@Guillermo Pérez - When you are added to a new team, this usually does not result in being removed from other team spaces, unless of course those other spaces are managed under the same subscription/by the same admin.it is always possible that you created boards in someone else’s team space and then a Team Admin removed you from that space – this is very a very common scenario.How many team spaces do you currently see from your dashboard? Have you looked for your boards in all of those spaces? For example: As for being able to create another “free plan” space, you can only do this when your Miro account profile is no longer a member of any team space. When you are already a member of a space and use the Add teams action, you can only choose to purchase a new subscription (as you have learned). Depending on the plan type that you are currently a member of, you should be able to create a new board and set the board’s Team sharing to “No access”, so only you can see the board, which is al

Guest access to board without creating an account?

@EFG Jamboards Thank you for your answer, it’s really helpful! I had a play around with it before your response and found the answers I was looking for but I really appreciate the detail.You’re welcome! We’ve noticed that visitors to boards without Miro accounts have limited access to the toolbar e.g. uploads, Google images etc. and cannot copy and paste content across a board.The limited number of apps/tools is expected. When an anonymous visitor, i.e., unregistered user, is on the board, they will have very limited tool access. However, if they create a Free Miro account, they will have access to some more tools - I have noted the same tools are present regardless if they are on the board as a signed-in Visitor, or a Guest (which requires that you have a Business Plan - again, though, there are other benefits to being a “Guests”, which can be found in a link I previously shared in this post.More on the limited tools for non-team members → https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/36001

Miro keeps getting blocked when I type something

@TatianaErm - It could be helpful if you could share a recording of the issue as your use of “blocked” could mean something very different than my/someone else’s meaning of “blocked” in this scenario.Loom is free and quite easy to use an share a recording. You could do this from an area of your board that doesn’t contain any information that you do want seen on this forum, or just create a whole new board altogether. https://loom.comSome other questions:If there are other members on your Free Plan team, is this happening for them too or just you? (If just you, this could indicate that it is your network connection, which could be related to any antivirus/malware projection/VPN software, a router, etc. Are you able to try from another computer or network? Have you tried the Miro desktop app?

missing sorting options

@tmwsiy11 - Update: I think I found the only scenario in which the “Sort by” filter is hidden (and which cannot be confirmed by your screenshot, as it is only a partial screenshot): When on the “Recent boards” page, the Sort by filter is hidden - this is likely due to the view amalgamating boards from multiple teams; a view that loses the context of the board’s status (last opened when, by who, created by who (a security consideration when viewing a board from a team that you are not a member of...)):@tmwsiy11 - Do let me know if this still happens to you, even when not on the “Recent boards” page.

Guest access to board without creating an account?

@EFG Jamboards - First, to clarify, and excluding Free Plans, there are three core types of board participants:Members – Those with paid seats/licenses. Members can create boards and projects. Visitors – These are anyone – registered Miro account users or unregistered/anonymous users – who are accessing the board. Basically, anyone who has the board link and an Internet connection. The Visitors feature is available for all paid/Education plans. Guests – Anyone with a Miro account profile (Free Plan users included) whom you have either added to the board, i.e., in the share settings, or shared the “Guest link” with (again, int the share settings). Benefits of this feature: You can review who has access to the board, and assign them different permissions, e.g., Jim can Edit, but Ted can only view. These users will see your team space listed in their own Miro dashboard, along with any boards you have added them to as a Guest. But, they cannot see/create other boards or projects. Note: T

Inquiry About Advanced Search Capabilities in Miro

STILL NOT RESOLVED - FRAMES EXPORTING IN CORRECT ORDER

@Bobby Bracelin - I just did a few tests with expected ends results.Test 1 - I Ctrl-left-clicked three frames in the order I wanted them to be as pages in a PDF: The result was as selected: three page PDF, with frames 4, 2, and 6 as pages 1, 2, 3. Test 2 - Order in left frames sidebar and then export board. After the screenshot, I changed the order to: it exported as: I tried Small file size and Best quality for both tests, so four exports in total.Can you share more details of what steps you are taking? iObeya to MIRO Conversion

@EGrime - Re having other data exported from iObeya as XLSX, you can copy-paste spreadsheet cells onto a Miro board at which point you will be prompted if to create either Sticky Notes or a Table.If your Tasks are work items/independent objects, e.g., Jira or Trello cars, you could re-create them as Miro sticky notes. Next, you would select all of the sticky notes and from the context menu you could use the switch type action to change them in Miro Cards, Text, or Shapes. Unfortunately, you would lose of the your meta data as the spreadsheet cell-to-sticky note has a 1:1 relationship, meaning, the cell text becomes the sticky note text.Another option to be out of iObeya, but to maintain more task data is to import the task data into a Jira project as Jira issues and then use the Miro Jira Cards app to sync the Cards to a Miro board.

We would like to use it to run workshopsThe Starter Plan would work for this purpose, as it supports editing by Visitors, which is where the board participants would not need a Miro account to access and edit objects on the board, e.g., sticky notes.“Guests” is a slightly different feature where the participant would need to have a Miro account - even a free account is fine. The Guests feature lets yougive non-team members different access, e.g., one of the guests needs to edit, while another only needs to add comments. the board can only be accessed by those you explicitly add to the board, as opposed to the the board being set to “Anyone with the link”, i.e., Visitors access and someone with the link ends up sharing it (unintentionally or not) with people whom you do not want on the board.The Guests feature is only available for the Business and Enterprise p

New team member can not see project structure

How to copy boards containing Talktracks between plans? Export/import doesn't include the Talktracks.

@Darren Thatcher‘duolicate’ won’t work: that will simply ‘copy-n-paste’ one board to another within the same Miro Plan (the client’s).What I’m seeking is a ‘move’ (from client’s Miro Subscription/Plan to my own (the consultant’s plan))As long as you are the owner of a board, you will have the “move” action, so you can “move” a board to another team space: I suggested duplicating the board first in case, for example, you created a board for your client and wanted them to have a copy (with a Talktrack) but you also wanted a copy with a Talktrack. Again, if you do not want them to have a copy, then you would just move the board. Note: This will only work if (a) your account profile, i.e., email address, is a member of both teams and (b) you are the owner of the board.

@ruden - Thanks for the screenshot, and list of troubleshooting steps taken.Do you happen to know what subscription type your Miro account profile falls under? For example, if your employer has a Business or Enterprise subscription with Miro, has anyone in your organization who is an admin of your Miro plan taken a look into this for you?
