Hi! Use Case:I’m considering diving into the API to try to automate the upload of PDFs, extracting all their pages, laying them out in a specific layout, and then framing each page.Is this at all feasible?Thanks!-judd

Can I prevent others from seeing my cursor? 

Installed Jira Cards, seems that when we now try to use it, it does not properly populate.  For example: Searching for a project, does not show list of projects.  Everything looks right from a configuration perspective.  Almost seems like there is a security setting somewhere we missed.

Attempting to implement a Web-plugin that imports/uses data published on a webserver.This works OK if the webserver is the same as where the Web-plugin is published.But when data is published on different server the browser CORS protection prevents accessing the data.I’m not a web hacker, but if I understand it correctly to allow this the Server needs to modify the CORS policy by adding the data source location to the “Allow list”. Am I correct in this ?Would it be possible to add such listing in the plugin setup or installation?This would allow for a range of quite interesting features:Importing and synchronizing JIRA issues without JIRA Integration (our corp. policy does not allow such external access to an internal server) Charts and diagrams updated from live data Images and other content integrated into MiroOr is there some other solution?BR/Per

Dear Miro-Community,at the moment I am working in a project where we use Miro for the exchange between different departments. We would like to use a background design with a number and Logo to demonstrate the importance of a topic and additionalthe possibility to write new text in front. It would be important to have only one piece so that we can move it easily and copy it. So we search for a function similiar to the grouping in power point or word or the possibility to create a template in Miro. Is there something like this in Miro?Thanks for your help. Best regardsAnnika

I created a template called Teaching African American Literature and worked on it for several days. When I type the title, I see the thumbnail but when I click on the template, I go to a blank board. Why does this keep happening?? Also if I hit Save and Exit: I only exit and nothing is saved.

Hello Miro’ians.  Apologies for this being so long and maybe this should be in the Ideas section?  If so I’ll move it but maybe what I am asking for exists and I just dont know how to do it. As a person that thinks very visually it can be very difficult to explain what I NEED to “see” a project or organize a large overview of projects and how they relate.  After playing with many many many apps and software, Miro is the first piece of software that gets very close to being a tool that would allow me to build a living environment with a dashboard overview to organize my Projects and Life.The more I use and experiment, the more capable i see that it is but I believe it can be so much more.  I love the templates and use cases people have developed that are fascinating and have opened my eyes for how organization and collaboration can be taken to more than just the next level.  I have built a solution in no time and little experience for a buddy of mine that manages many automotive technic

Hi there, I am using flow chart boards only and I do color my nodes.There is only 16 colors. Great... ^^ However, my nodes have a variety of shades of a single color and I can’t uniform it.That looks super unprofessional and requires post-production if we are serious about presentation. Cheers,DS

Does anyone ever work alone on Miro? I am an associate professor who teaches African American Literature and Womanist Studies. I discovered Miro in a teaching workshop but loved the way I could connect and develop my own ideas. It was wonderful for a while. I even mapped an outline for an upcoming course and a book… And then it all went away. I tried to enclose the content in a frame and six attempts later I now have six Frame #5, none of which contain any of the content.  Has anyone else been trapped in a template? I thought I would explore the Crisis Solver template and now it’s one of the few things on my board...no matter how many times I’ve tried to delete it. I’m not completely computer illiterate-- and I really do want to explore my ideas  on an infinite board. Have you found a way to save your content? My company has decided not to move forward with their enterprise Miro account.  The enterprise account is now disabled, and I never had admin rights to that account.  I want to take my boards and move them to a new single license.How do I do that?

 Hi all… I am trying to grant access / editing rights to members of a client’s team for one to several of my company’s boards.  These members already have paid Miro subscriptions under the company they work for.  When I try to invite them to edit a board, I get a message that only members of my team can edit the board.  How can I grant clients with existing Miro licenses from other organizations editing rights to my team’s boards without paying for extra seats?It seems weird / irrational to expect us to pay for extra seats when they already have active licenses through their own company. The only workaround I’ve found is to ‘allow anyone with the link’ access – meaning anyone with the link can edit.  However, we don’t want these boards to be public / freely shareable due to confidentiality. What is strange is that the same clients have full access / editing rights to another board that I set up last year (when my subscription was free).I tried manually granting 2 of the clients seats,

Today I shared a board with guest links, but some guest had the board completely greyed out. Bummer!We tried different browsers We tried emptying the cache We tried restart browser and computerAfter the workshop i played around with it and found it to be the Sharing Settings / Permissions / Adding guests names if board is public.If set to CAN add names - board went greyed out if set to CAN’T add names - board worked perfectly normalWhat did I miss? Hi, I can’t seem to access the dashboard or any projects. It’s just stuck at the loading screen. I’ve tried logging in incognito and no luck there either.This isn’t the first time it’s happened. Last time I wasn’t able to log in for more than a day.Any ideas? What’s the best thing for me to try?Thanks!

Is it possible to enlarge the video chat window while working on a whiteboard?  I’ve played around a bit and searched through other convo’s here and I believe the answer is no but if I am wrong could someone please share how to do this. Thanks!

Hi all: Does anyone know why the desktop app by Miro is an .exe file and it does not install on your PC? So meaning I have opened the app numerous times, and have a shortcut I created in my taskbar at bottom. But if I delete the .exe downloaded file, the shortcut no longer works. Seems really odd. Thank you! Brian

Hello,I am using a notebook with a trackpad. I cannot interact with the posts. I cannot drag, I cannot type. Double tap zoom in. I see a cursor hand that navigate the board when I hover a post and try to move it.Any idea?

When creating Design boards, we are coming across an issue with scale of an object/file dropped into the board.   Ultimately we want to keep the scale of the object/file all the same.  One person’s 10”x10” jpeg, at 300 dpi file is coming in differently then someone else’s.  Do boards have a measurement associated with the grid in the background?  If I want to make a, true to scale-10 inch square, in the board- can that be done?  What is the dpi for the board and can that be changed? Thank You in advance for help on this issue.
