Hi, my team and I have created a custom web plugin which was working properly. When a new team member was added, he could see the web plugin icon but the custom feature didn’t work at all. This is what we get as an error: “Uncaught (in promise) Error while command execution: Method 'board.widgets.get' requires scope 'boards:read'”. We have already allowed the “board:read” permission for our app. So I tried to reinstall the app but it seems we need to authorize the app. So I tried to authorize the plugin but I and my team get this message.We have subscribed for a team account and I am not sure how can we get this plugin to work again. I also tried to create a new app but this same message appears every time. Am I missing out on anything? Please help me out here! Regards,Taylor
The only way to edit a google slides doc is to open it in another screen away from the whiteboard. Ideally you should be able to have the google slides doc open on the whiteboard while you continue to think of ideas/ brainstorm. This way if something comes up you can add that idea to the google slides immediately without breaking flow. Or you can look at a document like a creative brief that will give information you need to crate new ideas. This is the same for mp4 video/ google docs/ pdfs any document that you work on or need while working on the whiteboardshould be open and accessible in the whiteboard while using the whiteboard. This is imperative and a game changer to work flow.

I have a list of cards, currently about ten, in a panel. Each one has an associated PDF that I want to show on the board.I can’t add a PDF to a card so I intent to upload each pdf and place it next to the associated card with an arrow link, or combine the card & PDF as a group.When I upload a PDF to the board it’s very large. If I scale it down I can’t then zoom in close enough to read it.Is there a way to represent a PDF as a link/icon/thumbnail so that it can be expanded somehow on the board, and then collapsed down again to keep things aligned and tidy?

As stated in the title, 'zoomToObject' is deprecated api. It will be removed soon. pops up in console everytime I use the “await miro.board.viewport.zoomToObject(widgetID);” command. It is nice that you warn users that a certain functionality will be removed, but some insight as to why this would be removed and maybe what will replace this functionality and when would be welcomed too, because right now I cannot find any other suitable command which could replace zoomToObject in my app. Maybe keeping a update log page with scheduled updates including scheduled API changes would help, or generally just some form of communication and updates about API issues, like updating metadata which has been now broken for over a month.
Hello community… I’m not a super experienced Miro user, but I’m trying to create a board that we can invited a customer to (guests, not part of our company) so that they can collaborate with us on a project. I only want this board viewable to the guests. when i created a test invite to my personal email (to test this), it gave me access to the board, but i could also navigate to see all our boards...(not what i want). Thank you in advance for help with setting up this single board privacy… cheers...
During PI planning with 15+ teams, a number of stickies are created and some of these has dependencies i.e. between team(s).Rather than navigate the Miro board, it would be useful to export all the tickets (e.g. to check, confirm the status of the dependency etc).Therefore the ask is how can I export links from a Miro board?
Hi Brilliants!I use a Miro board as Library for E-&Audiobooks - Images of covers work are linked to dropbox files that can be downloaded.How can I set this up so that people(with just the board-link) cannot edit but still access the links? This seems not possible with Edit nor View-only rights - either they can edit everything(not desirable) or they can’t click the links(which is the purpose of this library!) ‘Public Library’ - How to set this up so that people with the board link can place their own covers linked to cloud-files, but cannot edit the links of others?Would be really grateful for your feedback! ;-) Big thanks!
Hi everyone, I see this question has been posed in the past but apparently there wasn’t a surefire fix. When I try to log into my Miro account or access a Miro board the Miro logo continues to show loading, but nothing else happens. I can’t access any of my Miro boards. Please help!
Is it just me? Are other Windows App users experiencing lag on the Windows miro app? This is the Miro app that I have downloaded from the Microsofy Store.I’ve also had the app freeze up and I cannot flick on any of the icons within Miro. I’ve had to kill the windows app and start again. I work on a Surface Pro with 16GB RAM and core i17 processor - these specifications would be adequate. My tasks include:Using my stylus to write notes Ideating using stickiness and text Hope to understand what others are going through. Thanks
Hello, I’m trying to upload an image widget via the REST api. I can see some references to https://miro.com/api/v1/boards/<boardId>/integrations/imageplugin using a hash authentication, but nothing on the documentation. Is there an equivalent in the published API? Many thanks

I have exported a series of frames to pdf (pdf is only export option provided) and then inserted them in a PowerPoint file. That file has then been uploaded to MS Teams for further work and comments. However the frame images are in a garbled font when viewed through the Teams viewer. If the file is ‘Opened in Desktop App’ the font is fine. Seems to be an issue with the Teams viewer?

I try to add them to the team with the license, however the billing calculation comes out for a much higher amount. For example, when trying to buy one license ($ 8 / month), it turns out that the next billing will be for $ 81.67 on July 11, 2021?I only want to buy 2 more licenses from the team, 1 for 3 months and another for 4 months. I used the “align child nodes” feature and when I started moving stuff around the whole mind map went bonkers crazy. Can’t untangle it without stuff moving even more. Is there a way to undo the alignment?

Hi Miro community,I just realized, I got different types of invoices.The invoice I can download from my Miro account: There I can see my own VAT ID but no VAT ID of Miro. The invoice I received in an email: There are 2 invoices including the Miro VAT ID and 1 without. All 3 invoices don´t show my own VAT ID.In Germany (that´s what I was told) you need an invoice with both VAT IDs. How can I get such an invoice from Miro?Would be great to get some help! I am trying to use the Miro App on a MacBook Pro with Intel Cores, running Catalina 10.15.7 but I cannot get the Intel Mac App to load successfully.It seems to install fine but every time I start the app, the icon appears for a moment in the Dock and then disappears. I never get any error or other feedback.I have uninstalled, re-downloaded, and re-installed - same problem.I believe it has something to do with my organizations MFA. If I restart in Safe Mode I can start Miro and access my account and boards. But when I restart in normal mode, I’m back to a Miro App that loads and then quits.Any ideas???
Hey team, I had to reinstall windows on my PC and now I can’t install Miro.I downloaded the 64 bit version from the website and it never starts, it keeps loading for hours and nothing happened.I am using Bitdefender Total Security, not sure if it is blocking Miro, but I am not sure, since I had it previously.Anybody had similar issues? We have a number of members who do not require full access and I wondered if anyone could offer advice on how to downgrade them to non user roles as I have looked at the "managing teams tips” but there is no mention of how to do this, any help would be great thanks in advance Iain
Dear there,I am new to Miro, and was studying the different plans, thought maybe Team plan fits my need. but was struggling to understand the concept of No. of Team members, e.g. 10 members, what does this 10 mean?does it mean, Miro will create 10 accounts for me? and then i share with my global team memebers? or does it mean in my Miro board, only 10 guests are allowed to join the discussion? and edit my boards? many thanks for your support. yoursTony
