    Feature request: Conditional formatting for Kanban card colorsOpen

    I would love to see a conditional formatting feature for Kanban card colors in Miro.Specifically, it would be very helpful if a card could automatically change to a predefined color when: the End Date has passed the Status is changed to Done This would make it much easier to identify overdue cards and completed tasks at a glance, and would improve visibility and workflow management for teams using Kanban boards.

    When creating a large/complex flow or process diagram I always wish to label each step (shape) in the process with a number, so 1, 2, 3,… etc. The way I have to do this write now is insert a text element, set the font and style, etc. and then duplicate it for as many steps in the diagram and then set all the numbering by editing each text element. Doesn’t seem like much except when my flow/process diagram has 50-100 steps. It would be great to have a tool/widget, that when activated, you can click on the board and it keeps inserting a number that keeps incrementing. Also, that number label should be editable so that I could change the number, change the style, set a new start from value, etc. SnagIt has this feature and it’s extremely useful for labeling an image.

    Dynamic Last Modified By and Last Modified Date variablesOpen

    As a producer of audited diagrams, I want to embed dynamic variables in my diagrams to always show the Last Modified Date/Time (with time zone) value and the Last Modified By (name) value. This enables me to avoid human error when producing diagrams that need to be timestamped and submitted to auditors for review.Currently, whoever is modifying the board must remember to manually edit these two text boxes in the Miro board. Also, this feature is standard in Lucid Enterprise, which is what a significant number of my users are accustomed to using.

    Paste Style for mind map nodesOpen

    Styles cannot be pasted on mind map nodes. Although you can copy the style from a mind map node, you can only paste it to other objects like sticky notes, but not to another mind map node. That is kind of weird imho. There ist also a “solved” discussion on that, but it is only said there that it is not possible yet.[SOLVED] Paste style missing on mind map nodes | MiroI created this topic to give other users the possibility to upvote this.

    Floor Plan AI handlingOpen

    We would like to see the ability of Miro and or a partner within Miro have the ability to convert images and PDF floor plans into editable objects. This way we can take mounted evac plans and or plans that are sent to us not in the editable format so we can easily convert and work on them.  Seems this would be a good task of the AI within Miro. This is why we went Miro vs. Microsoft Visio. We like working with the AI and our diagraming needs.  Outside of workflows and flow charts, our facilities and management team uses Visio for floor plans.

    Renaming Assets in MiroOpen

    It would be very helpful to my team’s workflow to have the capability to rename assets once they’ve been dropped into a board. We often have boards full of sketches that are copied & pasted into our Miro boards from Adobe Illustrator. Members of various cross-functional teams use our boards to download the most up-to-date sketches for their presentations. Unfortunately, when something is pasted in from Illustrator, even if we rename it in miro, it still downloads as “image.png”, meaning these team members have no way of keeping track of what sketch is what. We change designs frequently and are often expected to make many live updates during meetings, so we don't have the time to save each asset every time we make a change. We usually end up having to go through our boards near the end of every season and hunt down the correct asset in our illustrator files, save each one as a correctly named PNG, and re-uploading everything, which is a frustrating extra step just for the sake of file naming conventions, and can be quite time consuming since each designer's board holds a lot of individual assets.Let me know if there’s any workarounds/plans to address this in the future.Thank you!

    Allow selecting locked objects when ctrl key pressedOpen

    Use caseI have locked all frames on my board to prevent students from accidentally moving them around Now I need to make space so I can add a new frame between two existing frames. I have 22 frames that need to be moved down so the new frame can fit inbetween Because all frames are locked I currently have only two options, and both of them are really bad: option 1 - unlock each of the 22 frames 1 by 1, then move them, then lock them again 1 by 1. options 2 - unlock all objects, and then spend the next 3h re-locking all the objects that should be lockedSolutionWhen I hold the ctrl key down and use my mouse to select objects, locked objects are also selected Once I have them selected with this method, I can move them like I could move unlocked objects One I have them selected, I can also bulk-unlock those objects that are selectedPainfulnessextremely high. I sometimes have to spend 30mins or more fiddling with locking and unlocking objects. It’s enough to make you develop serious resentmentFyi, Mural has had this for years, and it works extremely well.

