or wrap text onto multiple lines. add milestones Ability to add dates to the tasks in addition to being able to drag them over. Monthly or yearly view in addition to weeks and days When you hover on a task show the full name (as sometimes it doesn’t fit).
Hey Miro team, Making a wish list suggestion to provide multi select option in the Poll bot widget. Currently it only allows to select 1 option.Thank you,Juhi
When there is content on multiple sticky notes and I’d like to clear them out... Current state: I’ve to go into each sticky note and remove the text.Future state: I can highlight all the stickies > click on the three dots and select an option to clear content.
Hii There! Integration with Asana: Is it possible to use a Asana board two side-synchronized in a Miro board? That would be amazing!! So that in the end I can create new tasks in the Miro board, which are synchronized in the Asana board and the other way, create tasks in Asana and have it synchronized in the Miro board. Best GreetingsDavid
While I would love having full Layer support with nesting and grouping and all of that jazz, a simple, whiteboard-based paradigm might be an 80/20 solution for how I’d use layers. Give us two layers for a board “Surface” (the bottom layer) and “Items” (the top layer). Most of the time, what I’m doing is trying to separate things that would be the equivalent of the “surface” of the whiteboard (labels, shapes, areas, and images that I don’t expect to move), and things that are “items” on the whiteboard (sticky notes, cards, some images, that I DO expect to move around etc.). Working in one of the two layers would be like a Mode - CURRENTLY EDITING SURFACE or CURRENTLY EDITING ITEMS. Switching to edit one of those layers would lock the other layer, so if I am in the Items layer, I can’t do anything to the surface, it functions as a background image, and if I’m editing the surface, the items are all locked and I can’t do anything with them. Combining this with my other request today, https://community.miro.com/wish-list-32/usage-rights-for-facilitators-vs-participants-440, facilitators could be given access to edit the surface where participants would only have access to the Items layer.
It would be maybe a good idea if one could generate not just copies of Cards, stickies etc. but twins. So that when you change the tags or properties of one of these twins, the other changes accordingly, no matter where the other one is. I use Miro to organize my projects. And therefore my task’s. This would be a feature that might be handy.
Suggestion is to provide standard Salesforce components elements from the Lightning Design System as a Miro “App”. It would be used when drafting possible layouts (for example). Background: Salesforce is a popular CRM system used worldwide. It has an extensive CSS based Lightning Design System including graphic elements. Full details available at https://www.lightningdesignsystem.com/ and/or https://github.com/salesforce-ux/design-system See also: https://www.lightningdesignsystem.com/tools/sketch/ (unfortunately this is not compatible with Windows PCs so there is a gap in the available tools as far as I am aware.)
Hi,We are using a paid version of miro with our engineering data team.We asked for a license for our entire team and then we discovered that if we want to use miro to draw our architecture diagrams but AWS icons are available just on business plan.So what hapened? Developers are not using miro and they are using draw.io, wich is a a free tool that has all cloud icons library and the developer also are very familiar with.So it was hard to convice the entire team to use miro, gain the money to buy the licenses and then we discovered that what we most want it's not available, even in the paid plan.So my feedback here for you is that maybe you should let users have access to cloud icons for free or on the basic plan. tks
We’re excited about the new Admin Role capabilities, which offer greater flexibility in delegating permissions across our users. However, there’s a key limitation with the 'User Administrator' Admin Role that we’re facing internally. We manage a single Enterprise Miro account, but each business division is responsible for covering the cost of their team’s licences. Thanks to the introduction of Billing Groups, we can now track and review the number of licences each team has procured. To improve efficiency, we’re planning to delegate the responsibility of managing team licence requests to a “Miro Licence Owner” within each business division. This decentralised approach will give divisions the flexibility to track their past, current, and upcoming licence needs throughout the year, rather than relying on a centralised team. However, there are three key limitations we’re facing with the current 'User Administrator' role:Miro Licence Owners cannot view the billing groups under the ‘Subscription’ section (including licence allocation and usage). They cannot edit the billing group information on individual users’ profiles. They cannot filter the active user list by billing group. If these features were enabled as part of the Admin Role privileges, it would greatly improve how we track and manage licences across the entire business.
Hi!Make it possible to edit frames in the same way as blocks. Make possible to change border style, opacity and color, font and font style. Improve feature find will search text in connection lines. For example if i need to match connection line with my file and there is a need to find this connection line.
Hi Converting Miro sticky notes to JIRA tickets is great.Would eben be more helpful, if Miro tags would be converted to JIRA labels.
Hi! I work in the animation industry and I personally love miro! It’s visually very intuitive and easy to manage. However, it becomes more clumsy if we relay on it for production tracking matters as TV show could contain thousands of designs, backgrounds, shots etc and everything needs to be updated manually. At my studio, we use Flow Production Tracking (formerly known as Shotgrid) to visualize the status and progress of a whole TV Series. My wish is to have an integration of Flow Production Tracking with miro (for example: automatic updates on designs, status of the designs updating automatically in miro through colors, linking shots from one platform to another...) or relay completely in miro in order to have production tracking system in place.THANKS!
It would be PHENOMENAL to see a way to draw metrics and data from Miro… some simple ways to start would be to set status of objects, set conditional logic on statuses, count statuses, count deliverables, count time on tasks, set due dates on tasks… If not within Miro, then integrated with hubspot.
It is currently not possible to follow a presentation on the mobile app (and neither on a mobile browser). When the board editor starts the presentation mode, all desktop users receive the popup inviting them to follow the presentation, but not mobile users. Also, facilitation tools are not supported either on mobile app/browser, so it is not possible to use the usual facilitation techniques of dot voting etc. This is a kind of dealbreaker to teachers giving lectures on Miro, as teaching a class usually involves starting a presentation with slides on the subject material, expecting students to follow it, and then adding some facilitation such as polling on top of the presentation. To my own total surprise I recently learned from teachers, that many students in our institution seem to attend classes with a mobile device only, and not use laptops as we have just assumed thus far (perhaps a generational isssue, into which we’ll definitely be looking deeper, but for now this is what we have observed).
Hi, team!Is it possible for the Talktrack feature to also capture interactions with the board's features, such as using frames, editing them, or re-ordering them?I’d like to be able to make short orientation videos for workshops with content that’s specific for our environment, so it resonates better with the audience.Thank you.
Being able to see how many visitors in a time frame in a specific board.
Enterprise users need a vastly better board search. The current one is just not adequate. When searching literally 1000s of boards you need more features to enable you to find the one you're looking for;We need to be able to click a button that takes you to a search results page, operating within a small search bar drop down is extremely limiting and makes it often impossible to find what you're looking for. There needs to be more filter options (maybe in the advanced search page) e.g. teams, projects, dates, multiple owners (because you know it's going to be one of a group that owns the board). To have exclusion filters. To filter if the search is in the name or the content. Maybe even down to the type of content the word is contained in (maybe you recall writing that word on a post it)There needs more details about the boards (in the advanced search) so you can better discern if its the one you're looking for e.g. the owner, project, last edited / opened, etc.
It would be very useful particulaly when you have a large volume of peopel and stickys to be able to extract the automatically added author to every sticky note. Also there is no way to export the comments that have been added to a sticky note in the .csv.
When duplicating an item linked to a different area in Miro, it automatically duplicates the link. I would love for a pop up that asks, “Do you want to duplicate or remove the link?” Or maybe even a third option for if you want to link to a new space.
