    Child copies of an objectOpen

    Maybe this has been written better elsewhere, but it’d be great to be able to create linked or copied objects from a ‘parent’ object. So, for example, say you were creating a roadmap in Miro (standard) and wanted to be able to have a list of all your initiatives somewhere easy to manipulate, but you also wanted to be able to show those initiatives on a roadmap format/linear. You could make a copy of an initiatives (think sticky/shape/group) and put it on your roadmap diagram. But if you decide you want to change the title or details in it - you just change the parent and it changes both.Does this exist as an idea already?

    Exporting cardsOpen

    Would love to be able to export cards to excel IN SEQUENCE.  They currently export all data elements but the cards are all out of order.  Would be nice to also have field headings. Would love to be able to export cards, in sequence, directly to Smartsheet.  Currently only sticky notes can be migrated to SS, but that will only give you 1 column on the sheet.

    View object history for individual elementsOpen

    Currently, retrieving information from an earlier version of a board requires restoring the entirety of a previous board--just to see what's there. I would love to be able to select a single element (say a sticky note), access the ellipses menu, and see a full history of the element's lifetime (inception, individual edits) at a glance--allowing me to quickly review and rescue previous versions of its content.This would save a huge amount of time for situations where you don't know precisely when a change was made (most of the time).

    Miro Community is unintuitive to get to form the dashboard.Open

    Getting to the Miro Community from the Miro Dashboard (https://miro.com/app/dashboard) requires so many unintuitive steps. Just put a Miro Community button on the Miro. You have to go to the Learning centre, press FAQ & Help, then navigate to the bottom of the page (Image below) to find Miro Community, along with four other things, two of which don’t help. All the stuff in the Miro Help centre tell you that you are wrong (i.e. it tells you how to navigate and use Miro), not helping you report a problem.

    Use a Frame or Miro Embed as a Mind Map nodeOpen

    The ability to collapse and expand Mind Map branches is excellent. I would like the ability to collapse and expand Frames or other Miro Boards links as the final node in a Mind Map.   I see these  2 similar requests:Allow mind map nodes to be shapes, stickies or images Emojis on mindmap nodes

    Invisible links between notesOpen

    I used strategyzer tool which has the nice option of showing / hiding connections between sticky notes. Permanent connecting lines are visually not appealing when we wanted to present directly from board, we would like to have the option of show/hide option for line, so for specific notes if user want to see the link, only that line shall be high lighted.

    Allow more than 8 tags per itemOpen

    Please allow tagging of items (e.g., stickies) with more than 8 tags.  Use Case: I’m doing user research and have been using tags to indicate which customers cited an issue. I interviewed more than 8 customers.

    Have an option to embed "static" Miro diagrams into Confluence similar to Draw.ioOpen

    It would be great if we could have an option to embed Miro diagrams into Confluence pages as a “static” display (without scrolling inside an embedded board).   I’m building documentation pages in confluence and I’m embedding small systems and workflow diagrams built in miro.  I want these diagrams remain static/locked when users scroll confluence pages. Basically have an option for embedded miro board to behave sort of like a draw.io embedded diagram.   This way we could use Mio boards for both collaboration and for documentation.

    Prevent guests from reordering locked frames in presentation modeOpen

    I would like to be able to stop guests from reordering frames when they access the Frames panel. It seems ridiculous that this feature isn’t available if you want people to use this in the context of workshops or courses. Guests need to be able to add sticky notes and the team can hide the frames until we’re ready for that activity, but it’s important for the frames not to move around in the panel, otherwise it makes it challenging to find the right frame to unhide. There’s no need for guests to have access to the feature of reordering frames. That’s only needed for board owners or co-owners. Is this something you’re working on?

    Integrate Wish list into the Miro AppOpen

    I use Miro almost daily and I like it, thanks for this cool plattform.However I find it difficult to provide new ideas to you guys. Today I searched for it and found it after 10 minutes somewhere small in the settings. A possible solution would be to make it more visible and direcly accessible in the Miro App. For example with a direct link to this wish List.I think you could collect even more amazing ideas, because more people would know about this.

