HI there, I have created a graph with bunch of nodes (sticky notes) and gave them colours.Nothing unusual. Now, I would like to use other colours to indicate another property of the nodes.Also I would like to have possibility to could assign sticky note colours (and other properties) to layers and then use different colour coding to preview different property, using layers functionality. If  Miro already offers this, or something similar. Hi, I’m building an application that transforms widgets using the REST API and I’m having some trouble understanding why the coordinates in the API response don’t seem to correspond the coordinates on my Miro board. I have for example a frame with text inside it on my board as shown below: Clearly the text is inside the frame and, to my intuitive understanding, should have a higher x coordinate than the frame which contains it. I was editing my board and all of a sudden parts of it disappeared so I clicked undo and then all of the board contents disappeared. I went into board history to try and restore it but when I click restore none of it comes back. How do I get what was on the board back?my screen looks like this

Hi, is there a way to auto-create, populate, and update Miro cards based on the contents of a google Sheet? For example, if the columns were “name”, “website”, and “number of employees”, one card would be created per row with that row’s name, website, and number of employees. You would also be able to change the cards content by editing the spreadsheet. Wouldn’t need it to be bidirectional though, only one way should be fine!  Thanks so much in advance!

Why are there fewer formatting options in the text editor on mobile than on desktop in the Miro community? No blockquotes, no bullet points… 😞I guess it has to do with the text editor provided by Insided not being up to par with modern standards. Damn you Insided!PS. I tried markdown for blockquotes, it didn't work.

(I’m one of the few ones who uses Miro actively)We are already using Slack, so I was wondering if it is possible to send slack messages to a miro board? Hi, I’m interested in applying for an educational plan for my project team at our university here in Germany. Is there a limit to the number of teams per university, or can various teams sign up for different educational plans? We are trying to figure out if we should set up one team for our whole department or separate ones for each project team. Thanks!!

There’s a board that was shared by others which I refer to a lot, but I find myself looking for the link all the time. Is there a way that I can put it in my dashboard permanently or do I have to upgrade my plan for it?

Hi all, I may be over-stretching the capability of Miro here but here goes….. Is it possible to have dynamic copies of elements in Miro? I don’t know if that’s the correct terminology, but what I mean is a ‘mirror’ or ‘ghost’ copy of something. One where, if the original element is changed, then the dynamic copy also updates/changes. For example, I might update a cell in a table with a new word or number. let’s say I have a copy of that same table elsewhere on the Miro board, is it possible to make the information in that other table uautomatically update to reflect the information in the original table? I have a similar question for post-it notes and non-written things too. Say for example moving shapes around the board. ThanksJustin

HiI would like to try Miro and use their Free Plan. How can I create a free Team?

I remember when first starting out in UX design, someone had told me that it was just a title and I’d be doing BA (Business Analyst) work. While there are similarities, they are both different roles as the name suggests.  What are some of yours? I’m sure there must be many and some interesting ones to! 

When my coleagues drop videos from Instagram feed in mac devices they drop the video and a thumbnail appears on the board. When I do the same on my windows pc the thumbnail doesn’t appear…Is there any difference between the mac and the pc app? There’s any way we can do the same from my device? Thank you!

When I save a Miro board to Google Drive it saves to my personal Google Drive.  I want to save it to a Shared Drive.  Is this possible? I moved the file that Miro saved to my drive manually to the shared drive but that seems to sever the connection with the Miro board.  It can’t open the Miro board after the move to the shared drive.

I have over 100 frames but want to print off a final PDF for the participants that capture their core workings. (not all the frames with instructions etc). At the moment Miro tech have told me there are no feasible workarounds. (other than duplicating the board and deleting frames). Surely there is a way to print a PDF to PDF to only end up with the pages i want to share????

I am like 10 minutes new to Miro, so I apologize if this is a supremely stupid question. But I set up my Board, and typed my first heading in my first note by double clicking on it and typing. This is not working for the second note. Nothing is working on the second note. When I select it the four dots appear, it has a blue square around it, but that is it. For the life of me I cannot get a cursor to add text to the note.I’ve locked the board, I’ve clicked the T, I’m sure I am on select mode. Thank you in advance!!

Hi!I’ve added as full member a collaborator to my board-project. I sent him an invitation to join the board which is what he did. Now, he’d like to use miro for separate projects. When he signs in, he only has access to our shared board project and can’t create other projects independently. So what shall he do in order to create other projects under his own profile page? Thanks.

I am currently struggling with a Team activity in which I plan to let participants drag and drop items to score points or give minus points. I have locked everything which should not be moved → No issues thereThe point items need to be moveable for the game to work → issue there is that i did not find a way to prevent participants from copying the items.  I checked the forum and did not find any way to prevent copying, but is there maybe a way to define that new objects are not pasted in the foreground but added automatically in the background? This way the “game field” would cover all new created items during the game…..Did anyone maybe solve a similar issue? I have a manual approach of moving an existing item over the gamefield to remove all front layer objects, but this more or less kills the gameplay.

Hi all -I’m trying to evaluate Miro and it’s suitability for our organisation, particularly around pricing. The majority of users in our company would just need to see and interact with specific boards in a basic way and the access they’d have via the new ‘guests’ functionality would be suitable. Given they do belong to the same organisation as us does the licensing prohibit us from doing the following:Purchase consulting plan for those members who need full access Through the consulting plan invite members of our own company as guests on specific boards?Thanks Calvin 

I have a team plan. I want to add as a guest, but I was mistakenly registered as a member. The person became a full license after the trial period ended. So I tried to remove the person from the members and invite them again as a guest, but it became a full license.How can I invite as a guest? 

How can I give Editor access to a board , owner of the board left the companyI cannot find this board on Miro

When sharing a link, I would like visitors (not guests) to be able to display their names during participation.  Working with large Executive groups for one day does not warrant trying to get everyone to sign up for Miro and figure all that out.   The solutions I have seen on here so far are all for guests, whom have a guest login.  Other whiteboards in the industry do a great job of this by prompting visitors when they arrive to add their name.
