    Add support for the S Pen button on Samsung devicesOpen

    In many other applications, especially note taking applications, the S Pen button can be held down to change the tool, often to an eraser tool. It would be cool if support for the button could be added such that we can map some function to it(or just have it swap between the current tool and the eraser).

    Have a Date Countdown FeatureOpen

    I suggested a brainstorm tasks to a team where, anytime each person wants, they could go to miro and add an idea. This has a due date, and would be nice to have countdown on the corner. Like Timer but for longer times.Similar to want conferences and music events do on their websites.

    Can I choose a default (dark) color for my boards?Open

    In the absense of a dark mode, despite seemingly a lot of request for this, for a long time, making boards black or dark grey are the next best thing. But even my template (with white text etc.) doesnt remember board color, so every single board I make, I need to get into a 4 step deep subfolder, to change the board color to black. Every. single. time. I make a new board…

    Fix note toolOpen

    I use the checklist in the note tool to put quick to-do list items, abut whenever i copy-paste something like a link, it automatically stops being a checklist item. i cant even do “/” in the beginning to add the checklist again. the only way to make it in checklist back is to add a checklist in the line above then backspace to make it go the the line above.

    Set Opacity of LineOpen

    I have to create and manage large flow diagrams. Lines often have to pass through lanes without any block interactions, creating visual clutter and confusion. Setting opacity of lines would help solve this problem for me.

    Remove Join Team and Request Access buttons on Guest LinksOpen

    We use Miro in our agency for all of our projects. We often create boards where we are inviting our clients as collaborators. We'll share through the guest link from a board level but we consistently get clients requesting to join our team which we don't want as we don't want them to have visiblity to all of our boards. Is there some way to remove these options in a guest link view?

    Highlighter palette: more colors and a movable dock - fewer clicks, faster workOpen

    Hi,Highlighting is how I study. I pair each spoken sentence with the line of code it produced, using one color per pair, so the reader sees instantly which sentence made which line.One paragraph needed six colors. The quick strip holds three. So I stop, reopen the palette, swap a slot, highlight, reopen, swap again. That kills the flow.It got worse: I ran out of colors and ended up typing ●2● into the document itself to mean "the second blue." A hand-typed mark, inside my content, that shows up in every export.

    Making frame reveals fun with reveal effectsOpen

    At Canvas 26, the Miro conference, presenters spoke about making work fun. To make it even more fun working with people in Miro, could we add ‘reveal effects’ when revealing hidden frames? When you click the eye... a wall of confetti bursts and fades away, a red velvet curtain parts to reveal content, a steel door slides away, a flame burns away the frame mask. All things that could add a little something extra to workshops and presentations.

    Hotkeys and Better ErasersOpen

    The precision eraser is really bad compared to other whiteboard apps like Microsoft whiteboard-which I cant use anymore-I would really like it to be ‘upgraded’ so it is smoother. Also, adding customizable hotkeys would be amazing, I know that there is p, e, etc but having ones I can make myself would be so nice, like for pen 2 and pen 3.

    Resize imported drawing objects with change of aspect ratioOpen

    I and colleagues/clients need to manipulate geometric shapes and specialised objects (such as technical drawings of equipment) which the range of Miro’s on-board shapes currently doesn’t and some cases never would support. Currently such objects copied into a board can be resized and rotated but only at their original aspect ratio. For optimum use we’d want to flexibly resize these objects withn Miro, rather than having to resort to another application to to the stretching.

    Ruler Tool or Grid Measurement FeatureOpen

    Would like to request a tool to set the dimensions of the grid along with a ruler to measure distance between objects.I often use Miro as a VTT replacement for board and tabletop games and a measurement tool would be extremely useful.

    Ability to Scale DrawingsDuplicate Idea (closed)

    Having the ability to set a scale - either as a temporary scale that can be changed as you move across the board, or a scale for each frame or something. So that you can correlate a box of X pixels (inches would be better) to a real life scale of X feet. This is related to the release of object dimensions. This would be so helpful for architecture firms using this as a collaborative drawing tool since apps like Morpholio Trace do not have great collaboration features.

