Hey all!Hope you’ve been doing well.We have a few new employees that are about to start and I’m curious if you have any favorite onboarding templates in the Miroverse, or fun ways you’ve used Miro to onboard new employees.I’m looking to be a bit better this go-round on setting expectations for the new employees. We already have a pretty good “handbook” running with all of the log ins and people they’ll meet, but I’m looking for something a bit more tailored to how to onboard someone for a specific role.Curious to hear your thoughts! PS: don’t forget about our first event, getting to know you on Friday at 9am Pacific time!

Our company merged with another company and we created a new domain for the two to be a part of.  How do I update all the users with their new email address?  Company A + Company B = Company C.We have users that have userid@companya and userid@companyb that I want to update with users@companyc.  Since I download all the users in a csv file, can I then upload them back with updated email addresses?  I just didn’t see a way to do that or how to update this without messing up our charges for licenses.

As the whiteboards can become quite big, it is likely that other participants can not see what you are currently drawing on the whiteboard (because out of their screen).It would be nice to have a function that allow to re-center other participants view to your current view (of course after having asked for their permission, for instance “Mr. xxx would like to re-center your whiteboard view, do you agree?”)

Dear Miro Team! I accidentally deleted a board. Unfortunately I have no URL and no exact date. Is it possible that you can see my last deleted boards and restore them if necessary? Thank you very much.

I upgraded to Team and now when I try to add projects i’m asked to upgrade.The Support ‘ share your feedback and ask questions’ bubble is not in my drop down menu where the online tutorial says it should be.Please help  

I am new in Miro, but I have been working with other Flowchart creation tools. It is very annoying when you create sequence diagram and you need more space for additional connectors.  So, I was wondering whether it is possible to keep connector in the same position while I scaling the shape.

Hi!  I’m trying to make a small flow chart using shapes and connecting lines.  However, the connecting line isn’t allowing me to add text.  When I click on the line the edit bar pops up, but it won’t add any of the arrows (or other end options) and it won’t give me the ability to add text to the line.  I click on the +T button, but it’s not giving me the ability to add any text.  What am I doing wrong here? 

Hi all, I’m currently using a free plan in Miro with 3 boards I have been using on a daily basis. However, I will be leaving my current company soon so my company account will be deactivated. There’s a lot of information that I’d like the company to keep for knowledge retention purposes rather than just delete the boards after I leave. Is there any way that would enable me to transfer the boards to another account in the company that will be accessible for people having access to the boards already?

I used add image clicking on arrow. Now the arrow seems doing different function.How can I add an image?PSI have also tried dragging for desktop, but i couldn’t add anything.Thank you

My team massively used the Cards Panel to see what cards were we assigned to in a Scrum Board. I just read in this article that it was deprecated - why was this deprecated and is there a workaround/feature that can be used to achieve the same?

Hi!  I have the problem that one of my colleagues just lost his license somehow and now he is not anymore the owner of his boards. Who is becoming the new owner?  And does the license can not be automatically extended after one year? He did not get any mail to extend it or that he would be kicked out of his license.  Greetings Judith 

My company will soon delete our payment account. I would like to transfer some boards to my free account before that. How can I do this?

Hello community,as of today, people we invited to our public miro-Board are not able to access anymore. The link settings are set to “Can view”, but people are alws asked to sign in, when opening the link (see screenshot). Red text says “An error occurred processing your request. Please try again.”Any ideas? Thank you!EDIT: Deleting Cache and Cookies doesn’t help. Problem appears in Chrome and Firefox in normal and private mode.Robert 

Is it just me, or does the distribute horizontally and distribute vertically option “icons” when selecting multiple objects look mixed up to you?I’ve always had to think twice and wait for the tooltip to be really sure that I’m picking the right one.To me, this indicates a vertical distribution: | ■ |… while this indicates a horizontal distribution: ––– ■–––Because if we would follow through the visualization, the vertical distribution would look like this:| ■ || ■ || ■ |… and the horizontal distribution would look like this:–––––––––  ■   ■   ■ –––––––––But in Miro, it’s the other way around. Am I looking at it the wrong way, somehow? What are your thoughts here?

I would like to have a higher quality export quality for paid teams. We upgraded from free version but only received 100 kb better quality on export of the pdf from 400 kb to 500 kb. I have searched the community and my board does not adhere itself to being split up into frames for separate HD downloads. Any ideas?

hi everyone, Is it possible to change a board to read only for everyone that it was shared with after an event? For example, after a workshop concludes, can I change the board to read only for all the participants to stop folks from editing it? I can do it by going to each person’s name the board was shared with but trying to find an easier way. A global setting to make a board read only for everyone except the owner? Thank you!

I’m having a lot of trouble finding the answer to this. Anyone know how to click on a box and make the text bigger in one only text box.I am on a mind map = I can click in the centre and make that text bigger, but apparently it makes all the text bigger. That’s not good, I want to make different text in the mind map different sizes.When I click on any other text box, it give me no options to change text size. Please help. This seems like basic mind map functionality, surely I’m missing something?

I am creating pictures in Miro to use in a film. It is animated and stuff needs to appear on each new frame. I have created the whole picture, and then I duplicate that frame and remove stuff in the other frames. When I export the frames as images (I have tried both jpg and PDF) the exported images are not accurate. Some pixels are missing to the right in one image, at the top at another, resulting in that you get sea sick from watching the pictures in a movie. What is wrong? I am using a fixed ratio 16:9 on my frames. I really need to get this done. Anyone having any idea of what’s going on?

Hello dear Miro community! Lately I’ve been thinking a bit about zoom size. When creating a new board, you always start at 100%. That’s also the default zoom when a user visits your board for the first time.So my question is quite simple:Do you always start at 100% zoom when creating new boards in Miro?Or do you have another starting point? If you do create them in “default mode” of 100% zoom, do you try to fit everything in the viewport? Do you create frames with the same zoom size?Maybe @Kyle Chipman has some best structural best practice advice on the matter? 

Hi, I was using the desktop app and received a message about the planned maintenance this Friday, and clicked on the link to Learn More. the desktop app launched the page in the app there is no BACK button restarting the app returns me to the page in the screen shot uninstalling, restarting, and reinstalling returns me to the page in the screen shotI assume I can get to boards by links, but this is really hard to work around - many of my boards haven’t been shared, even if I could find the messages in which I’ve shared them.If you have any suggestions or advice, I would be much obliged.Edit: added correct screen shot; the one showing my board tabs was from right after the problem occurred. I have since uninstalled, installed, restarted, etc. and the second screen shot is all I have when I launch the desktop app.
