If you want to jam AI into your product like everyone else - by all means - but could you maybe provide a way to opt out? Adobe has made their software virtually unusable with all the AI crap they have bloated their software with and that they have put it front and center and took the actual useful tools and buried them in hidden menus. Let’s not follow in their footsteps. At least give us the option to disable AI so we can actually get our work done. If I wanted an uphelpful intern, I would hire one.
As a producer of audited diagrams, I want to embed dynamic variables in my diagrams to always show the Last Modified Date/Time (with time zone) value and the Last Modified By (name) value. This enables me to avoid human error when producing diagrams that need to be timestamped and submitted to auditors for review.Currently, whoever is modifying the board must remember to manually edit these two text boxes in the Miro board. Also, this feature is standard in Lucid Enterprise, which is what a significant number of my users are accustomed to using.
Allow using Azure Cards in Table/Timeline/Kanban.Include ‘Start Date’ and ‘Target Date’ - the standard Portfolio level fields used for Epic/Feature and used in Azure DevOps Delivery Plans tool Example use case: Having the ability to use Azure cards across these Miro tools, would allow us to eg. display Roadmaps of Epics to give context to a PI session where Planner (Program Board) is used for planning Features across teams and iterations.
We have a number of ‘master’ boards that have been designed and created in different projects. The masters will be managed in our methodology team and then copied to other teams & projects for each customer that we have Miro workshops with. At present there are at least 70 ish boards which means a lot of moving & copying if we dont have a bulk transfer capability, especially inefficient if we have to move projects, board by board, customer by customer, so any bulk move we can make would be very valuable. It would be a great enhancement to Miro to be able to perform the following functions in bulk for multiple selected boards: Copy / Duplicate Move to new Account Move to new Project Download Backup
Tags on stickies are great, but I don’t like the formatting restrictions of stickies. Can we have tags on all shapes (same goes for emoji voting)
Miro is fantastic on a massive screen. It’s like you can see, arrange and rearrange your mind in 2d. The bright background and colours work well for feeling energised, fresh, and productive early in the day. For those of us who get more done during the night, however, the brightness can feel glaring and have the opposite effect, causing fatigue, especially with extended use.It feels like a godsend to night-owls that the software industry is finally recognising our needs with dark mode being added to everything. While the implementation would understandably be no small task, I, for one, would greatly benefit from dark mode being added to what has become a fantastic tool in my work and lifestyle.Thank you for Miro, and the Wishlist,Walter
Hi, we primarily use Miro for process improvement kaizen events. We do a lot of process mapping and swim lane maps. It would be nice to be able to import and export Visio since the Visio mapping tools are much more robust. Either that, or a tool similar to the new Kaizen where you can easily add rows and columns.
Our team uses GitLab and I would like to see an integration with it like there is already for Jira (Cards)
Within a table you can specify a column to be a URL (and then optionally specify to allow multiple URL’s). At the moment when a URL is added, it’s shown with a grey background.It would be useful (at least to me) to have the ability for each URL to have a configurable colour.For context, I’m using a table to perform an audit of what documents exist for particular products. The various columns in the table represent the different types of documents eg. User Manual, Assembly Manual, Bill of Materials etc.If the document exists and has been approved, I’ll set the colour of the URL to be green. If the document exists and has not yet been approved, I’ll set the colour of the URL to be orange. If the document doesn’t exist, I’ll add a link to a task and set the colour to be red.Ideally I’d be doing all of this in a Document Management System, but it seemed like a good idea at the time to use a table in miro (or a spreadsheet).
Introducing personalized pointers on Miro Board will aim to enhance user experience and collaboration by allowing users to customize their cursors. This feature will make it easier to identify individual contributors in a shared workspace, adding a fun and interactive element to the collaboration process. Sometimes seeing a lot of people collaborating and pointing feels like a sword fight 🌂 or a lot of bees flying 🐝.
Like importing from a spreadsheet works right now, but with a bulleted list. For example:Many people takes notes in bullet form Many agendas are written in bullets Bullets are a great way to organize information in a linear documentImagine being able to select and copy that entire bulleted list and then paste into a Miro board. You could get asked “Paste your data as a text box or convert the bullets into sticky notes” just like when pasting in cells. Then you could have one stick note for each bullet.
Miro needs the options to change from American (US) English. American English is not the only English. There should be at minimum the option to choose British (UK) English. And at best take a leaf out of Apple and provide Australia, Canada, Ireland, India, New Zealand, Singapore and South Africa EnglishI am so sick of having to correct s from z. Prioritise. Organise. Particularly when using Miro Assist - it writes great copy but it’s full of typos for anyone outside of the USA. More countries write in a derivative of British English than American English. Only Americans use American English.I know it’s hard for Americans to understand this, but other countries do exist!