    More Open Source IconsOpen

    Miro has icons for some very big open source projects, but there are so many icons of important projects missing. I was adding them always individually, but the last time I wanted to  use an icon for some search engines and found out, that there no icons for elastic search, no icon for meilisearch and also no icon for typesense. I think it would be very beneficial to add icons for more open source projects or give them an easy way to add it to Miro. Miro itself is based on the shoulders of so much open source work. It would be just fair to provide a proper collection of open source icons for all customers.

    Shorter Board HistoryOpen

    I like to work with the Board History, to check what my colleagues worked on or to restore something which got deleted.However I find it difficult to read it. Especially when someone moved a Frame with many items inside. The Board History is becoming a long list of every item inside which has been “changed”, even though only the position changed and not the context. A possible solution would be to shorten the list especially in this case. To summarise it to “Frame xy has been moved”.

    Option to default newly created boards to public accessOpen

    Currently it’s not possible to make boards public access by default; you need to do this for each and every one, which is easy to forget to do. It would be significantly beneficial to be able to specify this, to reduce frustration for people creating boards and those viewing them.

    Miro App, Screen Share Focus ModeOpen

    A new option for screen sharing the Miro App window without going full screen to allow for multiple applications to be used while hiding other tabs from view.Potential Ways to streamline this:Open Tab in New Window Let me open a focused view for Screen Sharing New Presentation Mode Focused Mode, only show this board My Use Case:I am often using Miro in meetings to takes notes and visualize the topics we discuss. I have become accustom to using the App on Windows and I find that it is really useful to have quick access to my current active boards that I am working on. As I meet with different groups I switch boards to cover our topics and nots. When I have a meeting where it’s not appropriate for me to display other board tabs across the top I close all the other tabs to have a focused view. After the meeting I reopen my other tabs for quick access.

    Bitmap images are increasingly stored in .jfif format on the Internet. Please add support for this format, so that users do not have to convert images collected on the Internet into jpegs. Thank you!

    Allow different size font in table cellDuplicate Idea (closed)

    It would be incredibly helpful to be able to have different font sizes within the same table cell so I didn’t have to keep doing the workaround with adding a text box near the table cell text.

    Delete text ONLY from multiple selection of elementsDelivered

    Whether anyone had struggles while clearing text inside elements (e.g. sticky notes), with the upfront fear that there are more than 10-15-20-25 elements waiting in the line requiring the same process to repeat again and again? To delete text from the element:Double-click element text Double-click element text Remove text Next elementor maybe for better oriented people:Double-click element ctrl+A Remove text Next element What if ONLY text could be deleted from multiple selection of elements? Why not just select multiple elements, and select option to clear text only? Maybe even some shortcut to that? This could help people to reduce “continuous mechanical work” by repeating the same process dozens of time.The only alternative to overcome “Delete & retype” is to use template (save, load), but again, nobody wants to create that so many templates just because they want to clear the text from multiple selection of elements.I checked every Miro shortcuts & hotkeys, and there's no way to do it.Not really sure if anyone saw the problem in this, but I'm sure many of you would like the shortcut.Looking forward to discuss about this!

    Colour SaturationOpen

    When selecting colorus for shapes it would be great to be able to choose saturation as well as opacity. This would give users a much greater control of colours, especially when layering shapes ontop of one another.

    I’d like to see a setting that would disable the public sharing link after a preset period of time either by the board owner or company admin. Additionally, as a company admin, I would like the ability to require setting a password if sharing a public link.

    CSV export changes the - to some other Character and does not match in ServiceNow tableOpen

    When selecting Application Maps (microservices) in support of ServiceNows Service Mapping, the exported text are changed from the actual text within each box in Miro. for example [ my-cool-microsevice-prod ] the string can match within the Service now platform with clipboard, but NOT when one take the csv text and attempts the same search of the same table records within SeriveNow Application Service Table.   Miro is altering  [ my-cool-p - Container-prod - DataController ] to what ever is in this [ my-cool-p - Container-prod - DataController ]the white space here is actual example of the output CSV with hidden/altered/ miro payload.