    Measure to scaleOpen

    A measure tool would be immensely useful for users in design professions. Similar to what’s available in some PDF applications such as Adobe Acrobat, measure tools allow establishing a working scale. Within Miro, a frame could be used to set a locally applicable scale where a widget would define a length on the whiteboard and a real world scale. This would also be helpful for page layout mockups.For example, I might stretch a widget to match a length on an image or pdf pasted into the whiteboard and then set the real world dimension of that length, for example 100ft or 1in. The tool would then allow me to select to additional points to find the relative length and real world dimension.

    The absence of basic drawing and measurement tools is a major concern. For our workflow, the following are essential:1. Accurate scaling of imported drawings2. Basic dimensioning tools3. A ruler4. The ability to measure areas to ensure designs fit within specific square meterage or footage

    Hi! As a tutor, something I've been missing is a good calculator on Miro — as a component you can drop on the board, where each person on the board can see its state and potentially click on it.When I run tutoring sessions, most of the time my students and I have to separately do simple calculations on large numbers using an outside calculator. Having it on Miro so all students can see it would make things much nicer ^^

    Roadmap Planning Template - Sync colors between Timeline and Table viewOpen

    Consider adding a way to reflect item colors, which indicate the owning project, in the table view. This would help reduce duplicate work when assigning colors/projects in both the Timeline and Table views and prevent inconsistencies between the two.

    Custom Background Colors and Light Text Options for Miro DocsOpen

    The ability to change the background color of Miro Docs would be a great feature. It would make it easier to create custom-colored sections for paragraphs without having to place the text inside a frame every time.In addition, having darker background options would be especially useful for people who prefer working in a dark environment. To support this properly, Miro Docs could also include light text colors such as white, off-white, or light gray, so the text remains easy to read on dark backgrounds.

    Hello,stickies are the no1 feature in miro to me.But it would be much better, if i could choose a colour for the sticky and even have more options for text formatting (the same like i have in the text-tool: bold style, fonts).I added a picture of what i like to see in miro.Michael

    Feature Request: Separate Pen and Eraser Tools on the SidebarOpen

    Hello Miro Team,I really enjoy using Miro, especially for handwritten notes and drawing with a tablet and stylus. Thank you for creating such a great product.I would like to suggest a feature that would significantly improve the drawing experience.Currently, switching between the Pen and Eraser requires additional steps. It would be much more convenient if both the Pen and Eraser could be placed as separate, dedicated icons on the sidebar, allowing users to switch between them with a single tap.For users who frequently write or sketch with a stylus, this small change would greatly improve workflow and make Miro feel even more natural for digital handwriting.I hope you will consider adding this feature in a future update.Thank you for your time and for your continued work on Miro.Best regards,

    Randomizer ( Dice, Coin, Percent, etc )Open

    Do you ever found yourself between 2 colors for that icon, in a pair team you have a split decision, where to order food? Sometimes you cant decide, lets the chaos help. My suggestion is a simple input field where you write in a formula and send the result to the chat and the last result to a component ( sticker for example ) in the board. The most know randomizer formula come from RPG tabletop  x D y +/- z x = number of attempts y = max number ( 1 to y ) z = value to increase ( + ) / reduce ( - ) from the total Example: 1d2 = One random number between 1 and 2 → Toss a coin ( to your witcher ) → Output: 1d2 ( 1 ) 1d6 = One random number between 1 and 6 → Simple die  → Output: 1d6 ( 3 ) 2d6 = Two random numbers between 1 and 6 → Two simple dices → Output: 2d6 ( 4,5 ) = 9 1d100 + 10 = One random number between 1 and 100 plus 10 → Percent number plus 10 → Output: 1d100 + 10  ( 56 ) = 66