    Feature Request: Collapsible/Toggle Text Blocks for better board organizationOpen

    Currently, the only way to collapse content in Miro is by using Mind Maps. However, when working with large text blocks or complex documentation on the board, things get cluttered very quickly.I would love to see a "Toggle" or "Collapse/Expand" feature for regular text boxes and shapes.Questions for the team: Are there any plans to implement a text-collapsing feature soon? Is this currently being developed or present on the 2026 roadmap? This would be a game-changer for those of us who use Miro for deep research and structured note-taking.

    Connection Lines - be able to set alignment, i.e. ensure it is completely horizontal or verticalOpen

    Hi,I am using the connection lines to create lines that are not connected to other objects. I would like the lines to be completely horizonal or vertical however I am finding that I can only do so via the steadiness of my hand.  It would be great to be able to set the alignment of the line so that I know it is completely straight.LOVE MIRO!

    Expose Flows & Sidekicks as MCP Server ToolsOpen

    I use Claude Code and Cursor with Miro's MCP Server daily to create architecture diagrams, process flows, and documentation for clients. The MCP integration is great for creating board items, but it stops at the basic operations.What I'd love to see: the ability to trigger Flows and invoke Sidekicks through MCP. Right now, I can generate a diagram from my terminal via MCP, but then I have to switch to the Miro UI to run a Flow that refines it or applies branding. That breaks the whole point of an agentic workflow.Imagine being able to prompt Claude Code: "Create an architecture diagram from this codebase, then run the 'Brand & Polish' Flow to make it client-ready." One command, end-to-end.Specifically, I'd like to see:- flow_trigger / flow_list / flow_status as MCP tools- sidekick_invoke to send prompts to Sidekicks via MCP- Some form of visual verification so the agent can check what's actually on the boardThis would make Miro the most powerful AI-native workspace in the MCP ecosystem — and would be a strong reason for developers to choose the Business + AI Workflows plan.#MiroAI #MCP

    Remap Hot KeysOpen

    Suggestion: it would be amazing to have the power to re-map the Hot Keys / Keyboard Shortcuts, like how Photoshop / Premiere does.  My brain intuitively wants to use similar keys from other applications that I’ve used for decades, and it would greatly increase productivity to re-map a few keys (like ZOOM not being a two key shortcut for example). M

    Duplicate a templateOpen

    I think it would be useful adding one more feature for templates so that you can directly duplicate one.I’m working on a template, doing some major changes and adding some more content. Since I want to keep the old content, plus the new one, but I’m going to reshape/reorganize everything with a new visual structure, I now have to choose Use the template first, and then save it as a new template. It would be easier — at least in my opinion — to simply be able to duplicate a template and immediately create another one.

    It would be really great if it would be possible to define text styles in Miro.Since Information granulation needs (visual) hierarchy it would be great to define something like “Headline 1”, “Headline 2”… “Paragraph Text”, “Quote”… just like in MS Word.This would be a game changer for my work in Miro.Please also let me control the padding and line height of a text box.

    Nesting sub spaces into spacesOpen

    At the moment, “Spaces” doesn’t provide the capability to nest spaces within them. It would be great to have to option of nesting spaces together, making the spaces more focused and more user friendly.For instances, we’re currently using 1 space per feature. Each feature space has 3-4 boards, all with different purposes, still linked to that specific feature.We have many features! This generate a LOT of spaces, added to every other spaces that aren’t features. Having the possibility to have ONE space named FEATURES, and nest sub-spaces in there, for each feature would make navigating and searching much easier and nicer!

    Nested FramesOpen

    I would like to be able to add frames that can be nested in larger frames, so that I can move the larger frame around with the smaller frames inside. This will help collaboration where we’re running multiple studies for multiple teams and frames serve as the Table of Contents.
