Super simple: Font size within shape

I need to be able to have different font sizes and formatting within a single shape. The only work-around is to have multiple shapes with different formatting, then overlay them.

It’s such a bad inconvenience that I am starting to investigate changing to a different platform. This was discussed over 2 years ago in a Q&A… and still hasn’t been done! C’mon guys it’s super simple!

Was it helpful?

I agree. I need to be able to simply have within a shape larger bolded text as a kind of title for that box, and below it, a small space, and below that, unbolded slightly smaller text.  But as it is, if you highlight some text (or that empty line) in a shape and change the size, it changes the size of the unhighlighted text. Very odd. Visio doesn’t do this. It makes the text difficult to read - all clumped together. Extremely basic and I agree with the previous poster, that this alone makes it so unpresentable that it does make me reconsider Visio.
